Seems Lance is going to be a regular cast member of a show on a different network. Now I realize that Fringe is a J.J Abrams show, but considering that ABC produced Cane and Lost but Nestor couldn't appear on both since Cane was shown by CBS, I fear that Lance won't show up on Lost unless the Fox-based Fringe is canceled.

Does anyone know in the history of television if producers can lock in an actor for future guest spots over a period of years? Even if that actor is a regular on another show?

I smell a boycott Fringe line in my sig coming up, unless of course Abaddon is the man in the coffin, I guess we'll have to wait until the 29th to find out.

Sigh, moved to the character forum, which no one ever reads. Looking at the first page of this forum, this thread is the only one out of them all referring to the actor and not the character. I suppose actor availability could fit here, but I'd really rather have more responses in General Lost Talk instead! :)

Anywhoo, I doubt Lance will show up in the coffin, so TPTB are going to have some 'xplainin to do if they can't get him back. Especially after his most recent scene with Locke where Abaddon strongly strongly implied that Locke would see him again.
