I've heard a lot of people suggesting that Christian is up to know good. What do you think? And do you believe he speaks for Jacob? I included the "it's not Christian" options as well, as that idea has always been tossed around.
Personally, I think it would be pointless from a storytelling POV to have it be Christian doing all these things, if it wasn't actually Christian. And Christian was always a well-meaning person, who ultimately let his weaknesses get the better of him, but who was nevertheless good-hearted till the end. A transformation from that into a villain seems inconsistent with who he is. So my vote is that Christian is good -- he spoke on Jacob's behalf.
