I am a true Kate/Sawyer believer ... but what if Claire and Sawyer become THE COUPLE of the island? Claire seems sensitive enough to understand there is more to Sawyer than the bad side everyone has seen. With a little trust and encouragement from Claire, Sawyer might be a great daddy to the baby (which could help him get closure on his own past).

This scenario would then allow a Kate/Sayid relationship. Also, this still leaves room for a Hurley/Shannon pairing (Hurley could teach Shannon how to lighten up).

Finally, so Jack and Charlie aren't left in the cold ... we could have a Jack/Charlie couple. Interesting twist.

Okay, enough of my ramblings on unexplored relationship possibilities ...

not bad, cept you destroy the lives of all the SKaters, Jaters, and PB&Jers!!!

Of course, it has also been suggested that perhaps Jack's treatment toward Sawyer is because he is attracted to him (not because he is jealous of Kate).

She's TOO sweet. He's too... Well, I could get way off track here, but - let's just say he's been around too much.

I can see him with Kate, I guess. She just doesn't seem to have any softness about her at all. If she could show a little tenderness... Maybe I could see her more with Sawyer. She has the same background that he does, but she needs to be able to offer him some redemption. But you can't offer it until you've experienced yourself.

I think this is a stellar idea. They are on far too different ends of the spectrum, but imagine in 2 or 3 Seasons, he's turned around in order to win her and we get a little Pacey/Joey couple. And they're chemistry took over the entire show of Dawson's Creek if you ask me.

Come on. Let's have some support. Just think about it.

I love Charlie/Claire as well, but they have so many potential hook-ups, I figure some of them have to burn out. We can't have everyone who's potentially hooking up now all turn out to be "meant for each other". I think it would be great to see him become good friends with her and I can't imagine him ever being unkind to someone as sweet as Claire. So he sees his nastiness reflected in her and it totally changes him.

K. You can be my partner in crime in case the lynchings begin for all the PB&Jers, Skaters, Jaters, and anyone with a general distaste for this way out there couple. ;D
