Is there more to it (Jacob and the Losties) than meets the eye (silly question)? Would Jacob consider the Losties his "children", kind of like how he considers the Others his children? Where I'm going isn't an old path...down the pathway to the question, "Do the Losties have a connection to the Island that comes from before the crash of flight 815?"

Karl also babbled about Jacob while on the paddle boat (?) with Sawyer and Kate.

I'm thinking when I rewatch S3... I think to keep Jacob in the back of my mind... especially since he made the cover...

Well, I think that there is a connection of some kind between him and the Losties - don't know what, though...something about him makes me think that he's a big connecting piece of the puzzle, that he could answer a lot of the Losties' questions and our questions...

I'm thinking Linderman, if anyone has watched Heroes. Unless of course, Jacob is just an invisible man in an old hut in the middle of the jungle.
