So, we find Locke's father in a store room in Otherville. He's tied up and at somebodies mercy.
What I'm wondering is: Is he part of Ben's master plan? If so, what part? If Locke's Father is the true Sawyer, what's going to happen when our lovable John , er, Sawyer finds out? He's swarn to kill the guy on site? You KNOW Ben knows the back story.
So, what's the play here?
We've seen that the island is a place for resolution. How do you guys see this development resolve itself?

Ooooh! I've been wondering about this as well. Surely it won't be a punch-fest... although that's the first thing to come to mind... my guess is Locke will somehow avenge the situation and Sawyer (James) will find out about it when it's too late and he will have no opportunity to avenge the wrongs done to him and he will continue to live an unresolved life.

Ben wants Cooper on the island, because Cooper is the source of Locke's weaknesses. Locke didn't conjure up Cooper; Ben did. Cooper is just as manipulative as Ben. Cooper's presence will unnerve Locke and make him "weak" again. It will bring up old insecurities and self-pity. How will Ben use this to his advantage? When all is said and done though, I bet Locke will put an end to Cooper. How Sawyer will figure into this is beyond me. But I hope he does get wind of it.

No, it's not official. Just highly probable.
What Locke wants most is for his father to love him.
But I don't think even the island can do that for him.

No, not official, but it's been implied a couple of times. Last season, Locke (via the writers) teased us by asking why Sawyer went by that name, he thought that it was "Interesting".
Plus, this is a show that has managed to link characters to eachother time and time again. Sawyer to Jack's father, Jack and Claire, Hurley owning the Box company Locke worked for and Sayid with Kelvin and then Kate's father.
It's not a big reach at this point.

The biggest punishment for Cooper would be if he was to experience all the (emotional) pain that he has caused people throughout his miserable, parasitic little life.
It would be wonderful if the island could work it's magic on him in that respect.
