OK, I've been curious about this. I'm thinking that the majority of Ian's fangirls are...well...more like...fanWOMEN. :D I'm thinking the majority of us are over 40. I like that idea. I live in Long Beach, NY. It is a beach bungalow community that is a stone's throw from NYC. Best of both worlds, ocean exactly 100 feet from my doorstep and the Big Apple a short trip away.

I think we share the afinity for the same men, for me being Desmond and Sayid. When ever both come out on Lost they have the power to turn me into a gigly little school girl.

Desmond certainly does attract a wide range of girls.

I think part of the attraction is his great love for Penny, his attempt at saving Charlie.

Oh, and then the accent. No matter what age you are, his accent is sexy. My boyfriend is from England and that was one of the things that I first was attracted to.

Not to a 15 year old :biggrin: . I think it is so awesome that Desmond attracts such a wide range for one serious reason. Over at the B-team forum we have been discussing the future of the B team and apparently

TPTB have stated that they are going to be concentrating only on the "fan-favorites", meaning JKSL. This is bad news for all other characters.

However, as long as Desmond continues to attract fans, from all different place, and with all different ages, maybe that statement will not affect his future.
