Faraday's character seems to be one that is aa science geek do the right thing kinda guy... he immediately came to Desmonds rescue during his episodes in The Constant...allowing desmond to not feel like he is going crazy and therefore live...yeah I like faraday

absolutely Dan is a very likeable character. It's great how in such a short time the writers can give a person so much character and make the audience take to him. This is very hard especially on a show where we don't trust people very often!

I love Dan, but I'm worried he might die. Because he's been on a few episodes and everyone likes him. I specifically remember when Mr. Eko died that the writers (?), said that they wrote it, to where the audience would get to like him a lot sooner because they knew he was going to die. That's just paraphrasing it, though. Anyway, Dan Faraday is my new favorite character.

Daniel is great! He just grows on you... and he saved how many lives so far? Not bad for a newbie, who wears a tie in the jungle :D

Worries for him dying are just... he might find out too much too soon... and the writers might deal with him in the short way :17: I never thought it possible that at this level a new character would turn out this adorable. Especially one of the notorius freighties. What a pleasant surprise.

yeah, i like his tie too... and maybe so many of us Lost Geeks like him because he represents us (and even more so the show creators) - an eccentric Lost Geek, obsessed with figuring out the mystery of it all, and constantly rambling out random Lost facts & figures that no one else understands!!!... yeah, something tells me he's been to Comic Con before ;)

I agree, he's a really likable character, which is a bit of a conflict because as uncertain as I am about Ben, I really like the island and therefore I think it would be a real disaster if Widmore comes to exploit the island and the losties (who appreciate the island) have absolutely no defenses-- partly because the gas is now inert thanks to Dan.

You can't go wrong with Jeremy Davies. He makes Dr. Dan Faraday the most intriguing character since Henry Ian's Desmond. It is these type of characters that make Lost so rich and fascinating.

Can't say if he's naughty or nice, but he is a physicist, after all. Who can ever tell what they're thinking? Or devising...

I am hoping he becomes a regular cast member. Definitely a good addition to the show. I am looking forward to learning more about Lapidus too.

I can't argue with this (as I can't see inside his head), but he ended up saving Desmond's life nonetheless ... :rolleyes: And that's a fact.
