I don't recall a lot about how exactly Goodwin was killed. But I didn't remember it being a fence post through the chest on the side of a hill. Can somebody refresh my memory as to the circumstances and location of Goodwin's death? Thanks in advance.

He and Ana Lucia took a walk. They struggled when it became clear he was an other. I don't remember if he fell or if she pushed him, but he landed on a post and was impaled.

It wasn't a post, it was a spear weapon the tail section had made.

Didn't Ana Lucia fall on her back and, when Goodwin went to attack her, she held up the spear and got him in the chest?

Can anyone confirm as to whether his body was in the same place when we were first shown his body when Ecko and Jin find it and Ecko says "his name was Goodwin" and Jin asks "Others?"

For some reason it seemed to me that Goodwin was killed in a more dense setting. I know that he and Ana were on a hill with a view but it seemed where he fell and was found by Jin was more overgrown or something than where he was in this episode...

It is supposed to be the same place, even if it doesn't look exactly the same.
elfdream, you are correct. I am rewatching season 2 this week and those epi's are very fresh in my memory. When Jin and Eko came across Goodwin, he was in a much more overgrown area.
As for the actual death scene, he and A-L were struggling, she fell over that small hill and when he jumped to tackle her at the bottom of the hill, she held her spear up and made him into a kabob.
