Did anyone who watched the scene notice the window seemed to break in-not out. What came in the window?

How else would they break the window in that scene? It was probably one of the staff breaking the window from outside the shack.

There doesn't have to be anything coming in the window, it could have been broken inwards by a pressure differential (i.e. a vacuum inside the hut).
