during the break I am thinking of going to look at some past seasons to see how they are now being tied into the story like:

S1E10 - Raised By Another - Claire's dream with Locke forshadowing Aaron being given away and the psychic telling Claire she has to raise the baby. Now from Eggtown we know that Aaron ends up with Kate and Claire's Locke dream meant something.

What else are some good episodes to look at?

also in that dream we see the crib from the medical station in it, I've always thought that was interesting, it's before Claire gets taken.

I just might do that too... although my wife has bought The Wire box sets, and I'm getting into Season 1....

1x15: Homecoming - You could watch how the Others have completely changed since they were introduced to us. If you find any continuity, please post a thread on it. The Others have been re-invented with each season.

1x19: Deux Ex Machina - gives us Locke's background relationship with his father, and the only reason I can see for Locke believing Ben. Also, that episode has Locke yelling at the Island. Now that we see the Island has super-powers (can't die in NY), Locke's questions have a whole other layer.

Great! Thank you - your suggestions are exactly what I was looking for. I will re-watch and report back!

I started with season 1 and hope to get through all of it (all previous seasons I mean) by the 24th. I have definitely noticed some discrepancies. In Raised by Another Claire says that her mom will disown her if she tells her about the pregnancy. In Solitary Sayid tells Danielle that Nadia is dead...we now know that he was actually on his way to see her, so why does he say that?

It is very interesting re-watching the early episodes knowing what we know now, I'm sure there is a lot more...

I'm so glad you posted this thread, I was looking for someone to discuss this with!!!!

Claire's comment I attribute to her hoping that her mom would wake up. She was talking as if her mom wasn't in a coma.

With Sayid, he might be thinking he was lied to by the government. He might also be pessimistic about seeing her again. Not everything the characters say has to be taken as fact.

How do we know he is going to see her? I don't remember that.

Season 1, Episode 21. He is approached by the CIA and told that if he helps them they will tell him where Nadia is. They make him infiltrate a terrorist group that his friend was in. So we know he was on flight 815 because he was on his way to find her.
