Do you guys know of any actors and actresses who have never taken acting classes? I'm pretty sure Evangeline Lilly hasn't taken any (cause of what she said on Leno) and from what I have heard, Ashton Kutcher hasn't taken any either (correct me if I'm wrong). Know of any more? Thanks.

I know who HAS. Ewan McGregor and Orlando Bloom and Naveen Andrews.. They all went to the same prestigious British drama school. Guidlhall.

I know that Eric Bana is a self-taught actor. I personally think he's a good actor -- check out Black Hawk Down.

And, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think that Johnny Depp has taken any classes. As far as I remember his first wife introduced him to Nicholas Cage and his agent who got him a job on 21 Jumpstreet.

Actually, Eric Bana was the best thing about Troy, IMO. Brad Pitt was just obnoxious, but that might've been Achilles' personality. And Orlando Bloom was good to look at ;), but people made too much fun of him. :lol2: Not his fault his character was a wimp...

I saw that interview with Evie on Leno. Yeah, I don't think she took classes either. But she's a great actress!

Never knew that about Johnny Depp. Wasn't a big fan of his - had seen him in movies but wouldn't go to see a movie just cause he was in it- THEN I saw Pirates of the Caribbean and he absolutely blew me away. He was great in that! Now, I can't wait to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Had heard it was a re-make of Willy Wonka but after seeing the full title (haven't seen a preview yet) I'm thinking Johnny is Charlie (kid from WW who 'won' the factory) and we'll see what's become of the factory now that he is running it. Does anyone know if I'm right about that? Definitely plan to go see it !!!

It is somewhat a remake of Willy Wonka.....but it is more true to the book. Also, there is a musical called "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"

Speaking of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I can not wait to see the movie! I saw trailers online and it looks great! I can not wait to see the chocolate pond and that whole scene's set. I'd love to tour that factory. :D
