When Juliet interviewed with Dr. Alpert and Ethan, he showed her a slide that I believe she identified as a 70 year old womb. He told her that it was actually the womb of a 26 year old woman. When she questioned how this could be, he said she would have to take the job with Mittelos (anagram for "Lost Time") to find out.

Is the age discrepancy in the slide a funciton of the time-shift? Or is it simply a property of the island (explaining the fertility problem)?
