Sorry I didn't see the thread already going on this subject.

there was some monster thread about that. Someone asked "why doesnt Sun have an abortion". I am thinking the lack of abortion clinics on the island might be the answer.

And dont even begin to think that the Others will help her with that. Juliet is far too interested in the pregnancy to allow it. I guess Jack could advise but honestly I dont see anyone on that island supporting the decision for an abortion and even if they did, outside of the Others, there wouldnt be an appropriate facility.

Additionally I dont imagine that ABC wants to be known as the baby killer network. An abortion would not be well received by a large number of viewers (and even non-viewers). Politically speaking, such an episode would bring the network a lot of heat and spark an enraged debate. With that in mind I fully expect Sun to carry this baby to term.
