Mine's a Hurley quote (duh! *facepalm*) taken from the scene where the castaways are searching the wreckage for antibiotics, and he suggests they let Vincent help because 'they use dogs to sniff for pot and bombs...'

oops, forgot i didn't add 19 to this one......lol :lol2:

great question. i always wonder that myself!

Of course, it made me think of the Canadian Border - if it ain't pot, its bombs.

Heh...yeah, Sabrina.* I'm Canadian, so...well, yeah.* You nailed it.* *Smoke ring*

Also I have this tendency to crack really, really bad jokes.* So that's where the 'bombs' part comes in, I guess. :lol2:

Mine is easy enough to explain. I have a pet wolf and 2 dogs.

Tari Luinwe
11-25-2004, 04:31 PM
I'm a huge LOTR fan. And if I had to pick a race from Middle Earth I would chose the Elves. So I found a name generator and my name in Elvish is Tari Luinwe. So there ya go, now you know!

Karrie
11-25-2004, 05:45 PM
Mine is my name.

But I also go by "ewwgirlgerms" (I used to own girlgerms.org but I don't anymore so I'm trying to get away from that) or "tabascopants" (after the tabasco pajama pants that I bought because of my obsession with Roswell) in some places.

LostSerenity

mine is a homage to my 2 newest fandoms...Lost and Firefly (Serenity is the name of their ship, and also the name of the *sob* movie that has been *sob* delayed)

cashmere lady
11-25-2004, 06:56 PM
My nickname is what I have been going by in the web-world since I don't remember when.*
The only thing... it is usually "кашемировая" which means cashmere. It all started out when I decided to join a web-club of crazy poets and had to write a short poem to be admitted.* Well, somewhere there I referred to myself, as "the girl in a cashmere coat."* Because that was too long, users on that website transformed me into shorter and more caring "cashmere."

11-25-2004, 07:07 PM
My name is just the first thing that came to mind.

I'm a huge LOTR fan. And if I had to pick a race from Middle Earth I would chose the Elves. So I found a name generator and my name in Elvish is Tari Luinwe

Could you direct me to this name generator?

thanks

one day I got sick of my real name so i asked people to give me a new one (i have namechangearamaitis) and my dear good friend Jesyca named me Varda, which means The Exalted in Elvish. Varda is one of the Valar, and it is a lovely name.

Sleestak
11-26-2004, 01:42 AM
Sleestak were creatures in a Saturday morning show in the mid 70's called Land of the Lost by Sid and Marty Krofft. The Sleestak chased after the main characters. The "monster" on Lost and the title made me think of Land of the Lost and the Sleestak.

I found something interesting while looking to see when Land of the Lost actually aired. The Sleestak leader in season 3 was played by someone named Jon Locke. http://www.landofthelost.com/cast.htm

Hmmmm....

That? Rocks like Driveshaft.

My username is the name of a =w= song.. trying to diversify all the names I've been using. Joining 3 board is 2 days? Crazy? Noooo.... ;D

~Lexi~
11-26-2004, 03:08 AM
Mine's easy.. it's my name... I would just put Lexi, but a lot of boards it's already taken. So if the board lets me I add the ~'s (Which is how I always sign my name... don't ask me why) and it works... if I can't I add dsm, which stands for Dominic Skyler Milton which was my writing alias in school.. still use it sometimes if I post something somewhere that's a lil risque and I don't want them to know it's me.

Arista
11-26-2004, 07:58 AM
I don't remember exactly where or how my name originated, but I use it everywhere so that people from other fandoms can recognize me.* Sometimes I'll add a "2525" to the end of it as a shout-out to the defunct television series "Cleopatra 2525" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0206476/) (if you blinked, you probably missed it when it was on TV).

I am afraid mine is not nearly as funny or cool as others, but it's the name of my LiveJournal and it's what I've been using on the Internet for a couple of years! It's a nickname my mom uses for me from time to time (I believe i'm the only one in the world who has that nickname!) ! A small change from Gabrielle!

I'm always leery of using my real name on the web. (I guess I'm just suspicious by nature!) When I joined this board I just used the first thing that came into my head. Kate Jones was Sidney's alias in the pilot of Alias. (which is my other favorite show) It's my homage to JJ. :)

FoxFan
11-26-2004, 07:56 PM
Thanks for starting this thread, Sabrina. What fun!!

OK, ya'll probably think I'm just a crazy Matthew Fox fangirl, but that's not completely true.

Fox is actually my last name (I traded up when I got married). I usually just go by Fox on other boards, but didn't want any confusion if/when/please the actor posted. So the fan part just refers to me being a fan of the show (big surprise there . . . I know).

pikameta
11-26-2004, 09:08 PM
I used to be into Pokemon way back in the day (before it became a hit in America) and I combined the name Pikachu (my fave character) with my name- Meta, and I've just used it ever since... it's my user name on almost everything... Once I had my 1st son I've used "metaisamommy" (my AOL name for instance) but sometimes that's just too long...

so if you see either Meta-is-a-mommy or Pikameta- That's ME! (and if you see it and it's not me- LET ME KNOW!! lol! ) :lol2:

:) Meta

Merry
11-27-2004, 02:18 PM
Well I'm a huge LotR fan... and one day with other LotR-obsessed friends we started giving nicknames to each other... so I'm "Merry", which is great as my favorite Middle-Earth race is Hobbits and Merry and Pippin have been my favorite characters ever since the first time I read the book. And my friends are Gandalf, Frodo, Pippin and Aragorn...
So it's my nickname in real life...

Goofeesnax
11-27-2004, 02:37 PM
Waaayyyyyyy the f___k back in '94 around the time of AOL 2.0 or something my friend was teaching me the ropes on chatrooms and net surfing and what not. We'd just gotten a pc in the house and it had EIGHT MEGS of COMPUTING POWER! *the mind reels*. He was telling me about nmaking a mame up out of something that would stick in my mind because at the time they didn't have the Remember Your Screen name option.

He was tossing wrods around as examples and the ones that stucjk out the most ajnd made me laugh the hardest were "Romancow" and "Goofy Snacks". I countered with "Avocado Elephant" and "Satan'sPimp" but Goofy snacks won out as the silliest. When i joined AOL no one had the name and every chat room I went into people loved it and started making all these lame Scooby jokes but each time I would re-eneter I was remembered so I figured "keep it, its memorable".

I left AOL for six months and re-joined and I was GoofySnacks111477 or some thing like that so I had to re-invent it because I didn't want to give it up as so many people knew it by then and here we are ten years later. Now I have clients contacting me for artwork (on their first calls) laughing as they ask for "guh...goof...goof-ee-snacks?" It doesn't happen all the time but when it does the job usually goes much smoother because the negotiations for money and artwork started out with a laugh.

It makes for a great ice breaker and pretty much sums up my personality.
Now that you know...you are all targeted for termination.

Count down begins in five...four...three...two...hey is that a commercial for The Incredibles?

*re-adjusts cape and cowl*

Now where was I...?

Oh yes...termination...

Listen!* If I went 'round saying I was a 'Nutmae' just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!* * :lol2:

[[Oops! The 'watery tart' bit is a different quote ...]]

I've had the moniker Nutmae forever, though.* When my family first got this wacky thing called 'the internet' on our computer, naturally we went to AOL.* So, when I was picking my name, I immediately thought of Nutmeg, since my name is Meghan and that was one of my nicknames when I was younger.* Obviously, that was taken, and I didn't fancy having a large number at the back of my screenname.* So, I switched "Meg" with "Mae," another of my nicknames.* *That one comes from the game 'Shining Force' for Sega Genesis, I think, and my cousin loved that game around that time and always said the character 'May' reminded him of me.* But 'Mae' was a cooler way to spell it, so ...

*breathes deeply*

Anyway, there's Nutmae in a nutshell, if you will.

SisBoomRah
11-30-2004, 11:55 PM
SisBoomRah -- this is such a silly name. I'd change it now if I could, oh well. XD

I need to go in backwards order for this: Rah is my nickname, short for Sarah. So a lot of people make "Rah Rah Rah" and "Rah Rah Sis Boom Bah" jokes at me... so there you go. SisBoomRah. :) It's also got kind of a double meaning, since I play drums in a marching band and have once or twice been the "Boom Chick."

If I was going to pick a different name, it would either be "KireiSarah," which is the name I've been using for years now on everything, or "Casual Zombie," which is a random recent nickname I just picked up over Halloween. Or "ScotchDrinkinNun!"

BurningStar4

One day a friend called me 'the marvelous matty d" when he was introducing me to a friend of his, and it stuck, I think, because it flows so nicely when you say it. So this is who I be to those who know me well.

MorwenLaicoriel
12-11-2004, 07:19 PM
Morwen Laicoriel is from Tolkien's books. Morwen was a name given to me by a friend, and it means 'Dark Maiden'. I think that name is also a character in the new LOTR game EA made.
I got "Laicoriel" off of a random name generator. I tried to translate it from the glossary in the back of the Silmarillion, so I think it means something like "Lady of the Green Hill". ("Lai" is appearantly from the same root word as "Le"...as in Legolas, which translates into Greenleaf.)

I wanted something with "Lost" in it when I joined here. I am heavily into the LOTR fandom on LJ, but my name there has nothing to do with LOTR! So for this new fandom I wanted a related name.

I picked GetLost because they did "get lost," and because if anyone ever cheeses me off here I can just point to my username. :lol2:

Short version:

"Star" as in Star Trek and "rox" as in Roxette ;D

Longer version:

I needed an AOL screenname back in december 97, but didn't want to use something having to do with my name, so I settled on ST:TNG, one of my favorite TV shows plus my favorite group at that time (well, actually even today) and somehow ended up using that nick basically everywhere...

I actually made it up a long time ago for gaming.* It's pronounced like A. I. (insert joke here).* Artificially intelligent?* Maybe, but NOT old alk31173 - I'm a 71! ;)

IamLOST922
12-15-2004, 11:17 PM
I don't really remember anymore why I picked this one. I used this name when I joined another lost forum. I guess I just liked the sound of it. And, since someone else must of already claimed iamlost, I added 922 to the end cause that was the date it was premeired. I'm a dork, I know.

Nanse
12-16-2004, 06:08 PM
I'm new around town so no worries if my handle doesn't look familiar.

Nanse is the name of a summarian goddess known for being a giver of visions amung other things. I come up with this name when I started on the Farscape Scifi board. My AIM name was already taken. I didn't want to use numbers, wanted something unique, something that was likely to be available on other boards if I chose to go to others, and have it be more than a random name. So a few internet seaches later I found Nanse. It struck a chord and have been using it ever since.

willow
12-16-2004, 06:13 PM
I picked my username cause 'Willow' is for one a pretty name but also my fave character from Buffy TVS and my brother Martin has often said that I'm quite a bit like her, so ... ;)

kristie
12-16-2004, 06:21 PM
cuz my name is Kristie.. used to use various ID's but I realized so many people use my real name at other boards anyway so I might as well start off with it LOL

rathrbLOSTwithDOM
12-16-2004, 10:40 PM
My name was picked for me by a friend of mine. She had linked me to another message board one night and I had wanted to join. Well, my brain had shut down at that moment and I just couldn't think of anything so I asked for her help. I told her I wanted it to be connected to LOST and my fave guy on the show, Charlie. She came up with ratherbelostwithcharlie, which, since it was too big to fit here, I shortened to rathrbLOSTwithDOM. Besides, I wouldn't want to be 'Lost' with anyone else! ;)

tapt
12-17-2004, 12:06 PM
mine's pretty dorky. I figured I'd use lost of some kind, but didn't just want to use "lost" so I found a translator site and translated lost into several different languages. I liked the Norwegian translation best, and that was tapt. So that's the one I went with. I don't know why I didn't use any of my other nics from elsewhere (kya and lady_doc were the two I used the most).

Boooooring. It's kind of a smish of my first and last names--also, I frequently get called "Caren with a C" anyway.

It's the last name of a character (actually a family) in one of my books.

Talking Dreams
12-19-2004, 04:34 AM
I wanted a name that said something about me but not too much. I made a couple of lists of words and then started mixing and matching till I found a combo that could mean more than one thing. It's the only name I use on the Net and I've had it for over six years.

Talking Dreams could mean I talk about my dreams.

Talking Dreams could mean I talk in my dreams.

Talking Dreams could mean my dreams talk to me.

SVDreamer
12-19-2004, 05:08 AM
I have been known as Dreamer since I was 17, a long time ago. It is my C.B. handle. I picked it because it is my dream that we can stop war and hatred and feed all everyone if we just remember we are all one people, the same inside no matter where we were born or what our beliefs are. And my brother wanted to name me Horse Nuts if I didn't come up with a handle fast, and to be know as a horse's nether regions for the rest of my life was just too much!

Medusa
12-19-2004, 01:05 PM
I've always been a bit of a bit of a mythology nut, and the story about Pereus and Medusa was always my favorite. [/lameness]

LATE
12-19-2004, 01:14 PM
First thing that came to mind - I've never been very original with names on boards, so I just thought I'd name myself after what Charlie wrote on his hand.

"LATE"

Of course when he changes it I'll be out of date :) But, ah well.

Lalaith
12-19-2004, 02:55 PM
I'm another one of those Tolkien nuts who first heard about Lost when Dom signed on last spring.

Lalaith is the nickname of a little girl in the Silmarillion who dies very tragically. I've always loved the name. I think it comes from an elvish word for Laughter.

I know, I'm not the funnyest person in the world... but I think of it as more of an approach to life. ;)

My name is a RL nickname.

ennui
12-19-2004, 09:12 PM
I used to mis-pronounce the word ennui all the time (thought it was EN-YOU-EYE; it's really ON-WE). Until I found out the truth, I thought it was the most fantastic sounding word.

Hey O, I'm 19 too!

krz4dom
12-21-2004, 10:29 AM
ive been using krz4____ for a while...back in college, it was krz4greeks on aim and i kept that...
its chaned over the years but its been krz4dom for a while now! :) about a year in fact
but you know, crazy is just normal...krz is like something youwuld put on a licenceplate and short so it works well as a SN and ID :) 4-duh, and then fll in the blank for whatever you are krz 4 THAT day :)
surpisingly enough, ive not had any contention with getting that ID on new forums and such so that works nicely

WhiteSapphire
12-30-2004, 03:56 PM
OK, so I've been on for a little while, and I've been delinquent about this thread. Anyway, I've always like diamonds as gems because fo the fact that they are colorless, but I hate the fact that the De Beers cartel maintains them as an overpriced luxury item. I have some cubic zirconia, but they have a tendancy to look a little plastic. And then someone bought my some white sapphires, and, boy, were they pretty.

Plus, I wanted a username that was distinct, so here I am.

I'm a gem.* ;D

Peacock Spring
12-30-2004, 04:12 PM
Well, I started out posting on the linear board and thought you could just use any name you wanted, so I used LostAndFound. But when I realized I had to register to post on the Threaded board, I realized that the name belonged to someone else.

So I registered with I Heart Lost, but then found that someone else had a version of THAT name and they thought it might be confusing, so....

I switched to Peacock Spring, because it's a movie that Naveen was in, based on a book by Rumer Godden. When I saw it years ago, I fell in love with it, and have been looking for it ever since, but to no avail.....they didn't put it on video. But I thought it was a nice tribute here.

TheStormCellar
12-30-2004, 04:26 PM
It's been my handle for online stuff since I was in college and all my RPG buddies used to come to my apartment to game. They called my apartment, The Storm Cellar, and it just kind of stuck, that no matter where I was, the name followed.

withay
12-30-2004, 09:19 PM
My last name sounds easy to spell (pronounced like the color- white) but is spelled W-H-Y-T-E.
So I've spent my life saying that my last name is White, with a "y". Thus I am withay everywhere. :lol2:

gameoverman

Movie quote, which worked for me since I initially used it to post on comp game messageboards. I lurked here for a while then once I decided to register, I used it for this too.

12-31-2004, 03:52 PM
When I decided to join the Fuselage I wanted to have an ID that showed that I'm a Jack fan without being too obvious, so I decided to use 'The Sheppardess' (plus I like 'Shep' as a nick name ;)).
While registering I wanted to make sure that I spelled his name the right way, but I discovered that every website seems to spell Jack's last name a different way (everything from Shepherd to Shepard), so I just picked one and went with it!

Vynaca
01-02-2005, 02:11 AM
This is the same name I use at another mb I frequent - although not as much these days. Back in early 2002 I joined an LOTR mb and decided to have an "elvish" name created for me by some froufy elf-type website. (I was going through some bizarre Orlando swooning thing - don't ask). It's pronounced Vyn-yay-ca and apparently means "sneaks under". Whatever! LOL!! I figured if I'm to have an online personality I might as well be consistent.

My ID is my name... because truth is stranger than fiction.

After using clever user names for years on the net, I have finally gotten old enough to not really give a rip whether someone knows my real name or not.* With my past user IDs, people always assumed that I was a guy posting, so I thought this time around, I would use my name and post my picture and others would know exactly with whom they are speaking.* :)

PS: IF you are reading this and you have NOT told us why you chose your ID, then please hit the reply button and fulfill your duty to humanity.

That is SOOOOO true. I was the same way. Keep your id a secert. Then I thought, a sercert from who or what. Who cares if some one know my name. Isn't that why we use them.

What's my real name?

I can't tell you that. :-X

strange enough my name was going to be Arkadian Emperer which is a personal code i made for the scourpion king. but i changed it to Arkadian Gypsy because i felt the wanderer aspect was missing from the handle. funny enough i'm not that big into the scourpion king but i didn't want to go with my typical alias Lord Chain.

I guess my name came from my friends..they all know me as a nature lover. I talk about the enviroment all the time. When I'm out walking...I try to remember to bring my camera with me so I don't miss out anything that looks like a picture perfect moment. I just love the outdoors! NWGraecie
01-10-2005, 12:46 AM
NWGraecie came about as my nick name in two ways. My first online RPG game was Everquest (Joined 6 months after initial release). I played a little druid woodelf and I chose Graecie as her name because I liked the show Will & Grace.

I added NW to the Graecie when I started frequenting an adult online webcam community (PM me if you have any additional questions on this). There were already a couple of Grace's of some sort on that site so I couldn't use just plain Graecie so added the NW, which stands for North West Washington State.

Cheshyre
01-10-2005, 02:03 AM
Cheshyre has been my online name since '99. Like the Alice in Wonderland character of the same name (but different spelling), I tend to aggravate situations for my own amusement, see things from a totally different point of view, and stand on my head.

Oddly enough, I've only used this name on message boards. None of my journals or aim names feature this name, but everyone just calls me Chesh all the same.

dingoaction
01-10-2005, 03:07 AM
dingoaction is an abbreviated line of dialogue from an ep of Buffy. *I was grasping at straws to find something that made me smile, and Seth Green'll do it every time. *

It has nothing to do, however, with canine porn, as once was suggested to my horror. *And I don't live in Australia (all for the idea, though)...and the dingoes I saw there (UNSW study abroad)? *spectacularly inactive.

It's a combination of two Hanson songs "Save Me" and "Dying to Be Alive", which = Savemeimdtba :) i've been a Hanson fan since 1997 so the user name has pretty much stuck with me since I made it up all those years ago.

DomSag`

DomSag is short for Domesticated Sagittarius. Sag's are notorious for not wanting to be

suzie
01-11-2005, 02:48 AM
Oh, well, it all started way back in 86', when my mom was preggers and she met some lady named Suzanne.* Instantly inspired by the fortuitous meeting, she felt compelled to name her firstborn- well, onlyborn- Suzanne, which went well with the French surname and of course, would call to mind many great Suzanne's of the past... like Somers... and... well, that's all I can think of right now.* Ultimately, when I was welcomed onto this planet we like to call Earth, Suzanne seemed to much of a name for a sweet little thang like me to go by on a day-to-day basis, and thus, I was monikered Suzie, forever more referenced to all things generic- Suzie Homemaker, Suzie Stretch, Suzie Snowflake... I dig it though.* And, when it comes to theme songs, I jave my pick from 50's standards* like "Wake Up Little Suzie", rock* classics like "Suzie Q" and even a Chinese country Western ditty titled "Tsim Tsai Suzie".*
And, so, the name behind the, uh, legend?... continues....* *

I chose this name because it's my name over at theforce.net, and I was too tired when registering to think of a new one.

welshmuse
01-28-2005, 08:09 PM
Let's see....I picked the "welsh" part because my last name is Welsh and that's where my family came from originally. Plus I spent some time there a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with the country. I was in Cardiff during the 1999 Rugby World Cup and also spent time in a town called Abergavenny. And "muse" is inspiration, and I thought the two sounded cool together.

Sleestak were creatures in a Saturday morning show in the mid 70's called Land of the Lost by Sid and Marty Krofft.* The Sleestak chased after the main characters.* The "monster" on Lost and the title made me think of Land of the Lost and the Sleestak.

I found something interesting while looking to see when Land of the Lost actually aired.* The Sleestak leader in season 3* was played by someone named Jon Locke.* http://www.landofthelost.com/cast.htm*

Hmmmm....

That reminds me of Sigmund the Sea Monster it was on right after Land of the Lost. I loved that show, the portals with the crystals wow that's a blast from the past !

It was a spur of the moment thing, trying to come up with a unique web domain name. No real rhyme or reason. And I've used it all over since then so i don't have to remember different IDs.

Of course, it probably makes people think I'm a spastic nerfbag. *considers inventing a new handle*

You do realize that your screen name shows up as MaggieGraceisHo, instead of MaggieGraceisHott because it's so long. :lol2:

I picked my username for many reasons...

1) I like the letter "g".

2) I have a lot of other usernames on forums that contain the letter "g".

3) Goddard begins with the letter "g".

4) My favorite color is green, and that begins with the letter "g".

...But mainly number 3.

Sadako
02-02-2005, 01:12 PM
Hi Sabrina, great topic!

I chose mine (user ID) from the original version of the movie "The Ring", Ringu.* In it's original Japanese version, the girl who terrifies and kills everybody is called Sadako (Amer. version Samara, I think).* Don't get me wrong: I don't think killing is cool,* nor scaring people, yet I thought the movie and the girl's name are.* * ;)* And I'm not a quarter of an inch Japanese. But I grew a fondness for Asian horror movies, recently.

I even renamed my dog Yoichi, after the protagonist's son, who watched the cursed tape.

That was me and my two cents.

My favorite character in the whole trilogy.
Instead of just calling myself Han Solo, I combined where he is from, and something that Leia called him in Empire Strikes Back.
Am I a scoundrel? That's up to you to find out.

I have other screen names, but I like this one the most.

Mine comes from Sawyer. That's pretty obvious. :lol2:

"Baby, I'm tied to a tree in the jungle of mystery. I just got tortured by a damn spinal surgeon and a Gen-u-wine Iraqi. Of course I'm serious."

*glee* I'm all for the Sawyer/Sayid love.

I loved it when he said that! :lol2: Sawyer's da bomb! :D

I originally came up with this name at the abc Lost message board. 88 stands for the year that I was born in.

well mine is a weird story.
originaly i was The Ladies Man on the linear board
because of the saturday night live character. i spoke with the accent and everything.
but my "roommate" didn't want me on this website for a short time. (apparently i invaded her cyber space ;).) anyway, my usual handle online is lord_chain but i had to be sneaky and design a screenname that was untraceable to my personality. originaly i had chosen islandAssassin but thought that she would figure it out way to quick. then i thought about the scourpion king of all things. in that movie The Rock was The Last Arcadian. and the movie took place in Egypt, which is my heritage. i figured it was obscure enough that she wouldn't notice. so i created ArkadianEmperor but quicly realized that this was a bad idea because the Emperor reference would give me away fast. so i choose Gypsy as a substatution. it was vague enough of a refference to me looking homeless that i could get away with it.

now the funny part.
like a dumba$$ i couldn't hold a secret to save my life so i told her that i had posted on the linear board and she then looked through and picked out my screenname with the quickness. i asked her not to say anything to anyone as to who i was.
but she quickly told speaker almost 3 seconds later and then told Surr a few days later.
so my secret spread very quickly.

but it is an awesome handle so i'm sticking with it and the 12 other versions i came up with for my tv show/movie idea that i'm working on. ;D
so that's where my name came from.

HI!

I've been using reallylikesj for about 5 years now online. At most of my hangouts, people call me rlj.
I have an insane 12 year old girl crush on Jimmy Fallon, and my husband's name starts with J. So, reallylikesj.
Most often I'm asked if the J stands for Jam. I've never figured that out. Or people think it says really like sj. I just like things that start with J...Jimmy, Jerome (my hubby), Jewels, Jumbo-Sized Chocolate Bars... :lol2:

Hi

I chose Crazy Diamond from one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs, Shine on You Crazy Diamond. (btw Pink Floyd is the coolest band ever.) And 44 is what time it was when i registered for this. It was actually 4:44 but I thought three 4's would be too much so i just put two of them on there. Ok enough about 4's and stuff.

leesha
02-07-2005, 04:56 PM
mine comes from the fact that no one can pronounce my name right. *my name is alicia, pronounced a-leesha, but for some odd reason, everybody and their dog (even my dad, my sister, all my aunts and uncles and most of my friends in highschool) pronounced it a-lisha. *then everybody in highschool started to call me lish, then it changed to squish, then to squish-lish. *i HATED those nicknames, mostly because the nicknames were based on the WRONG way to pronounce my name. *finally after highschool, everybody started to call me leesha, and hence, my user i.d. for pretty much everything
