Both have been on the island for three years.

Who knows, but thanks for pointing out this little tidbit. It may or may not play out...

I think that's a good guess.

Did anybody notice that Juliet arrived on 9-11-01???

If you look at the newspaper shown, before Juliet sees her sister and Julian,...the date is September 11, 2004.

Juliet said she arrived approximately three years ago,...I wonder if it was 911?

I'll have to double check that on my DVR.

Actually the date on the newspaper is September 22, the day Oceanic 815 crashed.

In "Not in Portland", which took place on December 3, 2004, Juliet said she's been on the island for "three years, two months, and 28 days." That dates her arrival on the island to September 5, 2001.

i'm pretty sure the date was sept 22, 2004 not sept 11 because it was the day of the plane crash. anyone got a screen cap?

I used to think the island was still "open" (for Juliet's arrival) and Desmond accidentaly crashed. It was part of his fate. Now I'm thinking Widmore pulled some strings to keep Desmond far away from his daughter.
