Come on. I have to get some answers from y'all.

What do YOU think Locke's purpose is? To be the antagonist VS. Jack when he returns to the Island? Please share your thoughts with a NOOB.

Peace.

I think if Jack returns to the Island, I think they will be friendly again, obviously in TTLG Jack understands that Locke was right about the whole "your not supposed to do this" thing, and I think if Jack gets back to the Island they will be friendly to each other.

Could be Jack comes back as the Man of Faith, needing to connect with the Island, and finds John, Man of Science, running the high-tech-show that is the Island. One thing they wouldn't argue about again: destiny. I think they both see it as inevitable now.

That's an interesting thought.

Yeah, if Jack gets back to the Island, he's going to be totally different. I bet he is going to be the Jack that he was supposed to be if he didn't dismiss all the evidence of destiny that the Island was throwing at him. When he gets back, he's going to fufill what Locke said about Jack believing in destiny but just not knowing it yet.
