Hello everyone I was just wondering if anyone knew if there were any conventions or meetings coming up in 2007 for Lost. I mean are there ANY type of events coming up where the cast and writers might be at to talk about the show? I don't know where it was last year or what it was called, but what was the event where the cast and crew were all with eachother on stage with microphones talking about the show? Any idea? and any idea when and where this will happen again? Thanks so much.

Well, two years ago the cast and crew did the Paley Festival, which is sponsored by the Museum of TV and Radio, which actually just changed it's name. Then this past year they were at some similar type event in Studio City, but I don't remember who sponsored that. Damon was recently at the Museum of TV and Radio (just before they changed their name to the Paley Center) doing a panel about Muslims and Islam as portrayed on TV.

These are considered professional events, held here in the Los Angeles area. But the cast and crew have been known to do other events as well, that being science fiction conventions.

Cast and Crew have gone to San Diego Comic Con the past three years and they will be back again this July. It's usually Damon, Carlton and Bryan Burk, along with 2 or 3 cast members and a writer or two. I have no idea who they will have back again this year, but they are scheduled to be there on Friday. Creation did a Lost convention, but it was not well attended, probably due to the fact they only announced it about 5 weeks before it happened.

DragonCon is another big convention that Lost tends to have some visibility at, just not sure if anyone will be going because it's actually during their filming schedule.

Paying attention to some of the big science fiction and genre based conventions is probably your best bet. Or you could stay tuned to this site for the Lost Weekend sequel, which will be some form of Lost Fan gathering to raise money for charity and invite loads of the actors, writers and producers, and have them actually show up.
