Don't get me wrong... I don't particularly like character deaths ... but I understand they serve a purpose, and in any case I have no control over who will live and who will die. In this word... or that of LOST.

I don't want any of them to die. I voted for Jin, but that's only because I don't think they will kill off any of the others on the poll. If it was up to me though I would kill off Juliet before any of them. I love Jin, and I love our survivors.

I thought about including Ben (as well as Nikki, Paulo, Rose, Bernard, Tom, Alex, etc.), but I didn't want too many options so I decided to limit it to regular castmembers (and specifically our "heroes"). :smile:

Claire, Charlie, Jin, Sawyer, and Sayid all seem vulnerable right now.

Claire or Charlie: Charlie's death is in flux, and I see any situation where he could die as involving both of them. I don't include Des because I like to think they're going to do more with his character, or at least save his death for when Penny is closer proximity to heighten the angst.

Jin: He's a cool character but I don't know what else they can reveal about his back story.

Sayid: Same reason as Jin, though his technical expertise can always be worked into a plot.

Sawyer: I've been convinced since Tale of Two Cities that he will do a "far, far better thing" and sacrifice himself to save Kate's life. I'd be sad to see him go, but it would screw Kate up royally, and put final nail in his "scoundrel" persona. And I don't know what else they can show us about his back story.

I think Claire will die. Charlie is just a red herring. In each of the times Charlie was supposed to have died, Claire was just as, if not even more vulnerable to death at the same time, (drowning, lightning, or falling against the rocks). But then again, Charlie seems like he's pretty screwed as well.

I dont want anyone to die execpt Juliet because she is just evil, to bad Paulo isnt on there

Charlie. I doubt it's a red herring. If you say that, it must mean Desmond is a total idiot, because there's a big difference between Charlie and Claire dying. I think he'd know which one will die. ((I also find it a bit odd that the one who he says is going to die is the one whose past he kinda messed with in FBYE.))

I'd say Sawyer or Charlie. Although I could see them saving Charlie for a situation where Desmond must choose between saving Charlie's life or someone else's life (like Penny). Sawyer I think will die trying to save Kate. Maybe not this season, but I can't see how long they can keep the whole love triangle thing up, especially since there are many people who are not happy with it.

I voted Juliet. The recent fatality rate in Otherville has been horrific.

I wouldn't mind Jack, Kate or Juliet dying but I don't they will.

I think Claire is safe via Aaron and with the new revelation that she's Jack's sister, I can't really see them killing her off.

I would say Desmond has a good chance to be killed off but he has such a big fan base so the writers might keep him on for that.

I think Sun, Jin and Hurley are pretty much safe. Sun and Jin are tied to the pregnancy storyline and I don't think that will change and Hurley is comic relief.

Sawyer & Locke - too popular to die.

I do think if someone was to die it would be either Charlie, Sayid or Ben. Just because anybody can step in and be higher than Ben in the hierarchy of the others and then Ben would be deemed useless in a way.

Charlie & Sayid are the most expendable out of the original cast. These too are my favourite male characters and I don't want either to die, I just think out of all the originals left they are up in the top half on the list of people that will die.

As much as it hurts me to say it, I think Sayid could die soon. I really hope I'm wrong. I also said Jin because...well, it jut seems likely for some reason.

If I'm lucky, Sawyer will die. Then the last thing I liked about the show (and not even what I liked best about it) will be gone and I'll be able to quit watching.

I voted for a few characters that might be likely. I think that the Desmond, Charlie, Claire thing is still not resolved and I am not entirely convinced that it will be Charlie dying. Afterall, Desmond saw him dying only to help Claire. Maybe Claire is also fated to die, but Desmond ins't in tune to her future. Another possibility is that Desmond sacrifices himself to save Charlie.

I also think that is would be really poignant to have Juliet killed off. She has been a prisoner for a really long time and I think that it would wonderuflly tragic that she never gets to go back and she see sister. A good twist would be her sacrificing herself so that one of the Losties got to live to see another day.

I hope nobody else gets killed off this season! I voted for Charlie because of Desmond's visions but I hope he finds a way to get himself out of that mess. I like all of the characters right now. Nikki or Paolo may die but I don't think I will be too impacted by that since I'm not at all attached to them yet. I hope the writers feel they have established the sense of real danger that they need and don't have to kill off more people to confirm it. I still find myself thinking that the show would be better if Boone and Shannon were still here and I don't want to have to feel that way about any other characters. I understand that some people are tired of the love triangle aspect of the show but I don't think any of the main heroes should die. I'm not tired of it yet but killing off a main character would make me feel like the three seasons of building up their characters and backstories would have been wasted. I'd like to still think that each character is building towards something and may be tested near the end of the series to show their growth and accomplishments.

Charlie. I predicted that he would die before this season even started. He just seemed to have outlived his usefulness. He's an ex druggy musician. He makes sarcastic remarks. We get it. And now with this Desmond business, well... I can't say I have much hope for Mr. Pace living to breathe the fresh air of Season 4.

No offense to Charlie and his fans. I liked him in season one, I just think his story has been told already.

It's also not looking good for Jin and Sayid in the not too distant future.

I'm gonna have to vote for Charlie. It's not that I hate him. The character is great and well development.

Oh, yes, I would be traumatized if they killed Sayid, but the way they've been treating his character lately is starting to scare me. However, they don't seem to be killing people off until they've found some sort of redemption, which he hasn't. Hopefully that'll save him for a bit longer. ;)

I am always saying I wish they wouldn't kill off any original cast members until the last season. that way we wouldn't have to worry about any of them leaving us anytime soon!!

I have a feeling it'll be Juliet. We haven't seen much of her and flashbacks of her either. I believe she might make a sacrifice for Jack to escape. I think she will be the one that dies towards the end. Sadly. (starting to like her)

Juliet, somehow connected to her being on the island against her will. Etiher by accident or getting killed by some of the Others (not Ben, though, not his style).
Desmond (though I WISH it doesn't happen) in an attempt to save Charlie. I don't think Charlie will die, because I think that it has ben mentioned so often by now, everybody is only waiting for that to happen.

Im thinking either Charlie or Claire
