Hey, KingMe. My brother lives in Waterloo. He just got married yesterday and found out on Wednesday his house was flooded up to his ceiling. We also have family in NO that were flooded out. I sure have everyone there in my prayers.

Uh oh, they just found a body. It was the body of a 59-year-old woman.

I lived in Okoboji during the great flood of 1993. That was the one where most of Des Moines was underwater. My house was safe, but I spent all day every day at the sand pile helping fill sandbags. I feel for you. And Cedar Rapids is the most beautiful town I have ever visited, especially in the fall. Big Huggs to you. Please keep us posted as to the recovery.
