How long does it take to shoot one episode?

Does it depend on what is happening within the episode?

hi learntofly -

the episodes are shot in regular intervals of eight business days - no ifs ands or buts. every eight days a script is being filmed and the next one is being "prepped" so there are always two directors at work, one filming, one scouting locations and working with the crew to make sure everything is in place for the following one.
