My favorite hugs at the reunion scene, in descending order:

1. Jack & Sawyer
2. Sawyer & Kate
3. Jack & Hurley

Honorable mention: Sayid & Sun, because the first time I watched it I was all "wtf why did no one hug Sayid?", then rewinded again (thanks Tivo!) and caught it, to my relief.

I liked the Jack/Sawyer hug the best. That was cool.

I physically applauded the Jacker hug. I hope those two will start working together, with Jack's confidence and Sawyer ingenuity, they would be quite a powerful leadership team.

I loved both the Sawyer/Jack hug and the Jack/Hurley hug.

That whole scene was just great. I loved it.

My favorite was the Jack and Sawyer, just because I didn't see it coming. I mean everybody was happy, then Sawyer and Jack come up, stop themselves from being too excited, and then give in anyway.

I know the J/S hug was so cute, the way they were so ... "we don't really like each other" then, "aw, what the hell, glad to see ya again." The obligatory male slap on the back. Almost brought a tear to me eye.

And Kate and Hurley. That was just adorable. The castmembers have such chemistry and such a connection with each other.

The way Sawyer put his hand on the back of Kate's head? Best hug ever.

Have to put the Kate/Sawyer hug first. Lots of emotion in that one, and both of them looked like they never wanted to let the other go. Very sweet. :in love:

After that, it's a toss up because we had a hugapalooza going on there. :biggrin:

3) Sawyer/Jack - unexpected, but perfectly played... sincere but awkward

I know. I don't know why exactly, but that small gesture just seemed so poignant to me. Sometimes it seems like everything on TV is built around sex and when you see a tender moment like that, it's really nice.
