I've been a few. I've never lost or started one though. I was in one today with my cousin.

Physical fight, no. I've thrown out a few verbal bashings, though. Not that they weren't well-deserved... ;D

not really. one time a guy at school and i did a bit of fake-fighting. he was a bit surprised to find i can fight

I've never been in a fist fight but I have been in many verbal fights with my brother and sister. lol I was in one with my bro today! Haha. Sometimes I'm like, "I feel like fighting someone!" Weird, I know...I have a temper and I like to punch things.

Verbal sparing-yes. Fisticuffs-no

Verbal Fights...Yea, all the time, but that's the NY'er in me :)

Physical Fights....Once, unfortunately, but I did win, somehow :lol2:

I have a really bad temper. I get into fights, both verbal and physical, quite often. I don't really get into physical fights so much anymore, though.

Do play fights count? Because I have been in so many of those and won except for the ones against my hubby---I have only won a couple!

Mostly mine have been verbal. I do remember when I was in Jr. high some girl literally picked me up and threw me on the ground. That was not started by me. I also remember my brother hitting me in the back really hard once.

My brother and I were always pounding on each other when we were kids, but then he started getting too strong, and I just learned to run away faster. ;)

I have no clue at all how many I've been in. I remember when I was little I would always beat up my brothers, who are 6 & 8 years older than me. I'd also get into fights with all the little neighbor boys. I've been in maybe 5 physical fights with another female. Verbal fights, well that number is gigantic.

i lost track of the number of fights i have been in, both verbal and physical.* two that i remember the most were in 6th grade i broke a guy's arm because he tried to kiss me, and in 9th grade i broke a guy's nose becuase he followed me into the girls' bathroom.* by college i had stopped fighting like that, only to defend myself.
i was in rockford at night one time, and a guy tried to rob me, i was in a really bad mood anyway from things that has happened that day, and him trying to mug me just put things over the top. i started screaming at him, threatning him, everything, he wound up running away, probably thinking i was some mad woman the loony bin people were looking for.* *:-[ (i was just having a bad day, honest!)

I get in to cat fights all of the time. Girls just dont like me for one reason or another and I have a vile temper if someone upsets any of my friends. I don't think I've ever won a fight either. Although how you win a fight is beyond me. Cat fights end when both women have a good grip on each others hair. *Ouch* , its bringing water to my eyes just thinking about it.

For some reason, guys don't like me. Most girls don't have any issues with me whatsoever.

Ha! Most of my friends have always been guys. I'm such a tomboy.

I grew up around women and only women, so I think I'm more inclined to have female friends. I come off as condescending to boys. What-ev-er.

And i've only been in about three physical fights... not counting the siblings ones.

Hmm lets see, someone kept taunting me and i walked up to him and asked him to stop cuz it was annoying and he pushed me so i punched him square across the face and gave him a black eye.. that was the end of that lol

other times this kid kept annoying me (when i was like 12 lol) and so i picked him up and bodyslammed him lol. I was such a jerk! lol but i fight no more

Nah . . . well, yeah, but girls can get bad too. There are just different sets of social rules.

I grew up with brothers, so I guess I learned those rules first.

I have actually gotten into a fight before. It was about 2 years ago and I wanted to play basketball with these three 9-year-old boys. So when the ball rolled over to me, I grabbed it and wouldn't give it back unless I could play. They got really mad and started to chase me. Then they started to kick and hit at me, claiming to be black belts. My neighbor/friend and her brother and sister came over to see what was happening and tried to help me. Her brother was around 6 and her sister was 11 and me and my friend were 12. They finally let all of us play, us vs. them and we were VERY physical! Finally, one of the boys couldn't take it and came at me, doing all of these weird kicks. I was able to block them easily but he came at me. I held up my arm and his face ran into my very bony elbow and he ended up getting a bloody lip (yeah...karate helped him there). One of his friends got his mother and she was a grizzly. She asked my age and I told her. She told me their age and how "I should no better". She threatened to go inside and get the prinicipal (we were all at school at this parent-teacher conference thing). I started to cry (I was a wuss) and my friend was trying to tell me that it wasn't my fault and that I should explain what happened. I finally told her and then she got really mad at her son. I felt really guilty afterwards for accidently beating up the kid. But it's quite funny now. :lol2:

Reading some of these posts I recalled a certain even that happened when I was 12. This boy, who I've known way too long, kicked me so I broke his nose. It was in classroom too, and since the teacher loved me I didn't get in one bit of trouble. :)

That's brilliant. I'm sure Shannon has broken some noses.

One time, during gym, I said when a threw a bad pass "Oh s*it!" and my gym teacher told me quietly to watch my mouth. And then, my homeroom/Social Studies teacher found out and he applauded me (I'm quite shy/uptight at school, despite my posting here)

No, but I've witnessed some and they can get NASTY! Lol, it's kind of funny though, cause the people don't even know each other. :laugh:

Never been in a physical fight with a female (and I just realized how odd that is considering I'm female). Seen quite a few though and they can get nasty. I have been in several fights with guys (not play fights, serious fights), but only when I was physically assaulted first. And I never lost.

I can be really tough...when I'm not too lazy. ::)

I've never been in a "real" fight. I consider myself to be a pretty calm person. However, I need to learn to control my temper cause when I DO get mad, my rage can turn into violence. :D

Lots of us have tempers! lol Yeah, I need to control it but damnit, it's bloody hard.

My temper doesn't discriminate. I can lose my temper like *that* with anyone.
