This has probably been asked before...but it's been awhile and maybe people havd developed new opinions...you never know...it happens... ;D

I adore seeing Sawyer with Kate, but I'm not counting her because we have had a lot of those scenes and I'm SURE we'll get more* ;D

So my top two choices are:

1.Walt - I don't even really like Walt...but Sawyer talking to him just cracks me up. He has a hilarious energy with kids I think

2.Hurley - After Raised by Another...I would LOVE to see another Hurley/Sawyer scene. That was priceless!

Yeah, I'd like to see Sawyer with Sayid more. It looks like those two could hit it off ;). And it would be nice if Sawyer did something nice, like help Jin out of those handcuffs, since he's an expert lock-picker. Just want to see more Spreadin of the Sawyer love :laugh:

I was just going to say Sayid too! It seems to be getting a bit more less intense between them a unspoken truce so to speak
the sarcasm from Sayid is met with Sawyers hard exterior and it gets through but Sawyer doesn't seem to take it in the wrong way he seems to be taking it on the chin and understands that Sayid is not attacking him personally anymore

I agree with Sawyer being in more scenes with Walt and Hurley :laugh: those scenes were just too funny! Though I'm not really a fan of Shannon I think that Sawyer and her could have a funny, sarcastic conversation between them.

Well pretty much anyone in DIMPLES knows I've been holding out for a Sawyer/Jin handcuff lock-picking scene for a long time. It just has to happen, because I say so. :lol2:

I definately want more scenes with Sawyer and Hurley. Hurley is really the only one who has approached Sawyer in an upfront, respectful and straightforward manner. It would be interesting to see how Sawyer would interact with him knowing that. I also agree that more scenes with Sayid would be great. I'd love Sayid and Sawyer to get stuck on some errand into the jungle together.

Oh dude, definitely Hurley. The scene with Walt was great but I think Walt would get sick of Sawyer and make a tree fall on him or something, lol. It would be great to see Hurley weasel Sawyer out of some more of his "stash".

I loved the Walt scene, as well. I'd also like to see more scenes with Locke. I don't think we've seen to many, yet.

I'd like more Sawyer /Hurley scenes because Hurley is honest and straight forward and I don't think Sawyer knows how to deal with a person like Hurley.

It's strange, but I want to see Sawyer and Sun scenes. How do you think that will turn out? Hurley would be my runner up with Sawyer. He can pretty much do a scene with anyone and make most of us laugh.

With Locke. I think both are equally intelligent and witty; to see them interacting would be priceless. They are the same, both rational temperaments, but very different in the way they 'perform' that rationality. As I commented before (don't remember the thread), they were made from the same material, but the shape life gave to them is different.
In Outlaws, when Locke tells the story about the dog and his dead sister, Sawyer is deeply touched because he saw a connection to what was happening to him, obviously, but at the same time, I felt as if Locke was the only person that Sawyer may hear and consider wiser after that .
Exchanges between a guy who "sees the big picture" and another who's good "putting bits and pieces together" would be amazing.

Second choice is a tie between Hurley and Walt.

For me, its Sayid and Locke.

Sawyer and Sayid's relationship definitely took a turn after that scene in the cave when Sayid came back. Its not as acrimonious now. And I loved how Sawyer approached Sayid about hearing the voices, and how Sayid was listening and took him seriously. I would love to see these 2 bond.

I would like to see Sawyer spend more time with Locke because I believe Sawyer is probably the least likely of the castaways to be swayed by Locke's more mystical "wiseness". While he did find the relevancy in Locke's story to his own life, in Outlaws, I have a feeling if Locke tried some of his more questionable teaching with Sawyer, he'd have a tough time getting that over.

But to me, Josh is amazing and has incredible chemistry with everyone. He just sparks with each actor he's had a scene with. Thats just a combination of talent and charisma.

Yes! Sawyer is my favorite male character (I like his witty and sarcastic remarks) and my favorite female character is Sun. I am definately hoping for some interaction (and maybe some attraction ;)) in the near future.

Hurley and Sawyer have a great dynamic & play off each others personalities really well. The whole stay-puff quip and Hurley letting it roll off his back so he can say Dude you need the points.
PRICELESS. Hurley I believe sees through the BAD BOY exterior. It would be great to see them interact. I think Hurley might also bring Sawyer humor and I think OUR boy needs to really laugh more -- woo that smile. :mushy:

Locke and Sawyer wow what can I say? They most likely both grew up in fostercare and would have a similar past and common ground. Locke is one of the few people Sawyer would listen to with respect. I don't know if all the mystical principles would go over well with Sawyer but I think Locke could make Sawyer more at peace with who he is .

In a way I'd like to see him interact with Rose. I would like to see if he treats her with respect instead of sarcasm. Maybe this would make the southern gentleman in him come out. ;)

I think he and Sayid should have more scenes because I think they are starting to gain a little respect for each other. *I loved the scene in Outcasts when Sayid is questioning Sawyer about the boar destroying his camp. *Sawyer asks Sayid something like, "are you enjoying yourself"? *And Sayid answers, "yes". *That is so funny

I also agree he and Hurley should have more scenes together. *Hurley is so "real" and Sawyer is so "intense" sometimes. *Hurley is too cute to be mean too. *Like when in "Numbers" when he is sitting and staring at Sayid until he wakes up. *Cracked me up! *So, Sawyer and Hurley would be a good partnership. :laugh:

Scenes with Claire or Sun would be interesting only because I've never seen them together. *Would be interesting to see how they would inneract together. *

I thought the Locke/Kate/Sawyer scene was really funny! *When Locke launches into this "out-of-nowhere" conversation about his sister falling off the monkey-bars and breaking her neck - the looks that Sawyer and Kate were exchanging were SO FUNNY! *They were like "where is this man coming from"? *It turned out to be a funny scene even though what Locke was talking about was not funny. :P

But who I really want to see him in more scenes with is the "Mystery Woman" in my fan fic. *The one that's still in the 40+ survivors! ;)

I'd love to see that too. I've wondered for awhile how Sawyer would deal with Rose - or how she'd deal with him. Rose handled the tough-love, "stop pitying yourself and get off your butt" angle with Charlie really well, and sometimes I think Sawyer needs someone (other than Kate - he could use another person who cares about him, imo) to call him out on that as well.

I pick Sayid........I think there is such intense emotion (good or bad you know) that comes out of them when they act together that it blows me away.

Hurley does bring out the funnier side in Sawyer. I would go for some Sawyer and Hurley scenes any old day.

I think Sawyer/Shannon scenes would be good. I'd like to see them become friends, especially now that she and Sayid are starting something (and we all love the Sawyer/Sayid scenes). Sawyer has just that right mix of southern charm and sassiness that could bring her down a few pegs when she's feeling uppity He could also tease her incessantly and make fun of her, and help bring out her cooler, looser side. I'd like to see that.

Yeah...you know that Sawyer/Shannon scene in "White Rabbit" was one of the first times when I started to really enjoy Sawyer...I started to see him more as the funny, sarcastic guy and less as the 'jerk'...lol...

I just got done watching that episode a few hours ago, and I was laughing about the Sawyer/ Shannon scene. To funny!

I must say I loved the scene with Sawyer and Sun. He was so respectful towards her, and when he made that nice comment on her garden it was so sweet. It was really nice seeing him being kind to somebody with no bars held. So I want more of that!

I would like to see some scenes with a trio of charlie, hurley, and sawyer. Charlie and Hurley have good chemistry together and hurley/sawyer is good chemistry also. So I say send the three out for a roadtrip into the jungle. Of course as long as it is a scene with sawyer i really don't care who he is with.

TOTALLY. Me too. I get the feeling the Charlie/Claire thing might start falling apart...if Charlie gets back on the dope, which is in large supply now thanks to Boone's 'discovery'...and I think wee little baby-momma Claire could really bring out his protective side.

Um, and I'm surprised nobody on this thread has said this, but after the most recent episode, I realize that the scenes between Jack and Sawyer are actually kinda few and far-between. I get this feeling that, a couple seasons down the road, they will either be A) best friends, or B) out to kill each other.

I absolutely agree with you on your Jack and Sawyer comment. Can't wait to see how that one turns out. They have two strikes against them already right now.....

1. Sawyer and Jack's father: Their past together was interesting, and I think Sawyer has some unresolved issues with the convo he had with Jack's father.

2. Women always get in the way of the friendship of men...especially when they both want her.

So....we'll see how it turns out. I can see them becoming friends, but that wouldn't be until many episodes down the line.

Beijing, I dont want to get too off topic here, but I took the "she likes me" comment as Sawyer just trying to be cute. He was a ladies man before the island so he's done his fair share of flirting w/the girls. I thought it was really nice of him to offer Claire some fish and I enjoyed seeing that softer side of Sawyer, but I still think he and Kate have a chance--sorry I'm a Skater ;).
