Yeeeeeeeeep, yep. Mua-ha-ha!!!!!!! That. Was. Bloody. Fantastic. I LOVED it!!!!!!!! I ended up going at 12:35am but 'tis okay. I need to see this movie again and again and again. I knew that I was gonna love Jackson but not just cause Cillian played him; his character was awesome!!!!! I love the evil ones.

I'm very excited to see this movie, but I didn't have time this weekend to see it. :crybaby: However, my friend wants to see it too so if our weekend isn't too much next week we're hoping to go see it. We both like Cillian a lot. He's awesome!

I saw Red Eye and I really enjoyed it, I ended up liking it more than I anticipated. It was really one of the best popcorn flicks I've seen in a long time. Wes Craven didn't manage to screw this one up and he's sort of "back" after the Scream sequels and Cursed. It's still not Craven's old style that I love but it had a good thing going on. Cillian and Rachel had a great chemistry together and I can't help but want Cillian, even when he's a psycho. I would of changed the way the movie ends a little bit but it wasn't a total screw up like in War of the Worlds. I could live with the ending they had, I just would of made it better haha.

For what the movie is, I'd give it 3.5 stars out of 5. Good suspenseful thriller.

I thought Red Eye was fantastic! I mean obviously there was nothing earth shattering about the film, but in terms of a thriller, it really had me going! It actually reminded me a lot of Speed...just the idea of being confined in this small space and having to try to keep in control...and then at the end they get out of that space and it's all out chase.

Now...don't throw things at me....but I don't find Cillian Murphy at all attractive (but then I like my men rough and rugges, and I have a thing against pretty boys...), but he was great at being creepy :).

And Racheal McAdams...GUH...I adore her! She has just moved up to my top 5 girl crush list for SURE. She's so likeable, and just so adorable! :biggrin:

Cillian sort of reminds me of Johnny Depp, he has that jawline thing going on. I think he is (to steal a quote from Tom Cruise) "magnificent". Those piercing blue eyes, gah! Drives me insane.

Rachel McAdams is definitely on the top of my list for actresses. I don't even really have many "favorite actresses". Nicole Kidman is number 1 on my list, followed by Kathleen Turner, but I think Rachel might be number 3, she's a great up and coming actress.

Just saw Red Eye today, I loved it! I really don't think that Cillian is all that good looking, but he sure gave me the creeps. He was the best villian I had ever seen in a movie. I love Rachel McAdams and she did a brilliant performance. This movie made me jump a few times, but it was wonderful. Great action, great story, great everything. Two thumbs up.

So am I. When I came home and used the bathroom, I kept thinking of the movie and it gave me chills. I peeked around the door before I went out into the hallway.

I went and saw it this weekend, and I LOVED IT!! Cillian does creepy/psycho guy very well, 2 hours of Cillian goodness was just what I needed this weekend!! I thought it was well paced and had a good story.

yeah, Cillian Murphy also played Dr.Crane/The Scarecrow in Batman Begins... he was a very good villian in both of these movies... mentioned it in the movies thread, but i just saw Red Eye today, and it was bloody awesome... one of the best suspense thrillers i've seen in quite a long time... It's cool, we all can't like the same things. I'm very critical of movies as well, but I have to say this was a fun popcorn flick for me.

This movie wasn't scary like I was lead to believe. I really liked it though. The scene at the beginning where RMc was reacting to the takeoff...that is so totally me. I don't mind flying, but I hate the takeoff.

I just wish I had someone like Jackson sitting next to me. Shyeah, he's bloody evil but I love it. lmao I'm glad you liked it! WHEEEE!

The second time was more fun for me because of the audience....even though they cheered when Jackson got stabbed and stuff. :( Today, I got my hair cut and I was talking to my stylist about RE. He said it was awesome and that he too was glad Jackson was stabbed. Noooooooo!!! lol
