i wonder if the plot might have something to do with sleeping? i mean they really made a big deal about the dreams that Claire had with Locke and about her baby getting hurt. also there was the really odd standout point they made about Boone falling asleep when he was on guard duty and the interesting comment made from Locke about counting on him. it just seems that they put a lot of emphasis on sleep and dreaming.

This goes in the theories and not even spoilery ones at that :) Thank you.

Do you mean the entire plot of the show? If so, then I highly doubt it. Think about it this way: if you were stranded on a mysterious island with everything that they've been going through (monsters, polar bears, kidnappings, etc) would you sleep regularly? I think I would be very sleep-deprived, therefore falling asleep at odd times throughout the day, if I were them. I really don't think it's a big hint about the plot of the show.

I think this plot goes along with the purgatory ones that have been tossed. I will be really disappointed if this is what is happening, though I have heard some pretty nice tie-ins on the boards. It is kind of a cop-out and while some of the mysteries can be explained through the collective sleep/coma theories I think there are too many open ends that would be left open. I also think that over the years this method has become overused even in the different variations over the years (I recommend you see the movie Identity if you guys haven't already seen it). But who knows!!! Keep trying I enjoy reading everyone's thoughts and opinions! LOVE IT!! :-*
