Miles knew Michael was not Kevin Johnson. How did he know? Did ghost Libby tell him?

seems possible- we only know that miles communicates with ghosts, not that he can simply read minds. And it appears Libby might be following michael....

I thought he had to be in the presence of the body, or at least things related to the person (as with the boy's bedroom on his introduction) which is why when the three of them first landed he made Jack and Kate take him to Naomi's body, so he could verify what happened.

I thought that too...they obviously weren't near any of the bodies. But what if it was because Libby was following him? I think that's probably what happened.

It made me wonder if Libby really is haunting Michael or if Miles is just really good at reading people.

Or, it could be that due to the time anomalies, Miles has already done this at least once before?

I couldn't help but think back to Locke and the orange in his mouth when Miles was sitting there.

Miles was sent to her place in a flashback earlier this season to talk to Walt for some unknown reason. So obviously, he knows who Michael is already. He was probably sent by widmore/linus, not sure yet.... So I definately think there is a lot more to Miles we dont know about yet.

Psychic Miles knew Michael wasn't Kevin so since he's another John Edward (famous medium in real life) Libby must have told him. I expect he'll be knowing about Michael's mission from Libby as well.

No, she wasn't. Michael's mother was played by Starletta DuPois and is locate din New York. MIles visited Mrs. Gardner, played by Azure McCall, who lives in Los Angeles. 3,000 miles apart.

Does he have to physically be next to the body? I don't think so.

The dead boy was not in the room he went to at the old lady's house.

But - he did see the fake crash on the TV. Could he have gotten information from what he saw of the footage?

Since it seems like Miles came on this mission to kill Ben Linus with the intent to betray his comrades and free Ben Linus for a large amount of money, it is entirely possible that Miles did his own research ahead of time. There may be nothing psychic about it.

I think the easiest conclusion is the best (as easy as conspiracy making psychic seeing time traveling smoke monsters can be) -- Obviously Michael feels haunted by Libby, it only makes sense that it would be Libby talking to Miles. The time travel-- there's no reason to think Miles has jumped through time, it is not not the explaination for everything!

Miles was just giving Michael "the gears." He was just being a smart*ss. You could walk up to anyone and say, "I saw what you did." or "I know what you did" and completely psych someone out.

No! The ghost-lady was in Southern California and lived in a house. Walt's grandma is in NYC and lives in a brownstone. They are played by different actresses.

It could've been ghost Libby... or a ghost who knew ghost Libby... or a ghost who knew a ghost who knew.... you, know, like 6 degrees of Kevin Johnson.
