This weeks episode Exposé - Nikki and Paulo centric...rate and discuss! :biggrin:

Fabulous episode!! I gave it a 9 - again. We finally got to know exactly who Nicki and Paolo were......but the idea of them being buried alive left me feeling awful, although I spose you could say its the islands revenge! The spider thing was totally awesome - but I guess you could say it was "just deserts" for the Nasty Nicki :ohwell:

Im soooo pleased Charlie fessed up to Sun, even though Sawyer took the slap for it, it made me think that Charlie really does want to be a nice guy and has finally turned the corner on his demons. Weird, but great to see Shannon and Boone again even if only very briefly. All in all I like the way this episode was "self contained" - we got the plot and the ending all in the one session! And everyone at the beach was included, and the crash scenes from a different persons angle were very good.

Just left hoping that next week we get to find out whats happened to everyone else post-submarine blowing up!!

Great episode - so much better than I anticipated!

It was a fun episode from a Pikki POV, but it's all the little extras relating to the main plot that did it for me. I felt that it gave us a few answers, without posing any new questions, and it clarified a lot of things, too.

When this episode started, i thought oh no this is going to be dull !, but was pleasantly suprised. Loved all the flashbacks and seeing characters, eg shannon, boone & ethan once more and thought it was good how all the scenes were fitted in with original scenes from series 1 & 2. :biggrin:

The rather sinister ending did give me the creeps though !!. :eek:

I liked it..... despite Pikki. I was thinking I was going to hate it cause, god they took to me like something nasty. Couldn't stand them, but I enjoyed the episode all round really. Freaky ending with them being buried alive...the writers really aren't afraid to hit the phobias. LOVED seeing season one and season two from a different view, and ........BOONE! SHANNON! AND ARZT!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!! Ha, that made me happy.

Oh and can I just point out that we have an accent on our Exposé.... *feels good* Hee! *wanders off* :laughing:

It was a bit of a 'meh' for me, I have to admit.

Nikki and Paolo's story just didn't particularly interest me. I liked the initial twist in the first flashback when they poisoned 'Nikki's boyfriend' but after that, I had a hard time getting excited about them trying to find the diamonds, then concealing them. However, I did think the ending was pretty cool where we realised that what Nikki had said was 'paralysed' and watch them get buried alive :biggrin:

The parts that I enjoyed the most were those that featured Boone, Shannon, Artz and Ethan (Ethan especially!)- getting to see them all again was a very pleasant surprise!

I knew that I wouldn't love this episode as much as last week's as it had a hell of a lot to live up to but apart from Charlie's confession to Sun (and unless the paralysing spiders have a big part to play in the future!), I don't think the episode really did much to further the storyline.

Thought it was good, gave it an 8.

All the way through, though, I was thinking "Hmm, those people who complain about Nikki and Paulo will love this epi, since they are being buried alive!"

My feelings about are Nikki and Paulo - ambivalent. I neither like them nor dislike them. I thought they were kind of 'thrown' into the show, but I don't really have anything against them.

good episode i gave it a 8 realy liked the flashback. My god Nikki was hot!!.
and by the way you did a mistake on the title it's episode 3.14 not 3.13 that was last weeks episode the locke flashback one. RIP Nikki and Paulo

Think it was a great episode good with all of the jokes about 'you know what happens to guest stars ...'. The spider part made me twitch a little bit its got to be the worst death the island can serve up really getting bit by spiders and then buried alive, two phobias in one.

Im not sure if im very positive about the Charlie telling Sun thing because it seems like hes making peace with his demons when we want character conflict so he can be alive at the end of the season!

Must say I was extremely disappointed in this episode. I have never thought badly of an episode before but just taken it as it came. i feel this epi was some type of space filler, as if the writers had some type of block and needed something to fill a space. This waas definately not planned from the start, it seemed so out if place.
