Well, she didn't know that. Our losties always assume the Others have the worst of intentions. As I recall, someone did take shots at her right after and other Others were shooting at her husband and Sayid. They have killed people before, she probably assumed they were about to do it again.

I just cant stand the lil spoilt rich girl, ok right so Jin has kinda an old fashioned traditional Korean ways about him in some respects but he is trying to become more understanding for her, he nearly does everything for her and deep inside he is a moral man (he only did the dark stuff for her dad, because of HER!!).
But she never backs him, has cheated on him, and is carrying another man's baby (and even lied to Jin bout something so important).

I think a few posters in this thread need to take this post to heart. This thread is for not liking the character not bashing the actress or her physical characteristics. I have removed the posts and parts of the posts that pick on the actress and her physical characteristics and not the character.

For spilling her coffee on Jin at the airport rather than the racist American couple sitting behind them making prejudiced remarks.
