Yes, I think that you may have something there. He certainly made a point of saying how he liked her. They also seem to be spending a lot of their screentime together.

If you look at the four freighter folks as a nod the Fantastic Four, Daniel clearly parallels the physicist.. Charlotte parallels his love interest, kind of by default because she is the woman and everyone else is taken (Lapidus is the pilot, Miles Strom is mouthy hotshot Johnny Storm).

I don't really care that much about the freighters' romance lives, to be honest, but I do think there is a potential romance hinted at between these two characters.:)

I don't either, I'm not a big fan of romance just for the sake of it. (If it makes sense for the overall story, fine, I just hate when romance is shoehorned into a plot just because someone thinks they'll get more viewers that way.)

A romance between Daniel and Charlotte would be interesting to me because they are so opposite in so many ways. As a couple they would balance each other out nicely.

I'm not a big fan of romance in a show being shoved in my face -- I like it when it's a little more low-key, which is what I'm hoping for from Dan and Charlotte. :)

Yep -- she's very straightforward and confident, and while I think Dan's confident in his own way, he's definitely very awkward. I love the scene in TOW when she encourages him that he can shut down the poison gas factory. :biggrin:
