My absolute favorite is Mr. Olivander!
Maybe it has something to do with John Hurt's magnificent performance, but he seems like the most interesting person to come along. He has so much potential!

It's a tie for me - Hermione because she's brilliant (although bossy) - and I really love Hagrid. He is such a big teddy bear. Such a huge giving heart. I also have to say that I like Mrs. Weasley. A wonderful mother, but doesn't take any crap from anyone.

Well it would be way to hard to choose between the main characters , so I won't even try. but, if I had to choose my favourite non-major character, it would definately be Arabella Fig ;D

And Lupin, but he is sort of a main character in a way , you know ?

I love Ron, he's hilarious! Hagrid is a close second.

My favourite is Snape. Always has been Snape, ever since the Philosopher's Stone. This last book changes nothing, lol.

I also like Remus :)

I enjoy many characters, couldnt' choose just one. Aside from Harry of course,I like..Professor Flitwick, Tonks, Fred and George, Draco, Seamus adn Neville. I love all the rest as well, but I felt that I should make a list of a couple people, lol

I Couldnt just choose one all time fave but my list is:

1) Sirius
2)Tonks
3)Lupin and Wood are tied ;D

Oh yea and u cant forget Neville and of course Luna (and i have been saying this for sometime) Cuz they would really Cute couple!

I'm only four and a half chapters into the new one and I just got it today. Likely I will finish by the end of the weekend though. I've read the spoilers already though, but it's such good writing it really doesn't matter. In that case if JK Rowling is considered a character, than she is my favorite ;D

I love Lupin.... and Sirius (oh, why can't he just come back), Neville reminds me of my little brother so I like him.

Out of the trio, I love Ron. He's hysterical....

I have lots of fav HP characters. I love the trio, Gred and Forge, Mr. Weasley, Dumbledore, McGonagall, Lucius, Draco, and Tom Riddle. No worries, I know they're teh evil but I I think evil characters rock.

It's impossible for me to choose a favorite. J.K. Rowling does such a good job with all her characters! I love The Trio, Dumbledore, all the Weasley's (that family just seems so real to me...and yes, I even like Percy), Neville, Luna, Hagrid, and McGonagall. I know, it seems like I don't hate any of them, does it? :laugh:

I love all the Trio, but Ron has always been my favorite, and always will be. He just reminds me a lot of myself, I sympathize with Ron the most, and he's hilarious. Harry really stepped up in HBP, however, I loved him in it. More mature, but still with his biting sense of humor. I relate most to the two of them.

Of the other kids, I love Fred & George, Neville, Luna, and of course Ginny.

My favorite of the Marauders generation is Sirius, hands down. It took awhile to get over her killing Padfoot, but I accepted it...of course, accepting doesn't mean I have to like it, even now. ;)

Of the teachers....easy, McGonagall. I wish I'd had a teacher like her. And Dumbledore, of course.

It's hard to choose my favorite. :-\ But, I'd have to say my favorite is Ron or Hermione. Hermione reminds me of myself sometimes, although I'm not quite as bossy or a know-it-all. ;) Ron is just plain hilarious. Rupert Grint and Emma Watson were, in my opinion, perfectly cast. Emma Watson in particular looks exactly the way I imagined Hermione.

I also like Fred and George and *sniff* Sirius.

I guess I'm just wild about Harry.
Just finished HBP and everytime I finish an HP book, my heart breaks for Harry. He is so endearing, strong and exceptional and normal at the same time. I don't like Snape so much anymore >:(

I have to say Remus Lupin for me. The Weasley Twins are dear to me as well.
