I'm a long time visitor and first time poster to The Fuselage.

My question,
Was that Michael we saw in the Sub when Juliet landed on the island. From behind it looked like him. If it was him, what is he doing on the sub?

Does someone have screen capture of the scene right before Juliet is about to leave the Sub? The camera pans at two people sitting down, the one I think is Michael is the one who's back is facing the camera.

Just wondering,

Juliet arrived three years prior to the crash...wasn't Michael in the hospital around this time or am I off on my timeline...?

I also thought the same thing! He was at a table with another guy. I don't have a screen capture but I would like to see one.

A coworker said he didn't think it was him, so I'm glad to see I'm not the only one.

Keep in mind...there is an Other that people swear is Michael that keeps popping up in scenes...during the mini arc it was thought Michael was one of the guards taking Jack away when he was hooded...I think it is just another way for the producers to make us think...like Penny looking so much like Jules...there has been a lot of screen caps on him but no real evidence...I think it is slight of hand. Remember there is an Other that looks like Christian somewhere also.

I don't think it could be Michael, cause of the timeline issues, but I too noticed that quick shot of other people on the submarine. I wondered if there was any significance to those people since the camera went on and off them so quickly.. I'd be interested in knowing if anyone recognized them. Then again, could be nothing, but its worth looking into.

Harold Perrineau has not been signed on for more Lost episodes. So it's not Michael.

I kind of giggled when I saw this post, because the Michael look alike was thought to be Michael back in season 2 as well.. So no, it's not him, but can look like him if flashed on the screen for a second or two.

There is a much simpler TV expanation for the lookalikes...they are the Losties stunt doubles. Thats not a guess. Sawyers double has also been in some of the others camp scenes.

Just to be crazy....its obviously not michael, although he does look similar to him, even has some tiny dreads in his hair like mike. but just to spark debate.....what if its a grown up version of walt.......i only say that because of richard alperts "you wont believe how fast time flys on the island." comment. probably wrong, but theres nothing wrong with theorizing on a theory board.

YEah...I thought it was him at first. My wife gave me the heavy sigh with the rolled eys when I rewound the scene to see if it was him or not....

haven't we been over this before in the miniseason? there is an other who is black and has short dreads, so every time he makes an appearance, people ask whether that was michael. it obviously not him, but most likely his stunt double that they have kept around. plus, he adds a little diversity to the others, who seem to be lacking in that category, as opposed to the losties.
