The figure is hooded - just like the figure in the window at Jacob's cabin.

I thought the figure at the police station was Charlie, it was my first thought seeing it. Dont know, the figure in the window had dark eyes from what I could see on my non-HD tv...anyone have screen shots in HD

Yeah, I first thought of Charlie because of the water, but then I assumed it was Dave. Until Charlie came to Santa Rosa, that is.

ETA: Wait, his hand said that? Wow.... "FATE" "LATE" "NOT PENNY'S BOAT". Charlie had some major writing on the hand in Lost. I had never thought of that until now.... wow.

So glad you had this, we just watched this frame by frame and could not figure out what was on Charlie's hand!
