We had a lot of those in high school--guys who dressed, spoke, and acted like they were from South Central LA or something. I wanted to scream at them "Dude--you're white, you live in suburban New England, and your father is a lawyer--stop acting like an idiot!" (although I did go through a bit of a "grunge" phase at one point, so maybe I shouldn't throw stones. :laugh:)

That said, I still have to go with mosquitos--we had to use mosquito nets back in my Girl Scout days, and they were horrible!

What on earth is Mystery Science Theater 3000?

It's this TV show on the Sci-Fi channel....where there is this guy, and like a couple robots who watch crappy old movies...and talk all during it and make fun of it and yell at the TV....you know. It's funny.

It was on Comedy Central back in the day. It has quite a cult following, with good reason--it's VERY funny.

This is a show about an evil experiment where a guy is trapped on a satellite and is forced to watch bad films. He is foreced to do this by Mad Scientists, who wand to find a movie so bad that they can inflict it on the world and take over. We see the movie with the subjects (Joel or Mike) and their robot pals Crow and Servo, in sillouette at the bottom of the screen making jokes and wisecracks during the movie.

A friend of ours made this really bad sci-fi type movie called "In the Woods". I really wish they would use it t for a Mystery Science show. It would be hilarious. It's truely horrible.

Don't get me started on the chav scum that infest this earth...

When I was studying in England, I had such a hard time using British spellings. Took me forever to get used to it. I eventually did, but then it took me the same amount of time to switch back once I returned to the US! However, I am proud to say I did not fall into the trap of speaking with a half-British accent, a la Madonna.

I hate Misquitos!! I see no point in those little buggers (;)). I used to get bug bites all the time during summer but lately it hasn't been as bad. If I lived in a perfect world, I'd make sure those things didn't exist. :P
