I noticed upon further reflection that there is one large segment of the population who are missing from the current cast of lost.
No one is wearing any form of glasses. Take a look around you, at least 50% of the people you meet will have some form of lenses (glasses or contacts).
Am I mistaken? I can't think of seeing anyone yet wearing glasses (or sunglasses).

In the main character cast, you're right.
But in Solitary, the hypochondriac guy - rash guy - whatever his name is - he's wearing glasses.

I do not wear contact lenses but I am sure the solution will run out. Let's say the person brought two bottles or whatever with him or her, how long would this last?
Two bottles of solution usually last me 6 months. Although I wear disposable lenses and replace them every few weeks.
I just found it was interesting that none of the people on the plane wear glasses, and most don't wear sunglasses. After spending several summers outdoors as a camp counselor, most of us had tanned squint lines around our eyes (we weren't allowed to wear sunglasses). I don't know anyone who doesn't own at least one pair of sunglasses, and I live in Canada, not a place known for lots of sun.
Just another rathole to chase...

my big bottle lasts me a LONG time... but I only change my lenses once a month (long wearing)
and maybe it's not as bright as we think... :lol2:

Sawyer did wear sunglasses at one point, but I see where you are coming from.
I've often thought about the glasses situation while watching Survivor too. That's the reason I could never be on Survivor, I wear contacts and hate wearing my glasses. Plus glasses are a pain in the butt in regular life, imagine on an island, they'd be worse.
(Yeah, thats why I can't be on Survivor!... contacts :lol2:...)
