After watching last thursday's episode i started thinking of the Brazilians that we've seen in the end of the second season. Who are they working for? I believe that their working for Penny and that is how Penny recieved the coordinates for the island. I guess Penny than gave the coordinates to the organization and they went to go invesitgate the island or find ben. What does everybody think about this?

I think they were working for Abanndon but Penny had paid them and told them to ring her first when they found the island.

I don't think the freighter folk have anything to do with Penny, otherwise she would probably know who Naomi is! She also has no interest in Ben, she just wants to get Desmond back!

They were *definitely* working for Penny, because they called to tell her they "found it." Remember--they woke her up from sleep, she turned on the light, and she had the infamous pic of her and Des on her nightstand.

Brazilians generally speak Portuguese. I don't think it was ever revealed exactly which nationality those two were. I may be wrong though.

A: Minkowski was told not to answer any phone calls from Penny because she is "The Boss' Daughter" looking for her long "LOST" love which would probably get in the way of communication on the Freighter if she was tying up the line all the time with her constant inquiries since she knows "They" have a signal from the Island...

A: Penny probaby got a head's up about her father's mission and contacted some of the Scientists informing them to contact her (throwing around her Widmore name) when they get a signal from the Island...

A: Brazialians speak many languages, especial educated ones. It would not be unusual for a Brazillian to be fluent in Portugese (mutiple dialects), French, Italian, English and Spanish. How do I know this? Because I had the pleasure to work along side of a team of Brazialians at DELL and had the pleasure to get to know them and their customs along with their educational system and especially the languages they learn because it fathoms me that we (as Americans) only really care to learn one language...
