second time around.

She was obviously scouted off the island via Ethan and Richard..
Is there evidence that pre-Juliette even pre-Ben that Pregnancy
was an issue?!

I think Ben found beauty in Juliette long before she reached the
island. On top of it she was an amazing doctor in her field. Ben
gets Ethan and Richard to try and recruit while, somehow Ben
makes the island a troubled place for birth.

Cue the bus* Whammmmm, Cue her sisters pregancy*

Juliette agrees and comes to the island.

Juliette thinks her stay is only 6 months long. However Ben
figures if he can keep the island natural birth free, then perhaps
Juliette will stay longer, if not he now has her secret to wave in
front of her to keep her.

I have to admit that the first thing I thought of was Ben instigated the pregnancy issues when he said this is the last ep.

The lingering question I have about the pregnancy issue that possibly supports your theory is....during her interview in Portland with Richard (pasted from Lostpedia) "He asks her to examine a slide of a CT sequence. Juliet assesses that it is a human womb, and judging by the scan, most likely of a barren patient in her 70s. However, she is told that the woman is in fact just 26 years old, and that she could find out why if she worked with them."

I hear ya, but what's not to believe?! She just impregnated a male mouse and helper her sister get pregnant who was thought to be unable to conceive. The world of medical wonders would probably be pretty vast and full of possibilities to her.
There are all sorts of medical anomalies, that even today in the real world have 1 a million chances of happening.

Nah, too silly, and I think Ben wouldn't do that. The more credible story is Annie dying when carrying his child or something...

I think Ben is responsible for those pregnancy issues on the island because he's so hot for Juliette. I didn't like the abrupt tone in his voice when he told Juliette that the kids would stop crying eventually -- pertaining to her being upset over someone she couldn't save.....was it Emma? I need to watch my tape again
