I'm sure that Ben wouldn't object to Juliet's urgency in finding a solution for this little problem with procreation on the island! That would be convenient for him.

I will say that showing she and Goodwin together, even for face value, was a pretty cool little thing to know. I'm glad to know she was getting some loving from someone other than Ben!

Hmmm... I suppose it's possible that Juliet is pregnant, but I think pretty unlikely. She, better than anyone, knows what happens to women who conceive on the island, and I don't think she would put herself in that situation. She clearly wants to get off the island desperately, and I think that would be motivation enough for her to do the very best work she can, so a threat to her life wouldn't really be necessary. And I don't think Ben would want anything to happen to Juliet either - then who would he have to work on their pregnancy=death problem?

I think the revelation of Juliet and Goodwin's relationship does show an interesting new angle on Juliet's possible motivations, given that Goodwin was killed by Ana Lucia. Obviously AL is dead so Juliet can't seek revenge against her, but remember the intense hatred Sayid felt for the Others after Shannon died? I wonder if Juliet might deep down be harboring the same resentment toward our Losties.

But Goodwin died - what? three months ago? - she would be starting to show. And hopefully not doing matial arts!

I woud think, having the fertilty background that she does, and having discovered that "it happens at conception" that she would have been very careful not to get pregnant.

I don't think Juliet is pregnant. 1) There either are or have been enough pregnancies for the show already, 2) knowing the dangers associated with being pregnant on the island, Juliet would take preventative measures, and 3) she was on the island for 3 years, it only makes sense she would be having sex with someone and we were shown Goodwyn to establish that it wasn't Ben (since we were previously told they "had a history").

I would say that it would be a very good twist. And about her not showing...Well, Sun isn't showing either...And I believe that Jin is not the father....

Like stated in one of the responses: I think the fact that Juliette was begging Ben to leave the island right after she was in bed with Goodwin saids enough.

But I can see how it can be a really big motivation to get Juliette off the island...or find a cure.
