OMG, is Ben the real father of Aaron? It's like he's been cast as Anakin, after all...

i think, as do alot of people, that the milennium falcon is a reference to sawyer. basically saying that jack and kate (luke and leia) will have to go back and rescue sawyer (han solo) from the island the same way they rescue han from jabbas palace. or something like that. also, i'm pretty sure that michael will end up playing the role that lando calrisian plays in star wars - after betraying everyone, he'll eventually redeem himself by helping to save them all. but that happens in pretty much every story, it's a pretty rubbish connection.

Hmm.. I think Claire would know if she'd slept with Ben... It does make me wonder if Aaron's father will play any further role in the show, though.

yeah it would be interesting to see him again. if i remember rightly we saw one of his paintings in widmore's office at some point. apart from that we haven't seen or heard anything from him since. seems a bit strange considering aaron is starting to seem very important to the story of lost.

1)Christian is like Darth Vader - he is the father of Jack and Claire - yet they don't know it yet - eventually he'll end up saving them and be good
2) Sawyer is like Han Solo - while he's not flirty with Claire - he does bring the humor- and has had this love triangle thing with Kate and Jack - he's also been locked up by the bad guys and been on the run for taking and owing money
3) Hanso or Mr. Paik or whoever is in charge is the Emperor
4) there are always references throughout the show of the dark side
5) While Ben isn't a fat slob - he could be like Jaba - holding them all there
6) the island is kinda like Ewok village - didn't someone even got caught in a rope net- didn't they set up by Danielle
7) They see dead people on the island - just like seeing Yoda, Obi

As someone mentioned Carlton and Damon are huge Star Wars fans. They are also fans of Stephen King - annd there are plenty of references to "The Stand" in the show as well.

They also like to yank the occasional "Fan Chain" with copious Pop Culture references - which send us all scurrying to our HD's and Screencaps for futher research and development!! (See "The Whispers" threads!)

All that being said the Millenium Falcon and the "SOB" moment were true give-aways that Sawyer's still trippin' up the works...
