Let me see, I guess I started watching Lost for two reasons 1. The JJ Abrams connection and* *2. the Lord of the Rings connection.* Not specifically because I was a Dominic fangirl.* (I would deny being a fangirl of anyone’s except for maybe writing assistant Matt aka Raggs)

I'm not going to say how old I am as it is a woman’s prerogative not to tell or at the very least to lie about it. I’ve lived on both coasts but currently reside in Upstate New York just a quick trip to the wonderlands of NYC and Boston.* I'm a Virgo, although I don’t hold much stock in astrology.*

I am brand new to the world of TV fandom.* I have however been for many years a huge and active fan of the Impressions Games “City Building Series”** If you want some smart gaming entertainment check them out.

I have recently moved and discovered that we do not get cable TV here and the reception for ABC sucks.* With that said I drive 30 miles one way and cross into another state (Massachusetts) to watch the show with my sister and 2 ½ year old nephew.*


What do I like?

I love sports a lot mostly watching them these days but in my other life I played on several teams in high school and did the intramural thing in college.* I learned to fence in college (okay just the basics of one semester) but I really really want to get back into fencing.
I love King of the Hill but never really was interested in Bevis and Butthead.* I am a die-hard follower of all the CSI’s and NCIS.* I love the Amazing Race (would love to go on the race but nobody I know can or wants to).* I can’t wait for Alias to come back on!* *I would never admit to watching Big Brother or Survivor (guilty pleasure).* I must confess that I have watched all of the stuff on extended DVD’s of The Fellowship of the Ring and the Two Towers.* I'm really looking forward to a snowy day sometime in the near future (after the extended Return of the King is released) so that I can justify spending an entire day watching all three extended at once.* Yes I know I'm such a freak.* I will need a box of tissues for RotK as I cry during the whole movie.*
I'm just that sensitive.* After all I was the kid in my family who cried every week during Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom because some poor weak animal always got munched.* I think it goes with out saying that I am HUGE into Lost!* ;D

Oh yeah some not necessarily important stuff:
I have a BS in Political Science and Communications(concentration in Public Relations) from the State University of New York (aka SUNY)
I'm single
No kids
The oldest of 4 children
Have a huge extended family (something like 50 first cousins)
Failed at a lot of things I have tried but I keep trying them anyway
I am an optimist
There are moments of brilliance nestled between the ordinary
Loves to write just for the sake of writing
I'm a perfectionist
