i must be insane because i heard this and my boyfriend could not and no one else on here seems to have mentioned it. i was watching the DVD deleted flashback of sayid talking to the woman in the airport about buying a tie. the lady is questioning him about the woman he is going to see and asking him about her tastes and as he begins to answer her a voice whispers, "tell her." it caught me totally off guard but i rewound it a ton of times ad i heard it everytime though my BF still cannot hear it! anyone else pick this up?????

nope even in surround sound there is no whisper or echo tell her aint there. what did you think about the claire lost flashback thats a whopper a bernard bombshell

I was wondering if anyone else caught the timing that when Sayid is about to buy the tie, that the security leads him away without him buying the tie! Yet the tie shows up on the island!

Yeah, there were quite a few of us posting about that when it first went on TV. I can't even remember where the thread is, lol.
I think we generally agreed that the woman adored Sayid as much as we all did and went and chased him down afterwards to give him the tie, lol. That's our story and we are sticking to it :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:

I agree, either the saleslady found him or after he got ok'd by security he could have gone back and purchased it. I could see Sayid going in and apologizing to the lady for the security going in there, cause that is the type of guy he is - respectful!

Phantom "tell her" is not in audio track nor captions.
Maybe this scene was cut for the very reason observed above-the continuity error of getting detained before paying for the tie, yet the tie suddenly appears on the island.
