View Full Version : Grey's Anatomy
madameripper 02-20-2006, 04:11 PM I loved this episode l laughed so hard for the first thirty minutes, l missed some of the conversations. Can we please keep Mark..oh sorry, McSteamy... I think l had Pamela's 'episodes' every time he came on screen. That man is beyond hotness. Did you catch what Webber said to McDreamy about his hand "keep ice on that two-million-dollar-a-year hand, and McDreamy lives in a trailer???
Question ~ Did anyone really have those going to high school naked dreams? I don't remember having those.
I got a kick out of Bailey talking to the baby while watching the surgery. I thought it was so cute how Izzy and Alex kept looking at each other smiling, aawwww. feeding the beast. Ha,ha. I'm so glad they're together, l wonder if its just a high right now for them or is it going to be a lasting thing. *oooh remembers previews*
That young kid with the tumors on his face reminded me of the movie The Mask. Poor George l felt so bad for him tonight but l'm not mad at Meredith, I guess l'm disappointed but not mad. Ok l've rambled on enough.
Geez l almost forgot the guy who played Merediths dad...Lost character? Am l right l just forget which one...
He's the guy Sawyer was told was the real Sawyer (by the guy from 'Terminator') and who turned out not to be the real Sawyer but was just in debt to the guy from 'Terminator'!!! I noticed it! I thought it was awesome to see. :D
Meredith.... NOOOOOOOOO!! Keep your hands off George!!! :(
Totally agree! She's going to really mess things up with him and it's going to be sooo sad for poor George! He loves her so much!
When McDreamy hit McSteamy, and the Chief was giving him a hard time, Derek explained that Mark had slept with Addison. Then the Chief asked Derek, "Did you at least put your weight behind it?" Loved that!
I thought that that was one of the funniest of the night as well!
Do you guys think that Addsion will go back to NY with Mark or stay in Seattle? I think she's still in love with him, but she's such a stubborn woman! And she stayed with Mark after Derek left. And Derek doesn't know that!! Does anyone know if Mark going to be around for a few episodes?
I don't think she'll leave. I think that things have to be tough for Meredith so Addison will probably be sticking around for a while yet.
As for Mark, I'm pretty sure he'll be around for a few episodes, I'm happy to say ;).
One question based on the spoiler that someone will be leaving the show. Alex has shown interest in plastic surgery before, and with that whole thing with Mark and the kid with lionitis (<-? Yes, it reminded me of the movie Mask, too), do you think it will be Alex leaving to go to LA or NY like Mark suggested?
Like miss emme said, the spoilers have been updated and apparently the intern won't be leaving (Yay!!) but just be moving up...I'm very curious! Anyone else think it may be George?
He is the one doing the best right now. But, it could also be Izzy since Addison obviously thinks very highly of her.
It's a great guess though! I think it's really awesome how they do things like dropping the fact that Alex is interested in plastic surgery and Izzy with obstetristics (no idea if that's the right word ;) ). I think it makes the characters real, they have their own seperate interests and you can totally see them breaking off, once out of residency, to their respective positions.
I was totally reminded of the movie 'The Mask' as well. (That is the one with Cher, right?)
chellly 02-20-2006, 04:26 PM Welcome chelly! Darn good show isn't it? The dvd of the first season just came out last week so you can rent and catch up.
Yeah I saw a commercial last night that said it was out, so I've ordered it on Netflix. Hubby will complain, but he'll just need to get over it. ;)
bigbrowndog 02-27-2006, 12:50 AM I had a problem with tonights episode. When it started there was music playing. It played for nearly 5-10 minutes and I couldn't tell if it was a technical problem or if it was supposed to be like that. The people were talking like there was supposed to be dialogue but the only thing I heard was music. Then when Alex came out of Izzy's room the music stopped and the dialogue continued. Did anyone else have this problem or was I the only one?
goddessblue 02-27-2006, 02:05 AM I don't remember that, BBD. But I loved tonight's epi!! OMG I felt so bad for George! But I could relate to Meredith's "realization moment." I really felt bad for them both. I was in hysterics over Addison's poison oak! And Bailey just can't leave the hospital, lol. Also loved how Preston invited George to stay with them. And next week, lol. they bond!

I don't think I had this problem, I believe you were supposed to hear George narrating.
I thought this was a fantastic episode! I loved George's narration! I hope they keep that up, rotating who narrates the stories. I'm not a huge Meredith fan (strange, isn't it. I like everyone else more than her!) so I'd love to hear some other voices throughout the episode. George was so fantastic in this episode! He's got the ladies as puddy in his hand if he'd just get over Meredith! I know, I know, it's not going to happen. He's got it bad.
What did you guys think of the whole Izzy/Alex/Heart patient guy? I think it's really interesting that as soon as Izzy is happy she's willing to change things so quickly. I guess she's not really that happy...
And how hilarious was Addison's little problem? I thought it was great.
Back to George though, how bad did you feel for him throughout that episode? I felt so incredibly bad for him! Meredith treated him terribly and did the worst thing she could to him. Do you guys think she did know about George's feelings for her? I think she was too wrapped up in her own life and herself to think of anyone else. That's why I'm not a big fan of Meredith. She's a very selfish person.
Thoughts?

I loved that they had someone else narrate! I hope they continue with this, having different characters narrate.
It kind of ticked me off that Izzy just blew off Alex when heart transplant guy showed up. Alex really cares for her. I liked the exchange between Alex and Meredith and how Alex said that Izzy had forgiven him and Meredith said she hadn't. How much does Izzy really care for Alex or is she just using him for sex? :ohwell: Izzy's behavior in a way mirrors Meredith's.
I think Meredith has always just been too wrapped up in herself and McDreamy and never really noticed George being in love with her. Yeah, it's selfish. But even when she tried to give it a chance, like she told George at the end of the episode, "Here's George who is so great, I should give this a chance," (paraphrasing, badly, lol). The heart wants who it wants. The most unfortunate part is the moment of realization in this case. Poor George.

It ticked me off to see her blow him off like that too! I felt so bad for Alex cause he totally knew what was going on and Izzy acted like it was nothing and she didn't know he knew and it just made her look like a liar! I think she might just be using him for sex but I think that alot of it is, like what Meredith and Alex had been talking about, that she doesn't trust him entirely and it kind of freaks her out to be in a real relationship since she doesn't feel like she actually has all of him in it. The lack of trust isn't working well in that relationship and I think that if Alex really wants Izzy he's going to have to do something to really prove to her that he can be trusted again.
I think that Meredith could be a good person but McDreamy really messed with her and put her into a spiral of self-pitying behaviour that has made her selfish. It's too bad we didn't get to see what she was like before McDreamy! I have to say that I think one of the things that the show does really really well is their (Meredith and McDreamy) relationship...thing. I think that people want to come back each week to see if they will finally give in and get back together in that episode! There's just so much sexual tension between those two!
miss emme 02-27-2006, 03:42 AM Wasn't this episode amazing, l loved it. The whole Addison, Bailey thing had me ROTFLMFAO. Izzy and Alex: I'm happy to see that Alex really likes Izzy but now Izzy is messed up. Is she with Alex just for sex, I mean she seemed pretty casual when they all came out into the hall after Alex stumbled out of her room pulling up his jeans. I thought that scene was funny. I thought Christina's line to Meredith was good. "he's loved you from day one...you had to know that" I like that new doctor, Dr Torres, and I so hope that George starts a relationship with her. That would be fun and good for him, but he might start doing the same thing Meredith is doing. Well he already was wasn't he. I thought it was cute when Derek went into the room with Addison and she showed him her 'problem' and they both started laughing. And Burkes comment to Christina "your a good person" and her reply "no l'm not" cut to George sleeping on the couch. Funny, funny, funny.
Luanne 02-27-2006, 07:18 PM This was a pretty good episode. I continue to love Christina/Burke. I loved George's voice over, for once I didn't have to listen to Meridith whine. Sometimes I need a break from her.
Meredith = worst. crying. ever!
Izzie is in my bad books right now. First she sleeps with Alex, again, leading him to think they have something going on, and then as soon as Denny shows up, she ditches him. She’s two timing Alex and Denny and she has the right to choose sides? Shut up Izzie, like you have a right to talk. Izzy definitely crossing a line, getting a dolled up for a patient, has she lost her mind. Meredith/Derek inevitable walk toward adultery didn' t bother me.
Where was Dr McSteamy?

I think that Izzy might be unsure of how much she can trust Alex and rather coming up front and telling him that she's messing around on him. Maybe she unconsciously is trying to get back at him.
Where was McSteamy?! Did anyone else think, just for a flash of a second, that Addison slept with him again when she was getting her *ahem* exam and told Bailey about sleeping with McSteamy, even though she meant that it was revenge for the whole thing?
Kristina 02-28-2006, 02:47 AM I haven't seen the latest epi yet, but from what I read it sounds like a good one!!! I do have a feeling however that I will not like Izzie anymore, and like Meredith less than before...
Anyway, does anyone know how many epis they are doing this season??? I defiantly thought the season was ending with Meredith's hand inside the mans chest, but I obviously was wrong.....
miss emme 02-28-2006, 01:35 PM I found this bit on spoilerfix : Mr. McPherson announced that the new season episode order for Grey's Anatomy has been upped to 22. With four episodes unaired from the first season's order, ABC will have 26 original episodes of Grey's available to air in 2005-06.
and if you go to the official Grey's Anatomy site on ABC it says there's been 19 episodes to date so we either get three or seven more. *does a little happy dance* :69:

I thought the same thing at first, MR!!
madameripper 02-28-2006, 03:54 PM Hmm...interesting update to spoilerfix
"It becomes a bad day for Cristina when Bailey instructs her to take care of her baby. Meanwhile, Derek and Addison come to terms with their relationship, and Denny continues to be an obstacle in Alex's getting closer to Izzie."
My biggest question is about what 'terms' Derek and Addison come to!

I am guessing that 'terms' means that they both realize that their marriage is not working, and it obvious that he loves Meridith
miss emme 02-28-2006, 10:27 PM Did anyone watch Oprah today? There was a small segment on Grey's. Getting to go backstage, learning "secrets." So surprised to find out that Justin Chambers~Alex~ is married with five children  and he was in the movie Muskateer. I've got that on VHS I shall watch it again.
aydans_mommy04 02-28-2006, 10:32 PM Oh.. Oh.. guys... I could NOT believe the scene between Meredith and George! I felt soooo bad for him... I want to crawl into hole for him! It was horrible! Oh.. and... and... Meredith.. meeting McDreamy while he was walking his dog.. HELLO.. HORRIBLE move! I want her WITH him as much as the next guy.. but she is playing with FIRE! Purrrreeee FIRE!!!!!!
Stefanie!

I don't think that that's going to happen this soon. I think that it may be more of an understanding of mutual respect and perhaps they will just have it out? The thing with the poison oak seemed to actually bring them closer together. I mean, obviously Meredith is still in the picture but I just don't think it's going to happen so soon.

Nooooooooo! I missed it! I can't believe I missed them on Oprah :(. I had seen the preview and totally wanted to see it! Strangely enough I was looking on imdb on Sunday and found out that Alex has five children, I couldn't believe it! It's so cute, he's a family man! I knew he was in the Muskateer and I really really want to see it again! :D
Kristina 03-01-2006, 06:33 AM I just couldn't help being really annoyed at George, and more annoyed than usual on Meredith.... I never liked her in the first place (she is self-absorbed, egoistic and think everything in the world is against her), and somehow her actions towards George was totally in character, but I was still amazed that she could sink that deep....
George on the other hand is so *can't find the word*, and that kind of people really make me grind my teeth. He almost INVITES everyone to treat him like garbage, and it almost seems like he expects them to. As long as he don't respect himself none else will, and as long as he invites other people to sit on him, they will. He should go along and try getting to know the nice orthopedic, she clearly was interested and seemed like nice girl. But on the other hand, perhaps George only likes girls that he feels will treat him like shit... Perhaps he has some kind of "I don't deserve better"complex?
The one person I was truly disappointed at was Izzy, and yet I totally understood her. How can she trust Alex after what he did? On the other hand, HE seems to be totally into her and wants everything to be good. I guess he has some things to prove before she forgives him. Or, on the other hand, to be cynical, he could just wait until Denny dies (not a very good prognosis for him so...)....
Oh, and I just LOVED Bailey and Addie..... I have to say, the character I most like on the show is probably Bailey. I'm so happy that she seems to be coming back every now and then, despite her being on "maternity leave"...... Or whatever she is on ;)

I agree, I'm not a big fan either. She's totally self absorbed and doesn't care about anyone. She has no concern at all about who she hurts in her own pursuit for happiness.
George on the other hand is so *can't find the word*, and that kind of people really make me grind my teeth. It's sad but true. :( George is sooooo awesome and it's like he doesn't realize it at all! Maybe it's because people like Meredith are so self absorbed that they don't take a second to tell him how awesome he is...
I think that, in a way, he is in a very similar position as Meredith is. He is crazy in love with her but can't be with her and he deals with it in a way that a normal human being would deal with it, like a normal person who is dealing with rejection. It bugged me too that he wouldn't make a move with the obviously interested orthopedic lady who was clearly interested but I guess it makes sense considering how hung up he is on Meredith. He probably just thought she was being kind to him and didn't really realize that she actually was flirting with him. He's so in love with her that he doesn't know what he's missing! I love George. I don't know a single woman who wouldn't want a guy like George in love with them!
The one person I was truly disappointed at was Izzy, and yet I totally understood her. How can she trust Alex after what he did? On the other hand, HE seems to be totally into her and wants everything to be good. I guess he has some things to prove before she forgives him. So true.
"When a series of deaths occur at Seattle Grace, the uncanny events bring out the doctors' superstitious sides and make Izzie nervous about Denny's surgery." That's from Spoilerfix. It's really too bad cause I loved Denny in the other episode he was in and I loved him and Izzy but now I just don't know! I like Alex too. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens with him!
More stuff from spoilerfix....
"Meanwhile, Derek and Addison discuss making a more permanent living arrangement, and Richard treats a very special, old friend." (That was continued on from the above spoiler). Who's Richard? Is that the chief of staff? If it is, could that be Meredith's mom?

Really? Wierd!
I had read Chris O'Donnell but not Drew Lachey. I wonder if he's any good at acting? I bet he'll be a patient.
Anyone catch McDreamy on the Barbara Walters Special tonight? He was great. He's very charismatic.
New spoilerfix update,
In an episode slated to air in March/April...
"A mother tries to protect her oblivious daughter. Lectured, she eventually asks her daughter not to grieve. Students attend a medical seminar. While waiting at the vet's office, a female doctor meets Sam, a confident man who later cooks her breakfast. Sensing her wariness, he doesn't hesitate on treating her with blunt honesty. Addison helps a patient whose mother is connected to the father of a female intern. Eventually confronted, the intern cannot face the conversation and hastily retreats."
I definitely believe that the end bit with Addison and the mother and father of an intern was creative writing, the way they worded it to confuse you!

ScaredofPolarBears 03-03-2006, 11:59 AM GA rocks!
Can't wait for the new ep on Sunday! (is there one? i hope so hehe)
About George/Meredith......
I love both their characters even if Meredith is a bit egotistical and George is a bit of a pushover...I really do NOT like them together! I am a huge fan of Mer/Der and George can be with other people...like that nice nurse hehe (not the slutty one) (actually they could both be slutty for all i know haha)
I think Meredith is so in love with Derek that no one can replace him...she just sleeps with random people to fill her lonely heart but it doesn't work. I also like Addison however so it's hard to want her and McDreamy apart, but it's good to know that she has McSteamy on her side if she does get dumped by McD. I really wanted her to leave Derek then it would be all happy hehe cuz he tried to make the marriage work and it didn't...oh well
George is an awesome character because he is so cute and funny but I just really do not like him with Meredith...I mean it was cute when he was crushing on her but when they were kissing I was like ew! (sorry its just my opinion) so anyway George can be with any one of the bundle of nurses who like him hehehe (but not the old ones...or the old patients who seem to always love him hmmm)
anyway I love the show...GA rocks!

I felt the same way. That scene had a certain Boone/Shannon "eww-ness" factor to it. You know what I mean?
madameripper 03-03-2006, 03:32 PM I do believe the show will not be on this week due to abc's Oscar coverage. Apparently the Oscar coverage will go from 3:00-10:30pm (probably 11).
ScaredofPolarBears 03-06-2006, 04:21 PM aw no GA this week:( They ended the Oscars in time for a new ep but oh well...I did watch enough TV on Sunday...there better be one next week!

Aha, that explains it! I was looking for a new epi, and didn't find any :)
madameripper 03-09-2006, 03:30 AM Ooh! Guys! I can't wait for a new episode this weekend!!
And there is a very, VERY interesting new spoiler.
Unfortunately it's under the general season 2 category so I can't tell you when it's actually going to happen but....
"Derek — after an impromptu exam-room consult with Seattle's best divorce attorney — will come closer than ever to subtracting Addison from his life. But he may be too late. Word is that Meredith is going to develop a thing for a hunky veterinarian. [About the Chris O'Donnell guest-stint:] the latest rumor is that his eight-episode arc might not kick off until the fall"
So, according to this, Chris O'Donnell is going to be a Meredith love interest (poor George!!) and, what I would say is most interesting, is that Dereck is honestly considering leaving Addison!! I'm so happy about that :D.
cadboy 03-09-2006, 05:15 PM I can't wait for a new episode! My fiancee and I have been watching since the beginning and love GA! I hope George goes for the doc who hit on him. She was really cute!
goddessblue 03-13-2006, 02:04 AM Ohhhhh....that woman with the brain anurism and her husband have made Derek notice Addison again. The writers are tricky! And I hate to admit it, but I'm beginning to like Addison. I didn't want to. I didn't for a long time. But it's like the more Meredith becomes annoying, making reckless decisions, the more Addy becomes likeable.
Loved George cutting his hair. But he needs to go somewhere and get it evened, lol.
Nice seeing Duncan from VM! Was blindsided by the twist result of his cutting off his finger! (Can you IMAGINE doing that?!)
What do you guys think of Izzy and Denny? I kinda feel it's wrong, what she's doing. :ohwell: But you can't help how you feel, I guess. I didn't really blame Alex for telling Denny about them and confronting Izzy when she paged him.
miss emme 03-13-2006, 02:24 AM I agree goddessblue, l'm starting to really like Addision I like the ending tonight, they are on the road to healing. I'm not sure how to feel about Izzy and Denny, I feel bad for Alex just when he was trying hard to be a good guy. That whole thing with Christina and Baileys baby was funny. I was praying that the woman with the anurism wasn't going to die. Wasn't that Natalie Cole? I missed the beginning credits. Poor George and his hair (I thought only women did things to their hair after failed relationships) but I'm so excited that he's giving that other doctor a chance. I actually thought "poor Meredith" when they showed her at the end, in bed, so lonely. Shes put herself there true, but l still feel bad for her. I hope things get better for her.
Petragrrl 03-13-2006, 08:21 AM Ohhhhh....that woman with the brain anurism and her husband have made Derek notice Addison again
Was it really that, or was it more that Meredith confided she slept with George? I thought Derek was extremely hurt at that (and perhaps just as disgusted as her other friends), but acted as a "true friend" because he promised her he would...
wicket55 03-13-2006, 09:24 AM Yes it was Natalie Cole - I played the "i know her, i know her..." game until the end. She was actually really good in it! And I am agree with all y'all - I am becoming increasingly annoyed with Meredith and am starting to like Addison. I do not blame Alex for stepping up to Denny and telling him that he and Izzy were an item - but Denny already kinda knew that from the beginning something was happening between them so he was recklessly persuing Izzy regardless... which is a little selfish - getting her involved emotionally with him knowing he may die very soon.
I have a bad habit of going through a break up (or even a series of bad 1st, 2nd, 3rd dates then it ending abruptly like what just happened to me) and cutting my hair off... my hair now is as short as Sienna Millers... oops! haha
Honbun26 03-13-2006, 10:31 AM Cool thread! Just discovered it (you mean we can talk about other shows beside Lost! ).
Meredith has always annoyed me. But, Derek annoys me even more. There he is, stringing 2 women along and never settling on one side or the other. Talk about having your cake and eating it, too. IMHO, he was the bad guy in a bad situation. Now, he says he wants to work things out with Addison, but then he keeps Meredith on as a "friend". Of course, we (and Meredith) discover that he was keeping this a secret from Addison. What he really needs is to have both women leave him and move on to someone else. I'm a little worried that he seems to be on the path of reconcilliation with Addison simply because he believes that Meredith has moved on. I don't think Addison should be the consolation prize.
On the Izzy/Denney/Alex front - I think Alex was being rather territorial insinuating that he and Izzy have a relationship. They don't; they are just sex-buddies (to put it nicely so I don't get warned by the mods). Izzy's been clear that she doesn't want anything else from Alex. Of course, in Alex's eyes, that probably IS a relationship. I like that Izzy is falling for Denney, but worried that she is going to put everything aside for him. She does need to put some professional distance in there or else she will be devasted when/if Denney dies.
goddessblue 03-13-2006, 10:59 AM Natalie Cole!! THANK you!!
Oh! I forgot! I missed the very beginning....how did that fork get in her neck??
Ohhhhh....that woman with the brain anurism and her husband have made Derek notice Addison again
Was it really that, or was it more that Meredith confided she slept with George? I thought Derek was extremely hurt at that (and perhaps just as disgusted as her other friends), but acted as a "true friend" because he promised her he would...
I think it first started when Addy told him about her patient's husband (she was so happy to have SOME guy pay attention to her, it was sort of sad, you know?) then when Derek and Meredith were talking and he saw Addison talking to him, he kind of did a double take. Then his patient's husband talked to him about not noticing his wife and not wanting to lose her. When Meredith finally confessed about George, I think that was the kicker. Not so much that Meredith had "moved on" per se, but that she, at least, is trying to.
Honbun26 03-13-2006, 11:14 AM Goddess - Natalie Cole and her husband had found out about the brain aneurism and were visitng Seattle to see the Needle (?). Anyway, they were trying to live life to the fullest. They were at breakfast or lunch and Natalie decided to drop to all fours under the table and service her husband. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). She said she had like this brain flash and her jaws clamped down tight and she couldn't let go. Her husband said he stabbed her 'cause that was the only thing he could think of.
goddessblue 03-13-2006, 11:17 AM Thanks Honbun!! I saw he had an ice pack *ahem* there and the fork in her neck....then I had to run out of the room, so I missed the rest!!
ScaredofPolarBears 03-13-2006, 12:52 PM haha Natalie Cole! Thats who it was! Thanks guys..I did that thing too where I kinda recognized her haha...omg I was so surprised to see Duncan from Veronica Mars on there! He needs more acting jobs now that he got kicked off...poor guy...he chose a good show! lol
about the McDreamy triangle:
I have always been wanting Meredith and Derek together, but the way the writers are, I now like Addison too! This sucks! I think Mer/Der were so cute together though:rolleyes: ...it's sad that Derek can't just tell her no. I like seeing them as "friends" cuz I know they still love each other, but I liked it better when Addison was mean. Now it's hard to hate her. I am really hoping she cheats on him again and he leaves her for good, just so everything gets settled. Why does every show have to have a triangle? grr:mad:
about Izzy/Alex/Denny:
I really like Denny and although Alex and Izzy are cute together most times, Alex was being an a** when Izzy confronted him about what he said to Denny. I almost hope Denny dies next week so that Izzy can move on because her relationship with him is doomed cuz of his weak heart. He's really a sweet guy though. Poor Denny and his heart. If they could fix it and make him healthy again that would be nice but I doubt it:frown:
madameripper 03-13-2006, 02:12 PM Loved George cutting his hair.
I thought it was great to see Duncan too! It surprised me! :D That was a really sad bit, mainly because of his reaction to knowing that his career was over :(.
I like George's hair long :(. But it was great that he did it cause it's a step toward getting over Meredith which I can't wait for because she's such a cow!
You can totally feel that Izzy's heart really is with Denny. It's like Alex was sort of a second best. Like maybe she'd be happy with him but only if Denny weren't there because he's where her heart actually is.
I agree goddessblue, l'm starting to really like Addision I like the ending tonight, they are on the road to healing.
I'm starting to like her as well, I think the writers are doing a really great job of that because at first you couldn't help dislike her since you knew Meredith so well and wanted her to be with McDreamy but they are slowly letting us in on who Addison is and it's making her more likeable!
Was it really that, or was it more that Meredith confided she slept with George? I thought Derek was extremely hurt at that (and perhaps just as disgusted as her other friends), but acted as a "true friend" because he promised her he would...
I definitely think that that had something to do with what Derek said at the end as well. I think that that's one of the realistic aspects of this show, the fact that there are lots of different things happening at the same time that work together to adjust perceptions of the characters.
Cool thread! Just discovered it (you mean we can talk about other shows beside Lost! ).
Welcome! Glad you found your way here.
On the Izzy/Denney/Alex front - I think Alex was being rather territorial insinuating that he and Izzy have a relationship. She does need to put some professional distance in there or else she will be devasted when/if Denney dies.
You know what bugged me about all this, the fact that Izzy is still involved in his case. If she was this involved in the patient she wouldn't be allowed in his surgery, etc. because she would make emotional decisions! It's like how Doctors can't operate on any relatives.
Anyway, that aside, I think that Izzy sent mixed messages to Alex. She did make it seem like she wanted a relationship for a bit there but at the same time she was interesting in being sex buddies.
I think it first started when Addy told him about her patient's husband (she was so happy to have SOME guy pay attention to her, it was sort of sad, you know?) then when Derek and Meredith were talking and he saw Addison talking to him, he kind of did a double take. Not so much that Meredith had "moved on" per se, but that she, at least, is trying to.
All the things added together to make him get to this realization.
Goddess - Natalie Cole and her husband had found out about the brain aneurism and were visitng Seattle to see the Needle (?).
The Needle refers to the Seattle Space Needle see it here (http://www.pcimagenetwork.com/seattle/seattle5.jpg), it's a major building in the city. It's definitely an attraction. You can actually see it very often in Grey's Anatomy when they show the city shots.

yeah i think she did get too involved and next ep they won't let her in on the surgery. that is why in the preview she is like "who died?" ....maybe...

madameripper 03-14-2006, 01:20 PM An interesting new development, according to spoilerfix...
"My sources tell me that later on this season, we are going to find out that one of the main characters is hiding a secre… One that they have kept in the closet… [The person is] bisexual, actually, from what I hear. My sources tell me that in an upcoming episode, we are going to meet this character’s same-sex love interest." - the source is Kristen at E! and as 'Lost' fans, I think we know what kind of spoilers she tends to provide.
My question is, if this is true, who could it be? I can't think of any character that we have not yet seen in a relationship. I mean, there's always the possibility that that person is cheating but I don't think that that's what they mean.
Any guesses?

MR, I love when you post these spoilers, cuz I'm always forgetting to go to spoiler fix!
Coming from Kristen...hmmmm....makes me wonder. She's 50/50, ya know?
My guesses?
For some reason, I can't see it being one of the guys. Alex seems too macho and George too innocent. I think that Iggy, being the beautiful former model, would be too obvious. I'd place my bet on either Meredith or Christina. But I don't know....all I can say is if this spoiler turns out to be true....WOW.
ETA:
When I first read your post, I took it to mean one of the interns...I just reread it, but it just says main character. So now I'm really going Hmmmmmmmmmm............

I'm so glad you enjoy my little updates! :D
I definitely agree that Kristin is pretty much a 50/50 type deal. I think that this could make for a very interesting storyline if it is true but I really don't know.
I think that it will be a female as well, but I really hope it's a male because male bisexual characters are seriously lacking in television today.
The part of Kristin's spoiler that is making me confused is "My sources tell me that in an upcoming episode, we are going to meet this character’s same-sex love interest", maybe it's just be but this made it sound like the character was already in the same-sex relationship and that the person they are with is going to come to Seattle Grace.
It's certainly a mystery!
And you're right GB, the fact that it says 'main character' may mean a non-intern which is really interesting.
Who could it be, who could it be?
Kristina 03-15-2006, 04:59 AM I have to say that I was very upset with Izzy in this epi. OK - she cares about the guy BUT she cannot go on being his doctor under the circumstances!!!! That is unethical to say the least! I really liked what Alex said to her, and he was so right when he said to her that someone had to, because she is so emotional that she cannot see clear. I do however blame Burke somewhat, he knows that she is totally into Denny and should have (would have in real life) cut her of the case. What Izzy does in her own time is her decision, but she cannot be Denny's doc anymore.....
As strange as it sounds, I do think Alex was considering them as a couple... They mostly had sex, but they were also flirting and hanging out. To some guys that IS the definition of a relationship.
Regarding the neverending story of Merediths miseries; The character is becoming more and more boring, more and more uninteresting and definitely more annoying than I though was possible.... I have said it before and will say it again, she is a egocentric spoiled kid, who think all of the world is against her and somehow feeds of the misery.
And I have to agree with you who's starting to like Addison, so do I! She is growing on me, and I LOVE her little talks/arguments with Bailey ;) Actually, I'm so pleased to see Bailey again, I really like her! The scene with Bailey, Addison and Richard was wonderful :)
Finally, regarding the spoilers;
I have a feeling that the definition "main" can mean just about anything.....
ScaredofPolarBears 03-15-2006, 03:39 PM for the record I still like Meredith, even if she is a self-centered gal...
about the spoilies:
yeah I wonder how "main" this character is. It would be funny if it were like Addison or Richard but I doubt it....maybe its Denny! lol we don't know much about him so it's possible
goddessblue 03-15-2006, 04:07 PM for the record I still like Meredith, even if she is a self-centered gal...
For the record, I do, too. But she's been so self destructive lately!! I hate to say it, but Meredith reminds me of myself a loooooong time ago. So I kinda "get" the why of the things she does sometimes. The making stupid choices, thinking they'll make it better, I mean. Not so much the selfishness part of it.
100%
As strange as it sounds, I do think Alex was considering them as a couple... They mostly had sex, but they were also flirting and hanging out. To some guys that IS the definition of a relationship. Yes!! Exactly! And that's what I think I was trying to say in my other post, lol. I don't blame Alex at all for what he said to Izzy when she paged him. Like he said, "Someone had to."
ETA: clarification
madameripper 03-15-2006, 05:01 PM As strange as it sounds, I do think Alex was considering them as a couple... They mostly had sex, but they were also flirting and hanging out. To some guys that IS the definition of a relationship.
I agree. I think that Alex honestly believed that they were in a relationship.
Regarding the neverending story of Merediths miseries; The character is becoming more and more boring, more and more uninteresting and definitely more annoying than I though was possible.... I have said it before and will say it again, she is a egocentric spoiled kid, who think all of the world is against her and somehow feeds of the misery.
for the record I still like Meredith, even if she is a self-centered gal...
I agree. She's self centered, boring, uninteresting and awful! She's a mean and selfish person in everything she does.
Finally, regarding the spoilers;
I have a feeling that the definition "main" can mean just about anything.....
about the spoilies:
yeah I wonder how "main" this character is. It would be funny if it were like Addison or Richard but I doubt it....maybe its Denny! lol we don't know much about him so it's possible
The question I have about this is....
the spoiler says "My sources tell me that in an upcoming episode, we are going to meet this character’s same-sex love interest." and the part that I'm curious about is in bold, we are going to meet their same sex love interest. This suggests to me that they are already in a relationship with the person of the same sex and that we are going to meet the person soon. I guess it could mean that they are going to get into a same sex relationship but it sounds to me like they are already in a relationship. Let's go through the characters and figure this one out:
Burke: dating Christina
Christina: dating Burke
George: in love with Meredith
Alex: wants to be in a relationship with Izzy, slept with nurse lady
Izzy: interesting in Alex and Denny
Nurse lady: slept with Alex and George
Meredith: in love with Derek, slept with several other men including George
Addison: in love with Derek, had an affair with McSteamy
Derek: been with both Meredith and Addison, arguably in love with Meredith
Bailey: married, just had a baby
Richard (Chief of Staff): married and had an affair with Meredith's mother
Am I missing anyone? Is there any of these characters that have given any indication of the possibility of being bisexual?
Steph_Bacon 03-15-2006, 10:09 PM This is a great thread, so nice that I can discuss all the shows that I like on one board and not have to deal with the childish fighting and insults and other bad things on the ABC boards! :D
Is anyone else ticked at how George is handling the whole him and Mer had sex thing? I mean I think he is acting like a child, he won't listen to her, and it's not like they tripped and accidently wound up naked on-top of each other...they were both willing participents (well, until she started crying...)
This is my first time posting a spoiler so hopefully I did it right...
I think that the bi-sexual main character is either Christina or Burke, Christina because I can see her being bi more easily then Mer or Izzie and Burke just because wouldn't that be totally out of left-field? I think that the writers would throw that in just for shock value...or it could be Dr. Torres (Georges new like/love interest
I hope that made sense, it usually does in my head and not always when it is written down :blushing:
madameripper 03-16-2006, 01:31 AM So, I'm hearing now that someone is going to die. I heard this from two of my fellow GA fans but forgot to ask them wear they heard it. There is nothing of this sort on spoilerfix so I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything?
Maybe they had heard that someone was leaving and they jumped to this conclusion when we actually know that the person is only leaving the intern program. This is most likely.
Has anyone heard anything?
Kristina 03-16-2006, 03:09 AM madameripper - The nurse's name is Olivia :)
Regarding the other spoiler;
It is very possible it is Denny that dies..... Actualy, I think that is the most probable death on GA right now. On cannot exclude accidents etc, but Denny is dying right now :/
Steph_Bacon - I agree! I think he is reacting that way because he has been in love for so long and had this wild fantasies about how great everything would be if he only got Meredith, and everything went wrong. Nothing became as great as he expected and he probably feels really annoyed about the whole situation. He wants to blame Meredith, but I have a feeling he is starting to realize that he has been a bit of a fool himself, and none likes to feel stupid......
ScaredofPolarBears 03-16-2006, 03:27 AM I think that the bi-sexual main character is either Christina or Burke, Christina because I can see her being bi more easily then Mer or Izzie and Burke just because wouldn't that be totally out of left-field? I think that the writers would throw that in just for shock value...or it could be Dr. Torres (Georges new like/love interest
hmmmm...
I didn't think about George's new love interest! Right now she seems like the most likely to be bisexual. She always looks like she is hiding something! I don't know how "main" a character she is, but it makes sense to me...
Petragrrl 03-16-2006, 11:10 AM Steph_Bacon - Personally, I can somewhat understand where George is coming from... to be rejected is one (painful) thing, but to be cried at like that during what was supposed to be the fulfilment of his romantic dreams is just... plain disgusting.
How can the poor chap not take it personally? He's not the most secure and self-confident person to start with... and that experience was just a lethal blow to his fragile ego. I don't know if he's quite there yet to take some responsibility for the fiasco... right now, he's just hurt! :sadwalk:
madameripper - If this spoiler is really true, then my money's on either Denny or George's new love interest... but neither one is technically a "main" character...
Honbun26 03-16-2006, 01:11 PM Petra - I agree with you on George. Can you imagine? Here, the girl of your dreams has taken you into her bed - and she is a very willing participant - then she starts to cry! Oh no, she cries, its not you! Uh, how can it not be when we are about to have sex? That would hurt even the strongest ego.
To make matters worse, she is not only George's dream girl, but one of his best friends. The problem with Meredith is that she leaps before she looks. Usually, no one ends up hurt. But this time, she did it and she hurt George. As I ramble on, I think maybe this is what really hurt George, not the sex part. But, the fact that he was yet another man that she rolled into her bed to help her numb her psychic pain.
madameripper 03-17-2006, 02:53 PM More spoilerfix information...
"Chris O'Donnell,] the former Head Case, is headed to Grey's. To keep a lid on the plot, execs won't say whom he's playing or how long he'll be sticking around. What's more, to ensure that O'Donnell won't blab, they're not making him available to the press until after his April 2 debut."
and
"My casting spies are telling me producers are looking for an actress to play a woman in her forties who shows up at Seattle Grace with a bisexual bombshell up her sleeve about one of the female interns"
So it sounds like the bisexual character will be a female intern, which one is it?
My money is on Izzy.

madameripper 03-24-2006, 01:38 AM Did anyone watch on Sunday? I missed a couple of parts and was wondering if someone could help out...
Sure did!
What'd ya miss?
I heard that the finale this season, which airs in May, will be 3 hours long! They will play part on the Sunday and part on the Monday! :D
goddessblue 03-24-2006, 02:26 AM I must confess....this is the first episode I've ever missed. I have no idea what happened last Sunday.
Help!
madameripper 03-24-2006, 03:25 AM I must confess....this is the first episode I've ever missed. I have no idea what happened last Sunday.
Help!
Okay! So I've got alot to catch you guys up on ;).
The very beginning of the episode had Addison, Derek, Burke and Bailey in surgery. They were all seperate doing their things but all of them had the same result, deaths. 4 deaths in the first 2 minutes of the show, and these deaths were a major concern the rest of the episode. Basically, there is a rumour that deaths come in 3's and 7's and since there have already been 4 everyone was expecting 3 more deaths before the end of the day. Addison gave everyone who had lost someone (Burke, Bailey, Derek, herself and Meredith) 'Ju-ju' which was some sort of hot cocoa that she would give to people in New York when they had had a death and it was basically supposed to wipe the slate clean so they would have no more deaths. Meredith was wierded out by this and although she took the drink from Addison, she threw it in the garbage rather than drink it. She didn't want anything to do with Addison. Meanwhile, Addison had it in her head that since Meredith and Derek were friends that she would be friends with Meredith as well!
Just as the interns with Bailey were waiting around for someone to come in the ER, Christina made a comment about how quiet it was and all of the sudden a whole bunch of people came into the ER! One was a woman who claimed to have been struck by lightening, one was a guy who had been in a car accident and at the same time Izzy and Alex got paiged about Denny.
So...
Meredith took the woman struck by lightening and Christina the guy who had been in the car accident...I actually don't remember where George went but he was still avoiding Meredith.
Izzy and Alex went to Denny who was having really bad pains, they did an exam and learnt that he really needed surgery. Meanwhile, there were rumours flying around the hospital about deaths coming in 3's and 7's so people were cancelling surgeries left right and center! (It was making Richard, CoS, angry. He said there would be no more cancellations unless they were through him!) So Izzy began to panic a bit that Denny would have to be under the knife on such a dangerous day.
Meredith is dealing with the woman who was struck by lightening, in talking to her they learnt that her injuries were nothing like someone who was struck my lightening (a broken leg and some scratches and bruises). Basically they confronted her about that and she changed her story. She said that a branch was struck by lightening and fell on her and then she changed it again to she was in a tree when the branch got struck my lightening and it was when she was trying to get into her boyfriends place so she could surprise him. She was told that she absolutely must have surgery (on her spleen). We eventually find out that basically, she's a stalker. Her boyfriend is not her boyfriend (Meredith phones him and he says something like he doesn't even know the girl) but she absolutely refuses to have surgery until after midnight because of the 7 deaths thing. This is definitely against Bailey and Meredith's wishes because they know that she may not have until midnight, so basically she might die.
So she gets her leg fixed by the cute girl that likes George (what's her name again?) was setting her leg and she had already told George that he blew his chance with her by not calling. So while she's setting the leg George goes in to talk to her and she's sort of giving him the cold shoulder and the girl who fell out of the tree is talking about how George blew it with her. Then Meredith walks in and George walks out.
Christina is going crazy about George living with her and Burke and wants him out! She takes Burkes surgery cap and hides it and Burke is pretty upset about it because he believes that the cap gives him good luck in surgery (and since he lost the person earlier that morning without the cap, his beliefs were confirmed). Christina tells him that she doesn't believe in luck and Burke still tries to talk her into giving them to him. She says she will if he kicks George out. Burke decides to go to George who and get him to get the caps instead. So George follows Christina around and they end up in the womens bathroom (he was following her everywhere! He even followed her to a seat for lunch where Meredith was because he said it was more important! :D). He's fighting her for the cap, he thinks she has it on her body somewhere, when (of course) his nurse came out of a stall! She was very wierded out and walked away with George studdering over himself.
George then goes through her locker at work to try and find the caps and she says that she won't give them up no matter what and that they will never find them. Angry, he storms out and runs into a concerned Izzy. He tells her why he's so distracted/angry (Burke needs his cap to do surgery successfully) and this gets Izzy because Burke is doing Denny's surgery and she wants it to go well. She basically grabs Christina and throws her into a corner and told her that if she didn't give up the hats she'd beat her down because she wants Burke to be at his best for the surgery. It was hilarious! She went on and on about how she grew up in a trailer park, it was really great. So this worked and next thing you knew Christina gave Burke back his cap.
After Alex realized how emotional Izzy was about Denny going into surgery he basically told Denny to his face that he was most likely going to die going into this surgery. He was extremely pessimistic and mean to him as he explained to him all the technical stuff that was going to go wrong and said stuff to make him think that Izzy was in love with him because he was a patient and if he weren't than she wouldn't be in love with him and that as soon as he was gone she'd go back to Alex. This freaked him out, needless to say.
Just as he was being rolled into surgery he basically said goodbye to Dr.whateverIzzy'slastnameis.
Izzy was furious! She went to Alex and asked him what he said to Denny and he told her. Izzy said that she had had enough and she broke up with him. Rightfully so too, cause in my opinion, Alex was an asshole to poor Denny.
The storyline concerned the fellow who came into the ER after being in a car accident dealt with an obsessive compulsive disorder. He was saying things over and over again and he had to do certain things over and over again. Basically they learnt that he had a brain problem so he was going to go into surgery with Derek.
Oh! I just remembered another storyline! Richard was told by George (when all those people came into the ER, another one was a woman who was throwing up blood) that the woman who was throwing up blood knew him and wanted to speak to him. Richard found out the name of the person and looking very surprised told George that he would take her as his patient. He went to see her and we learnt that he was an alcoholic (BECAUSE of Meredith's Mom!!!) and that the woman throwing up blood was his sponsor. Because of her own drinking past she had a serious problem with her liver and Richard said that he could do this one particular surgery but it was rare, he had done 9 and lost 5 of the patients. She decides that she has no choice and the surgery will go. Before the surgery she calls in an emergency AA meeting and Richard joins in (the woman is concerned about Richard because he tell sher he's been seeing Meredith's mom again lately). Richard doesn't want people to know about him but goes in for the meeting anyway.
Richard is performing a rarely before performed surgery on his friend.
So the woman who 'fell out of the tree'/was stalking a guy in the evening has her spleen (that they needed to operate on) burst and has to go into surgery immediately. Bailey is performing the surgery, Meredith is also on hand.
Denny was going into heart surgery with Burke, Izzy and Alex were scrubbing in and arguing between themselves and Burke told them that neither of them were going to be in his surgery.
Car accident/OCD guy goes into surgery with Derek operating.
So 4 deaths have already happened and the pattern is that 3 more will happen. Who will it be?
.
.
.
.
Richard walks out with his head down and then he smiles! His AA woman is alive! He tells the AA memebers who are elated.
Bailey and Meredith walk out...they lost the spleen woman. She should have had her surgery when they told her to.
Izzy was sitting by herself in a corner somewhere crying and she was told that they are at 6 deaths.
Next comes Derek, another loss.
Burke leaves the surgery a success! Denny made it!
Izzy is soooo happy! She's crying when Denny wakes up because she's so glad he made it. It gets to just past midnight and only 6 people die in total. They broke the pattern.
Later we see the interns in the change room, George completely ignores Meredith, as usual. And Alex FLIPS out on him! He starts screaming at him telling him how pathetic he is and how much he hates him and that if it wouldn't get him kicked out of the program he'd hit George!
Alex storms out.
We then see George walking up to his nurse lady and trying to talk to her, after a bit of a realization based on Alex's attack. She gives him the cold shoulder and is pretty angry at him. She walks away but she's still in his eye sight. He pulls out his cell phone and calls her and apologizes profusely for not calling and asks her out! She forgives him and they plan on a date! :D
We see Christina leaving the hospital with Burke a little later and he tells Christina that if she wants, he'll tell George to leave their place but after seeing how Alex treated George earlier, she doesn't want to do it and tells him that it's okay, he can stay.
Phew! I think that's about everything! :D
goddessblue 03-24-2006, 11:23 AM Wow!! MR you rock!! Thank you for the synopsis of the episode!!!
miss emme 03-24-2006, 12:10 PM Awesome MR! I was cracking up when George and Christina were in the washroom and he was looking for the hat on her. He had his hands down her shirt and Christina was saying "ok thats my boob, you're touching my boob" And poor George I know Alex was harsh but it worked! I thought it was cute the way he was talking to Dr. Torres on the phone and how she was listening but not answering but at the end she smiled. I was like "Yaaay George" I was like :shock1: when l found out Richard was an alcoholic.
Steph_Bacon 03-24-2006, 02:00 PM Holy Cow, MR thank you!!! That was awesome!

I thought that was hilarious too! George was awesome as he followed Christina around. I loved how he just kept popping up. Watching Izzy attack Christina was pretty awesome though too. :D
Alex was really harsh, but you're right! It did work. I just think that Alex was venting his anger over Izzy on poor George though.
Torres! I couldn't think of her name at all. Dr.Torres. That was really cute! I'm glad George finally made his move.
I was surprised too! I didn't see it coming. And the fact that it was basically because of Meredith's Mom was the icing on that cake!
wildjinx 03-24-2006, 07:13 PM Okay!
Rightfully so too, cause in my opinion, Alex was an other to poor Denny.
Richard is performing a rarely before performed surgery on his friend.

madameripper 03-25-2006, 02:57 AM Ooh! You guys are too sweet to me!
One thing I forgot to mention (I tried to edit my post but apparently adding this made it too long!):
At the end of the episode Addison gave Bailey, Meredith and Derek all more 'Ju-Ju' (since they had both lost their second patients of the day). Meredith stood and watched as Derek and Meredith shared his 'Ju-Ju' and then walked away (he looked back at Meredith though!), Meredith then took a sip of her 'Ju-Ju' and then threw it out!
I think that was supposed to be like her considering giving a friendly relationship with Addison and then realizing that it's just not in her yet.
miss emme 03-25-2006, 03:05 AM I agree with you MR. It was like she was just about ready to try and then....no.
I just have to share this with everyone. Theres an amazing young lady on Myspace that devotes her page to Grey's Anatomy and she gets interviews and such. I found this on her blog and l think its Shonda's blog. It was too good not to share.

So tonight's episode was written by the brilliant Jim Parriott. But Jim's off helping some other television show get on its feet these days soyou're hearing from me about this episode.
There are a lot of things I could tell you about the history of Ellis and Richard. I spend hours, days, MONTHS thinking about these two characters. What happened between them 20 years ago is enough to fill a whole television series all on its own. I have a secret fond wish to write and publish The Diaries of Ellis Grey. That woman fascinates me. And Richard's love for her fascinates me. I get why they fell in love the two of them were surgical interns at a time when most surgical interns were white males. They were different, they were outsiders and they had each other. Of course they fell in love. That their love didn't work out, that Richard failed to leave his spouse after Ellis left hers, that Ellis' departure from Seattle Grace drove Richard to his alcoholic bottomwell, that makes for a juicy history.
What? You were surprised about Richard's alcoholism? I was too. I was sitting at home late one night with a sick kid when the writers called me with this idea. Richard is an alcoholic. I was all, NO HE'S NOT! And they pitched the idea again. And they pitched again. And again. These writers of mine, they are willful and determined (especially that damned Krista Vernoff). They wouldn't shut up about it. "He's totally an alcoholic and here's why." I hate them sometimes. Especially when they are right. Because Richard is totally an alcoholic and now I see why. Damn them.
And then there is Denny. Denny. Ah, Denny
Oops. Sorry. I went into my fantasy world for a moment there. The fantasy world in which I am Izzie and Denny is well, Denny and he loves me with that damaged heart of his. Do you love Denny as much as I do? Because I LOVE Denny. Yeah, I love the actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan and all but what I really love is Denny. I love the sexy heart-needing dude in the hospital bed in a way that is not natural and definitely not healthy and most certainly not sane. I love Denny with my full whole soul in a "you jump, I jump" kinda way that means there should be a restraining order in place to keep me away from him. You can understand Alex's rage and jealousy. Because there is nothing he can do to compete. In real life, the actor who plays Alex (Justin Chambers) is the sweetest, kindest, most normal family man in the world. But the guy he plays on the show is a vicious mess. And battling a drawling, sexy, sweet heart patient for Izzie's affections is starting to wear on him. All I can say is wait until you see what happens next.
The Mer/Der of it all. They are friends. Really. Kind of. Well, not so much friends. But they think they are friends. You should maybe take note of the fact that Derek didn't take it so well when Meredith told him about George. You should maybe note that he got a look on his face. And you should remember that I said that EVERYTHING on our show comes back around again. That's all I'm saying. You just remember that.
Bailey and her baby. A lot of you wrote to rant about the fact that Bailey brings her baby to work and that babies don't belong in hospitals. I'd like to gently remind you that hospitals are filled with babies. Hospitals are, in fact, where people go to push babies out into the world. Babies start out in hospitals. Soyou know, deal with it. Plus, the very first idea I had when Chandra Wilson (who plays Bailey) told me she was pregnant was that I'd love to see Bailey bringing her baby to work and challenging the Chief when he suggested it was inappropriate. As a mother myself, I have a thing about that. You want me to work? Fine. Great. No problem. But see this tiny baby right here? This baby comes along with me.
Hmmm. Okay, that's all I can think of to say about this episode for tonight. My brain is kinda empty. See, I just went to the TV Land Awards where Grey's Anatomy was named the Future Classic of 2006 and I'm still totally FREAKING OUT. I mean, the entire cast of Dallas was there. And the entire cast of Cheers. And, I kid you not, the entire cast of GOOD TIMES. Yes, GOOD TIMES. Remember Janet Jackson and the iron burn on her back? Remember when James died? It was AWESOME. I need to lie down and process the fact that I was in the same room as JJ. And JR. Do you know that 350 million people watched the episode where it was revealed who shot JR?
I have so much writing to do if I'm even going to begin to think about coming anywhere close to the universe of that kind of super amazing television history. I should, in fact, be writing right now

That is a great post! This woman sounds very interesting! :D
There were so many interesting things said in there as well, from the amount of history that must be created for Richard and Ellis (I couldn't remember her name in that recap post for the life of me!) to the way she talks about things coming back up at a later time (which is very 'Lost' of them!). I'm very curious as to how things are going to play out with Derek Meredith after reading this.
I love that she loves Denny as much as we do! I love Denny! :D
The actor who plays Denny is going to be on 'Supernatural'!! He is going to be the boys father.
Thanks for sharing miss emme!
miss emme 03-25-2006, 05:09 PM Your welcome MR. Do you watch Supernatural? The guy who plays Denny/The Dad has been on I think four episodes to date. I didn't recognize him at first until I read somewhere he was playing both characters.

I watch it when I can catch it! I really like the show but it's on at a bad time for me.
I didn't know he'd been in so many episodes!! I'm going to have to get watching ;).
The way I figured it out was through a commercial.

Nope, they film over on the West Coast in BC. It seems that for the most part it's in the Lower Mainland. Vancouver, West Van, Coquitlem, etc.

miss emme 03-29-2006, 12:51 PM Hey I got some spoiler stuff for you guys:
Question: When does Kate Walsh's contract with Grey's Anatomy end? I'm a huge Addison fan and really don't want her to go.BTW, I'd totally have an affair with you....But it'd just be for the scoops. Chelsea
Ausiello: That basically makes you a monger, Chelsea (not that there's anything wrong with that). I think it's safe to say that Addison (who's rapidly becoming my new favorite character) will be around for the foreseeable future, especially in light of the rumor that Eric Dane (aka McSteamy) has signed on to appear in at least 13 episodes next season. Naturally, no one at ABC is confirming, but the way the Grey's writers gush about him in their weekly blog, it would hardly come as a surprise.
Question: Who's the bisexual intern on Grey's Anatomy? It's not that obvious to some people. Megan
Ausiello: Funny story. I got an e-mail from a Grey's publicist on Friday insisting that there are "no plans for any kind of same-sex relationship this season with any of the main characters. Joe, the bartender, remains happily involved with another man though." In other words, it's possible this bisexual plot was scrapped soon after it was hatched. Of course, it's also possible Shonda Rhimes had a gun pointed at that publicist's head when he was typing that e-mail.
Question: I'm dying for scoop about the two-part, three-hour Grey's Anatomy season finale. Dr. Ausiello, I need some emergency treatment, stat!-Greg
Ausiello: We may meet a new female surgeon who walks like Cristina, talks like Cristina, fights like Cristina and has the same taste in men as Cristina. On the patient front, there may be a huge surgery with something like 11 surgeons involved one of whom may be the doc who subbed for Bailey while she was on leave.
orliknight09 03-29-2006, 01:01 PM ^oooh! very juicy spoilers! thanks, miss emme!
LostFan_Jamie 03-30-2006, 07:51 PM yes, thank you. I cant wait for Sunday, it's a new episode! then aren't any new ones for three weeks:frown:
Steph_Bacon 03-30-2006, 09:07 PM yes, thank you. I cant wait for Sunday, it's a new episode! then aren't any new ones for three weeks:frown:
Really? Well that kind of sucks...:(
I am intrigued with the spoilers above...the people on the ABC board (I read there because when they are fighting it is really funny...) are still talking about The bisexual character and who that person is...also on Spoilerfix.com they have a spoiler about the woman who has apparently been cast to play the other half of the bisexual pari
Anyone know what will be happening in the next one? CTV doesn't show previews for new shows when they pre-empt the re-runs :(
madameripper 03-31-2006, 02:39 PM Thanks miss emme! :D
Hey I got some spoiler stuff for you guys:
Interesting part about this is the other spoilers that say that "Derek — after an impromptu exam-room consult with Seattle's best divorce attorney — will come closer than ever to subtracting Addison from his life." (according to spoilerfix and Ausiello).
I'm guessing that reason that it says 'closer than ever' is because it doesn't actually happen! I'm guessing things are going to heat up with McSteamy though.
Hehehe! I love that they try and fool us like this! It makes it all so interesting. :D

I could swear that I heard somewhere that it's Christina's sister who is coming.
It makes sense with this spoiler.
I'm very curious about the 11 person surgery! What could it possibly be for?
LostFan_Jamie 03-31-2006, 06:32 PM well, its meredith's sister, right? and i thought they were cutting out the bi thing. maybe not.......did anyone see the preview? of george and that girl (whats her name? i keep thinking its callie. does anyone know?)
does anyone know when the reappearance of mcsteamy will happen?
madameripper 04-01-2006, 02:31 AM Hm.....let's see.
well, its meredith's sister, right? and i thought they were cutting out the bi thing. maybe not.......did anyone see the preview? of george and that girl (whats her name? i keep thinking its callie. does anyone know?)
I heard that...
the character was Christina's sister but I don't really know!
The spoiler said that they resemble Christina in alot of ways so it seems logical that it would be her sister.
According to Ausiello, there was a retractment statement about the bi sexual thing but we know that the cast and crew have been told to try and throw us off as much as possible so we really don't know what to believe!
does anyone know when the reappearance of mcsteamy will happen?
I'm guessing it will be the next new episode but if not then I'm almost positive it's the one after that...so basically, I don't know! :D I just know that, according to spoilerfix:
"03/08 - Derek — after an impromptu exam-room consult with Seattle's best divorce attorney — will come closer than ever to subtracting Addison from his life."
The above spoiler if for the 30th and I'm guessing it will have something to do with McSteamy doing something.
We'll see though! He's signed on for 13 episodes so we should be getting more of him soon.
aydans_mommy04 04-02-2006, 11:02 PM If you didn't see tonights epi.. don't read any further!!!!!!!
Tonights Epi was soooooo great!!!!!!!! I love Izzy and what's the "need a new organ" guys name? They are soo cute together! And the Vet that Meredith meets is totally hot! Woooooooooo hoooo... they are totally gonna hook up!! Oh.. and George and his new love interest... totally cute together!!! George is HER Dr. Dreamy!!! :) Yay.. go george!!
Carencey 04-03-2006, 01:20 AM All I can say is if my vet was that hot, I would become a hypochondriac on my cat's behalf.

His name is Denny and I luv him! He's so cute. And the vet that is Chris O'Donnell, his hotness went up like a thousand points with me. I love the Chief saying "they call me Dr. Webber". LOL
miss emme 04-03-2006, 02:28 AM Oh My God, I cried the big ugly cry tonight. The whole thing with Bailey..Shes got a soft spot.. and Meredith with her dad and mom and George telling her dad about her and the talk the mom was giving her daughter, my sleeves are soggy. I was so against Denny coming between Alex and Izzy. If l was to ever join a ship that would have been it but after tonight I'm starting to really like Denny and Izzy together. I feel bad for Alex but hes got some inner demons to exorcise. Twice now hes been harsh, but honest and its worked but its not going to work every time. And the bright spot in the show was George and Callie. I really like Callie shes a awesome addition to the cast. They were so cute together at Christina and Burkes place doing the victory dance together.
That was Chris O'Donnell :surprise: holy freak what happened to him??????? He never use to look like that before. I laughed when she looked up and saw him then started to knit furiously Ha,ha too funny. Has anyone heard if he's going to be on more than once? I hope he's around more often.

Wow! I didn't recognize him either! He was kind of cute in a baby-faced way before, but a couple years and a little facial hair have certainly done good things for him. :)
goddessblue 04-03-2006, 01:14 PM *drools over Chris O'Donnell*
He's going to be on for a number of episodes. Read in TV Guide a few weeks ago...8 I think?
miss emme 04-04-2006, 12:20 AM Yaaa for that l could get use to looking at him. This was sent to me on Myspace. Its the blog from Blythe Robe (as you can see) who wrote Sundays show.
Grey Matter: http://www.greyswriters.com/2006/04/from_blythe_rob.html
Carencey 04-04-2006, 02:48 AM The blog entry comes from the Grey's Anatomy writers' site...which appears to be under ABC's copyright (tiny bar at the bottom), so I had to edit it, but I just happen to know that link. ;) Those blogs are fun reads, though there are way too many comments to wade through.
ETA: Or The Partyman and I could get tangled and edit over each other. hehee.
The Partyman 04-04-2006, 03:33 AM ETA: Or The Partyman and I could get tangled and edit over each other. hehee.
Oooops.
True Love 04-04-2006, 12:44 PM I hate reruns (except if I miss an episode but I rarely do). I do love this show though, much more than DHW. The characters are so sweet you can't help but fall in love with some of them. Glad to see George moving on to another love interest and Meridith - yikes -that vet is more than McDreamy, he's McDrooly. sigh

I was thisclose to tears as well! When that poor boy couldn't spell!! :( What a scary moment.
I felt so bad for Meredith in this episode...except for the fact that she still managed to be selfish about it. I really can't stand her selfishness but I can't help feel bad for her parental issues.
I'm very curious as to what would happen if Meredith found out the truth about Richard and her mother. Would she be able to continue working under him?
I love Denny and Izzy. They are soooo cute together! Okay, I'm not going to lie, I LOVE Denny .
I totally agree about Callie. Great addition! She and George are so happy and cute together. I just hope George can get over the oh might selfish one.

Spoiler fix (and Ausiello) (http://www.spoilerfix.com/grey.php) reported that rumour has it that he will be in for 8 episodes. Hopefully it will last longer cause he is too handsome for words!
ETA: Apparently it will be 5 episodes this season and 3 next season

Kristina 04-06-2006, 07:38 AM I was more or less screaming at the end of the eppi, when the vet showed up :)
I had read some spoilers regarding his appearance, but it took a couple of seconds for me to realize that was him..... :jump:
I still have HUGE problems with Izzy and Denny. It is NOT appropriate for a doc to be that involved in a patient, and that's it. it is disturbing to say the very least.
I did however like the way Christina solved the "problem", when Meredith told Derek and Addison that every man she ended up with either was married or Mark :), and I absolutely LOVED when Alex gave Burke the talk about honesty..... He is right, although he could need some more practice on HOW he's saying things.
True Love 04-15-2006, 10:40 PM So this Sunday, Easter Sunday - is it a repeat or a new show? I hate repeats but will watch them just because a repeat of this show is better than anything else on TV. But a NEW episode is always best.
I am glad to see new characters join the show - especially when they are as beautiful as the Vet and the Lover. sigh - if only all doctors were that good looking...
madameripper 04-16-2006, 02:19 AM Unfortunately it is an old episode. We will be getting new episodes starting again on the 30th of the month.
As for some spoiler information, www.spoilerfix.com (http://www.spoilerfix.com) says...
In the finale "...Meredith has to choose between Derek and Chris O'Donnell's character..."
mygoodeye 04-21-2006, 08:07 AM heard alot of buzz about this show, its just started on Channel 5 here, watched it for first time last night. disapointing.
awful soundtrack. sentimental. no real drama. it felt like Ally McBeal in a hospital. and i HATE Ally McsoddingBeal. plus hospital dramas have been done to death and it really offered nothing new or innovative.
if i want drama i'll watch ER (tho not anymore, would have to be repeats)
if i want funny i'll watch Scrubs (they did the whole trainee thing anyway)
and if i want totally bizarre i'll watch Green Wing
what i dont want to watch is soppy relationship stories involving a too-good-looking cast, which is what this seemed to be offering. besides some cool looking wounds, totally lacking.
miss emme 04-22-2006, 11:12 PM Thanks for your imput mygoodeye. I never did get into Ally McBeal so I can't compare that to Grey's and I love Scrubs, soo funny. I think that even tho Scrubs, Grey's and E.R. are 'hospital' shows they aren't the same. Scrubs is more comedy, E.R. was drama and Greys is more like dramedy. All have/had great characters I guess its like what you said it's what you want out of a show. I happen to not mind watching good-looking-doctor-characters ;)
mygoodeye 04-23-2006, 08:02 AM i'll give it another chance though, i was just having a grumpy day when i posted that:rolleyes:
The_Sheppardess 04-23-2006, 10:55 AM mygoodeye, I felt the same way last year when the show started. I basically thought "great, another medical drama". But I did a complete 180 this year, and I have no idea why. I don't know if it was the show or me, because something changed and Grey's is now my 2nd favorite show and the one all my friends talk about on Monday morning.
Definitely give it another try. It's not as fast-paced-in-your-face as ER (which I loved in the old days), but it does have some really great acting and writing and I find you end up rooting for these characters (maybe not all of them, but most them).
:79:
Carencey 04-24-2006, 04:54 PM Same here...I really didn't get attached to this one until early in this season. Before that I'd just watch it because nothing else was on. The writing is good, but the main strength of Grey's in my book is the cast, and they of course took a little bit to really gel. (Not that I don't like Ellen Pompeo, but Meredith's actually my least favorite!)
Luanne 04-24-2006, 10:01 PM I liked Meredith's character at the beginning, never really cared if her and McDreamy get together. I am all about Christina and Burke, I think if this cast didn't gel together it wouldn't work as well
True Love 04-25-2006, 01:13 PM Christina and Burke are your classic odd-couple but I love how they still make it work. I really want Meredith to get back together with Dr McDreamy. They have so much chemistry. I agree this isn't one of those fast paced hospital shows which is nice. I don't think I could watch a show like that on a Sunday evening. Grey's Anatomy is a perfect show for the end of a weekend.
Chrystal 04-26-2006, 12:58 PM I wasnt too impressed by the 1st episode, but the show has improved a lotin the other episodes. It's on after House, which could go 2 ways - 2 medical dramas on after eachother, some people might find a bit much; but they are really different, and i watch them both and really enjoy them both. I think George is great!
LostFan_Jamie 04-30-2006, 03:19 PM a new grey's tonight!
izzie's trying to figure out where georgie lives, haha the preview's funny
Carencey 05-01-2006, 03:02 AM totally repeating myself here, but OMG a few years and a little facial hair have done wonderful things for Chris O'Donnell.
miss emme 05-01-2006, 03:49 AM Be still my heart, first of all an amazing DH episode followed by a brilliant Grey's Anatomy. Could Sunday get any better. I loved Merediths and McVet's first date, wasn't that the sweetest, aaawwww. Did anyone think that Derek looked alittle peeved seeing Mer coming down the stairs in just the shirt so l was alittle shocked when he went home to have hot sex with Addy, weird. I honestly thought he was coming home to ask for a divorce. And Alex isn't winning any popularity contests. He sure can be a jacka** but on the other hand he has the balls to stand up for what he believes in. Wouldn't it be funny if he realized that he really does like working in that field. I got alittle teary when Izzie and Denny got to hug and her comment "your tall" *sniff, sniff*. I'm glad that George has moved back in the house. I wonder if Izzie is going to warm up to Torres if she really is Georges "best" friend then she should give her a chance.
Oh yeah *edited for the ps*
P.S. check the newest entry in GreyMatter http://www.greyswriters.com/
goddessblue 05-01-2006, 04:00 AM Ohhh miss emme! You said exactly what I feel about the epi, lol! The Izzy and Denny stufff is so sweet. And i hope she doesn't get in trouble but I have a feeling she will before the season is out becasue Dr. Bailey is BACK. I think that Derek was going to talk to Addy, too, and that seeing Mer come down the stairs he jumped to conclusions and saw her as moving on....I saw the shower scene w/ Addy almost as revenge sex. :ohwell: Christina and Burke...after the surgery...she was so great with him. I felt so bad about Burke losing that patient. I like Dr. Torres and George together. I hope that Izzy is cool. And I was so glad to see George listen to that patient and move back in to the house!!! He was so nonchalant about it, too! That whole thing with Alex and Addison and their paitient...I could totally relate, as a woman, to what Addy did. And I thought Alex was wrong. But you do have to give him props for having the balls to speak his mind on what he believes. Wonder what's going to happen with Addison in that whole thing. Will she be sued?
Oh! And did I mention Chris O'Donnell is friggin HOT???
LostFan_Jamie 05-05-2006, 07:19 PM Denny is the best new character EVER, if he dies I will boycot the show (well, not really because I'm hooked) but I will boycot it in spirit.
Raisinette 05-10-2006, 03:41 PM LostFan_Jamie, I think I'd miss next week's episode then...it looks...bad for Denny... :(
Adore the show though. I really like Kali, George's new woman. The bathroom scene last week was great!
LostFan_Jamie 05-10-2006, 07:56 PM Yeah the bathroom scene was cute.
NOOOO!!! please dont die Denny!!!!!! They make it look bad for him but it's all just a ploy, A PLOY!!!!!!
miss emme 05-15-2006, 02:37 AM HOLY CRAP!!!!! I almost jumped out of my chair when Bailey turned Burke over OMG. What an ending!! How shocking!! Wow!
Chrystal 05-15-2006, 11:39 AM How far ahead of Britain are you for Grey's Anatomy? Any ideas? lol :)
aydans_mommy04 05-15-2006, 11:44 AM OH MAN GUYS.. last nights epi blew me away!!!!!!!!! I was sooo shocked.... and shocked... that's all I can say!!!! It was unbelievable at what the heck happened! What the heck was Izzy thinking? I know she loves Denny... but gooooooooooooood LORDY!! Despite how much I have ever loved in the past.. I would never be willing to do something like that! Man.... last nights epi BLEW ME AWAY!:)
stef
missmaj 05-15-2006, 05:18 PM Last night's episode was too much to bear...Dr. Buke getting shot...Addison freaking out on Derek...and Izzy....omigosh...what an episode!!!!
Can't wait for tonight's 2-hour finale!!!!
Petragrrl 05-15-2006, 08:04 PM Thank goodness for TiVo, or else I would've been devastated... Grey's Anatomy parallel to 24?! Aaarrrghhh...
goddessblue 05-15-2006, 08:37 PM OMG! I just got finished watching the tape of last night's epi!!! Thank goodness part 2 is tonight! I can't believe Izzy! And Burke! omgomgomgomg
miss emme 05-16-2006, 02:04 AM I think its going to take me a couple of days to get over this one.

gotta collect my thoughts on this one.....
missmaj 05-16-2006, 08:05 AM WOW...
...that's all I can say about last ngiht's episode...
addicted2much 05-16-2006, 09:06 AM ABC has announced their new fall schedule.
They are moving Grey's to Thursday night at 9:00 Eastern/ 8:00 Central . It will air opposite CSI. I am shocked . I know ABC wants to do better on that night in particular because of all the advertising money spent on Thursday, but CSI is the highest rated show on television, when American Idol isn't running.:ohwell:
aydans_mommy04 05-16-2006, 09:39 AM OMG guys... I cried my eyes out... I was like a teeny little baby! I couldn't stop crying!! I guess I was crying soooo much because of Denny... and how excited he was to start his new life! And Izzy... going to the prom, she was BEAUTIFUL.. toooooo darn beautiful for anything horrible to happen like it did! I wasn't sure if I liked Alex comforting her! I have never liked Alex, because he is a major jerk. At first I thought he was just using that situation to get closer to Izzy, but after a second I really though he was being good and true! Oh man guys... I cried sooo much last night!
My hubby hadn't watched any of the episodes, but saw Sunday nights and was amazed at how good it was! Monday rolls around and I was shocked when he hunkered down on the sofa to watch the finale! He said "last nights was just too good to NOT see what happened!" So we sat there watching it together! I know my hubby thought it was sad, I could tell! He didn't cry, but I could see it in his eyes! He was like "damn.. that Izzy can ACT!".
Anyway guys, not sure if I like how Merediths issue ended! I mean, she is standing there with McDreamy and the Vet, and they are both calling her name? I hated how she had sex with Derek! I have always thought they were supposed to be together, but not like that! That was wrong, and it broke my heart to know that they didn't give a damn about Addison! Poor Addison! Wonder what is going to happen with that?
If I were Burke I'd hold a major grudge against Christina! She gives him this long speech about how she will do whatever he needs, then when he needs her the most she isn't strong enough and basically stands in the shadows! It hurt me that Christina wasn't more involved than she was! She kinda redeemed herself at the end when she went in and held his hand.
The thing with George and his girl, and him telling her that he couldn't tell her that he loved her because he didn't mean it! That WHEN he says it he doesn't want to just say it because it was said to him:) That was totally true, and I think that Dr. Torres (sp?) understood after he explained why he hadn't said it back! I felt bad that George was called away to help Izzy and his gf felt like he was avoiding her after she said it! The whole situation was sad, until George explained himself:)
I loved this epi... it made me happy (When Denny got the heart and all was good, when Denny asked Izzy to marry him!). Then it made me sad (when they had to put Meredith and Dereks dog to sleep, then the Cheifs Niece getting cancer again, and saying that atleast she had been loved!!!! Then Denny dying! :( The scene where Izzy couldn't leave Denny:) ) It was all just soooo much to take in!! I think I am still slightyl in shocke over the whole thing! I kept telling my hubby.. "I LOVE DENNY... he can't die... I LOVE HIM.. I REALLY DO LOVE HIM!:)" Hubby kept looking at me like I was insane! I know that if it wasn't about protecting his ego, he would have been crying along with me:)
Stef:)
kayid23 05-16-2006, 09:43 AM I WEPT when Denny died. I loved that show, but now with Izzy and Denny leaving I quit watching.
Their love story was so... original! And sweet!
I serousley cried really bad. Haha... I know I'm pathetic.
Honbun26 05-16-2006, 03:07 PM Great finale last night! Loved every minuted of it. There I am, screaming at Christina - "Go stand by your man! He needs you! Don't be such a wimp!" I was kinda surprised at how Christina acted during the whole Burke injury/surgery/recovery thing.
Now, come on - you KNEW Denny was going to have to die. They couldn't let him live, marry Izzy and have a happy life. So, is the Izzy actress leaving the show?
Okay, I am so over Meredith. First, can someone explain to me why this plain Jane, no body, no personality (or, what little she has is so dag-gone depressing, I'm surprised she hasn't ended it all) why she has 2 gorgeous men completely enraptured. I find the character annoying (all that whining!); what exactly do they see in her? The only thing I get out of that grouping is how awful I feel for Addison. McDreamy and Meredith leave the party, leave their dates and go have sex in an exam room. Huh? Kissing I can buy, but to actually strip down and have sex where anyone can walk in (and eventualy did!) is just beyond cruel. They are both so self-absorbed in their own little romance that they give no thought to how their actions affect others. You would think Meredith, after that whole speech to the Chief - about how her Mom left her Dad for the Chief but the Chief staying with his wife was the right thing - would try and do the right thing.
Back to what I love - George pushing Torres up against the wall! She is so much bigger than he is, but there he was doing the whole 'Me man, you woman' thing. Loved it!
goddessblue 05-16-2006, 04:07 PM Back to what I love - George pushing Torres up against the wall! She is so much bigger than he is, but there he was doing the whole 'Me man, you woman' thing. Loved it!heh heh I loved that too! Go George! He's her McDreamy.
True Love 05-20-2006, 07:39 PM The whole sex thing with Der and Mer just had to happen. They just wanted each other so much, missed each other that all sense of what was happening didn't have time to come into play. Their love and lust for one another took over. It wasn't a matter of "let's go do it" or "let's do it now" because there wasn't anything planned. She was trying to escape him and he wanted her to know he also wanted to shake his desire for her. He tries to explain how she haunts him and he wished nothing more than to be able to get over her. It is only then that she realizes how much their attraction is so intense. I am surprised those of you who criticize their actions don't get it. It wasn't a matter of having sex in that room. They would have had sex in the parking lot or the dance hall unless someone stopped them but in this case no one could stop them - and so it happened. Not planned, not thought out. Regrets? Maybe - we will just have to see.
LostFan_Jamie 05-24-2006, 12:22 AM I saw that someone asked, so I thought i'd say that
Katherine Heigl, who plays Izzie, is NOT leaving the show!
I know that Denny's death was inevitable but I still cried my eyes out.....
ANd yes, I was pretty disappointed in both Cristina and Meredith this episode. But I loved te Snow Patrol song at the end!
miss emme 05-24-2006, 12:40 PM Yes LostFan I had heard the same thing. I bawled my eyes out watching the season finale. Oh My God Denny dieing. I was standing in front of my tv saying No,No,No, thinking maybe l might have the power to change the outcome. Right. I wasn't impressed with how Christina acted with Burke but then shes not the warm and fuzzy type. She's the Suck it Up and Deal with it type so she probably was unsure of showing her support to him. I think someone already mentioned about Alex comforting Izzy when he picked her up off the bed. That really struck something with me. And Mer really has issues. She needs to deal with. She even said to Derek when she had her "you can't call me a whore" speech. She called it daddy abandoning issues. Alot of women act out like her character does. I felt so bad for Addison when she told Derek how she felt in front of everyone. That was a *gulp* moment. I liked how they ended it. Who does she go with??? I say Finn because l read somewhere that hes signed up for the first part of season three.
LostFan_Jamie 05-24-2006, 07:59 PM yeh i would think that too except
hasn't he only signed up for like two episodes? maybe she'll choose him and then change her mind
i knew it was a bad omen when no one said anything about Denny's season three contract...
miss emme 05-28-2006, 11:05 PM Squeee did anyone see Ellen and Isiac on Oprah OMG it was awesome.
LostFan_Jamie 05-29-2006, 12:11 AM No, when were they on?
miss emme 05-31-2006, 01:30 AM Last week l think Thursday or Friday and I spelled Isaiah's name wrong.
waltisfuture 05-31-2006, 03:08 PM Squeee did anyone see Ellen and Isiac on Oprah OMG it was awesome.
It was nice to meet her real life McDreamy. He does look a lot like the doctor (Isaac/Isaiah)
I noticed she had the chip in her front tooth fixed. (like Ana-Lucia)
LostFan_Jamie 05-31-2006, 07:05 PM She had a chip in her front tooth? I wonder if that's why she has that cool voice, almost lispy. I hope she doesn't lose that!
kayid23 05-31-2006, 07:48 PM I honestly didn't know that Denny was going to die.
I'm an idiot, aren't I?
LostFan_Jamie 06-02-2006, 08:18 PM No, no, you're not an idiot. You're just hopeful. Poor poor denny....
LostFan_Jamie 06-04-2006, 06:38 PM Why did he have to die? Now he and Izzy will never get to be married and spend the rest of their lives together. *sobs*
I think that's why he had to die. If he'd lived, him and Izzie would've lived happily ever after, and, well, this is Grey's Anatomy we're talking about. When do they ever let us stay happy?
mintsharpie 06-04-2006, 07:02 PM I think that's why he had to die. If he'd lived, him and Izzie would've lived happily ever after, and, well, this is Grey's Anatomy we're talking about. When do they ever let us stay happy?
Oh... right. Well, couldn't they have given us just one happy ending to make up for it? Poor Izzie.
Did anyone else think the ending of the finale with both Derek and McVet calling Meredith was kind of cheesy? I thought it was the best episode yet, but it's so easy to make fun of... it actually ended on her confused face. How lucky is she to have two hot guys after her? ;)
LostFan_Jamie 06-04-2006, 09:59 PM I know. She doesn't deserve Finn, IMO. He's too good for her. As you can see, Mer is NOT my favourite character. But I agree completely when you say the episode was the best ever
missmaj 06-04-2006, 10:59 PM She doesn't deserve Finn, IMO. He's too good for her.
I completely agree.
Mer and Der fans, I'm sorry but this is how I see it Derek = McSelfish; Meredith = McStupid...
I actually feel sorry for Addison. She should go back to McSteamy, that guy really loves her. But I don't want her to go back to New York beacuse I'm starting to like her.
Denny's death broke my heart...Izzie losing Denny broke my heart...Meredith choosing Derek over Finn broke my heart...Christina leaving Burke when he needed her most broke my heart...
All in all, I say this episode's great!!!
LostFan_Jamie 06-04-2006, 11:40 PM Haha, yeah, I know, rarely can something so sad be so GOOD! Kinda like Forrest Gump. my heart got broken eighty times over this episode, but it was the best finale ever, maybe even better than Lost. But then again, it is Lost....I don't want Addison to leave, but it sounds like she doesn't have to, because McSteamy's signed on for thirteen episodes
I miss Denny!
miss emme 06-05-2006, 12:37 AM I couldn't stop crying watching the finale. It was so good. Addison is now part of the cast and apparently l read somewhere McSteamy is coming back for a couple of episodes.
LostFan_Jamie 06-05-2006, 12:42 AM Well, that's good. McSteamy is almost as good as McDreamy. But no where near as good as McVet!
miss emme 06-05-2006, 01:13 AM My vote goes to McSteamy. I found him VERY attractive.
pug3323 06-05-2006, 09:41 AM My vote goes to McSteamy. I found him VERY attractive.
haha. oh yes. I think everyone did.. I'm torn between McVet and McSteamy. However, I want Addison to go back to McSteamy and Meredith to pick McVet...
LostFan_Jamie 06-05-2006, 03:48 PM Yeah, McDreamy can handle being alone I'm sure. He can just get transferred to another hospital. Or find someone new.
GuanaGirlGetsLost 06-05-2006, 04:31 PM No, no, you're not an idiot. You're just hopeful. Poor poor denny....
you are not an idiot !
I was soooooo hoping Denny would live ...he was just so lovable and he had the greatest smile !!! I cant remeber the last time I cried like that for a tv character dying ....oh wait .... that would be when Boone died....
:crybaby:
Chrystal 06-05-2006, 05:00 PM What episode are you guys on over there?
We've just had the one where people get ciphilis and Meredith finds out that Derek is married...
LostFan_Jamie 06-05-2006, 07:07 PM Haha, that's the finale for season one, we're talking 'bout the finale for season 2. Sorry if we're giving too much away!
penyours 06-19-2006, 01:10 AM I just finished watching season 1 of Grey's Antamoy and I'm loving it!! So well written and quite a few subtle details. I love Sandra Oh in the show, she's great!! And her relationship with Burke is interesting. I love George, but I feel they emasculate him just a tad too much. This show takes all the great elements of sex and the city, without being obvious about things, and melds with a hospital drama. I can't wait to start season 2 later on!
Sam G 06-19-2006, 01:31 AM Hum, I started this thread and somewhere along the way it managed to get unsubscribed because it isn't showing up in my User CP?
miss emme 06-19-2006, 09:54 AM I was wondering where you went to Sam G
Sam G 06-19-2006, 11:13 AM It seems I missed most of this thread? I can't believe there's 42 pages.
I do know why there are cross over actors on Grey's and LOST, they have the same casting director, did I say that before?
100%
Denny/Jeffery Dean Morgan is supposed to have gotten a seeries of his own now.
Shonda Rhimes wrote a pilot TV series that he is in and he is also in a movie with Lisa Kudro "Kabluey" and it's filminf in Austin, TX.
LostFan_Jamie 06-20-2006, 12:03 AM Yes I'm very excited about JDM's new stuff, he's awesome.
I'm not aware of any Grey's / Lost actors being the same, and I keep a close eye out for it. For a while I thought Meredith's dad and fake Sawyer shrimp man were the same person, but they aren't.
Sam G 06-20-2006, 09:29 AM Yes I'm very excited about JDM's new stuff, he's awesome.

Dr. Candle was on as a patient's father.
Jeff Perry/Shrimpman does play Thatcher Grey in Grey's Anatomy.
LostFan_Jamie 06-20-2006, 05:02 PM !!!!!!!!!!
Whose father does Candle play? Season 1 or 2? Are you serious about the srimp guy? I looked it up, but it said they were different people. Hang on, I'll look it up again.
100%
OMG they are the same person! jeff Perry. You probably think I'm a loser, but this is very exciting for me!

everblue3 08-22-2006, 11:57 PM Where are all the Grey's fans? Waiting (im)patiently for Sept 21?

I think you can pretty much cross out the Izzy/Denny. That would just be sick.
everblue3 08-23-2006, 01:36 AM I think you can pretty much cross out the Izzy/Denny. That would just be sick.
Funeral plans, Sam. On Grey's, at least, once they're dead, they stay dead. I meant the Izzie/Denny funeral plans.
missmaj 08-23-2006, 02:06 AM I'm looking forward to Christina/Burke the most.
I don't really care much for Derek/Meredith anymore. *runs away to avoid angry mob*
Selene 08-23-2006, 05:20 AM IHi everybody,
a new GA fan here:):):)! Though, the show wasn't aired here :undecide:, so I watched about 8 episodes on youtube, but only the first season:cool:, oh, well, hope you'll spoil me about season 3 when it begins, I don't really like waiting a lifetime to see it:biggrin:
miss emme 08-23-2006, 09:33 AM Selene can you rent it? Then you can catch up.
Sam G 08-23-2006, 10:18 AM I'm looking forward to Christina/Burke the most.
I don't really care much for Derek/Meredith anymore. *runs away to avoid angry mob*I agree. I thought it was pretty unsatisfying, Derek/Meredith, and I think that may be how we were supposed to feel. It was really cheap and stupid. MissMaj, you know what I mean, I won't spoil it.
missmaj 08-23-2006, 12:14 PM It was really cheap and stupid.
Best words to describe it! ;)
IrishUnicorn 08-23-2006, 01:11 PM I don't really care much for Derek/Meredith anymore. *runs away to avoid angry mob*
ITA with that! The only reason I care about them is that I'm curious about Meredeth's decision. They've never been why I watched the show. I'm much more curious about the relationship between Meredith and her mother, as opposed to any romantic entaglements.
I guess what I'm most looking forward to is the fallout from Izzie's decisions.
Selene 08-23-2006, 03:22 PM Selene can you rent it? Then you can catch up.
It's not even for rent here:undecide:, the main reason is that no Russian DVDs exist - that's why there'll be no profit of selling/proposing for rent here, so...
BTW, how many episodes are there in Season 2? Not the "standart" 24, right?

freckles_shephard 08-23-2006, 03:47 PM I love this show it's my current no 2 after Lost ofcoarse;)
I still like Meredith and McDreamy but we're only about halfway through S2 yet. I tried to stay spoiler free for the most part for GA but than watched a Oprah episode where Meredith and Burke were on and they showed clips of the finale so now I know what happpenedrolleyes: I hope she choose Derek but I guess that would be a bit biased for me to say that since I havent seen anything where the other guy is in yet...
The one thing I'm absolutely clueless about is Izzy's storyline. She's probably my favorite character so I hope it's nothing bad:o
shawn105 08-23-2006, 04:40 PM The one thing I'm absolutely clueless about is Izzy's storyline. She's probably my favorite character so I hope it's nothing bad:o
Yeah, I think she'll come back. It's hard to picture them just taking her off the show.
From what we last saw on the finale, she was making her way out of the place. I think George was with her or something... they'll prolly talk about it outside in the parking lot, and she'll be convinced to come back. :)
missmaj 08-23-2006, 04:48 PM This is what I heard so far:
Izzie's quitting the internship program, but she's staying on the show.
They may change that, since the producers of the show don't like at it all when something gets leaked.

Hey 1lostfanSA? You may consider catching up with the TWOP recaps (their LOST ones are amusing, too)...they've got a pretty even-keeled take on what'll happen to Izzie in S3.

I'll check out TWOP, we've caught up with Lost now, the finale aired about 2 weeks ago. With GA we're at episode 11, last week was where Izzy was upset with Meredith for being friends with Alex after he cheated on her and 'her' baby died, one of the quidreplets.
Why does Izzy want to quit the internship, she seems to have what it takes to make a really good doctor:confused:

It would take far longer for me to explain than it would for you to (a) watch the episodes, or (b) read through the recaps. It's a great story, and I'm not enough of an Izzie-expert to give it the telling it deserves.

angelsflame265 09-02-2006, 10:22 AM Random question time!
If you were in Meredith's position, who would you choose? McDreamy or McVet? And I guess for guys, if you in Derek's postion who would you pick? Meredith or Addie?
everblue3 09-02-2006, 10:42 AM New promotional stills released for 301:
http://www.greys-photos.com/thumbnails.php?album=608
It appears that we're finally going to get to see "how it all began" with Meredith/Derek and Cristina/Burke! It's a little at odds with the promo released by ABC with all the post-prom fallout, but I think it'll be great to see how the dynamic started among the members of our Gang.
Sept 21 can't come soon enough...
If you were in Meredith's position, who would you choose? McDreamy or McVet? And I guess for guys, if you in Derek's postion who would you pick? Meredith or Addie?
Ellen Pompeo's come out several times and said, Meredith loves Derek, and when you're in that position, "you have to go with your heart." Now, if I were in that position (and with my track record, it would be hard to see myself in that sort of situation...caught between two hot guys? If only...), I'd probably be so freaked out by the choices I'd made and the corner I'd painted myself that I'd choose neither. I'd probably escape into a little bubble filled only with work and, maybe, Cristina as company. I know that seems like a cop-out answer, but I can't imagine myself willingly ruining the lives of so many people (Derek, Addison, Finn, not to mention myself) and being able to face them afterwards. I think I'd hide in my room for about a week.
I'd like to think that I'd talk to Finn, let him know that I wasn't over my ex and I didn't want to continue a relationship with him that would likely get messy, and let him go. And then I'd like to think that I would be mature enough to give Derek a firm ultimatum about ending it with Addison to stop making me the dirty mistress.
But, y'know...he's just so...McYummy. Hung jury.
freckles_shephard 09-02-2006, 11:07 AM Thanks for the photos everblue
I cant see myself in her position being caught between them either and frankly I hope I never am. I think I'd have chosen Derek though If I loved him the way she obviously still do Just as long as he does end it with Addison once and for all. I would never consider being the other woman no matter how much I love the guy.
missmaj 09-02-2006, 12:29 PM I say Meredith and Addie should join forces and dump McDreamy!
LostFan_Jamie 09-04-2006, 11:02 PM very excited about
the reapperance of mark..and the signing of divorce papers by derk and addison. Not that I really like meredith, or mcDreamy...I like Izzie, Denny and Alex. And Georgie:)
miss emme 09-05-2006, 12:00 AM I can't wait for McSteamy to come back. I could watch that man every night on tv. Rawr!!
Petragrrl 09-21-2006, 08:53 AM Tonight's the night, ladies...
Even though I'm a CSI fan as well, this was an absolute no-brainer! How could I possibly miss the season premiere?!
Is it 8:00 CT yet?!
chellly 09-21-2006, 09:44 AM I've got both GA and CSI set up on Tivo. No way I can miss either one. I think I am going to watch GA live though and then watch CSI recorded if I can con hubby in to letting me watch one of them
(hubby hates them both so I kind of have to work around it as much as I can).
ETA: I just read on MSNBC that ABC is going to be re-running Thurs night's episode of GA on Friday nights at 8pm for those that aren't sure which show to watch.
miss emme 09-21-2006, 09:46 AM I was scrolling through my onscreen tv guide totally forgetting about both CSI and GA being on at nine and l was like Ohoh which one do I watch live. I love them both so much. Yikes!!
Petragrrl 09-21-2006, 03:53 PM CSI on the TiVo and GA live... most definitely!
addicted2much 09-22-2006, 12:32 PM Grey's beats CSI in the overnight ratings.
Grey's Anatomy at 9 p.m. opened season three with a hefty 17.1/25 in the overnights, 25.14 million viewers and a 10.9/26 among adults 18-49. CBS' CSI was down, but far from out, with its season-premiere at a 14.9/22 in the overnights, 22.04 million viewers and a 7.5/18 among adults 18-49.
Wow, everyone was thinking Grey's would come close , but not get more viewers than CSI.
Comparing last year's Grey's Premiere episode with this years.
Grey Anatomy (ABC)
9/25/05 (Sun. 10 p.m.) - Overnights: 13.2/20, Viewers: 18.98 million, A18-49: 8.3/20
9/21/06 (Thurs. 9 p.m.) - Overnights: 17.1/25, Viewers: 25.14 million, A18-49: 10.9/26

Carencey 09-22-2006, 02:54 PM Wow. Those are some serious ratings. And that's a lot of people watching television for one night!
I've been griping about the rather inaccurate science all day (ie, people who may have been exposed to plague do NOT get locked in the nearest room and denied medical attention) but I still love the show. Most engaging female characters on TV.
chellly 09-23-2006, 08:49 AM I was surprised by the numbers as well. I knew it would probably be close, but I had no idea it would do so well.
The science on quite a few shows bother me, but if I let myself get wrapped up into the story itself and not worry so much about the details it makes it easier to overlook.
Carencey 09-29-2006, 01:09 AM Holy McSteamy, Batman. :)
(And was that a cute nod or what to have him enter in...a cloud of steam?)
Hard to pick a fave moment in this one--Callie's coffee with the Chief, Izzie and Addison with the muffins, or Alex telling Bailey that he wasn't going to get physical with patients would all have to be up there. Also, Burke's dad being so amused with Cristina's rant.
Petragrrl 09-29-2006, 11:34 AM That McSteamy scene is right up there with the Apollo towel scene... Holy smokes, Batman!!
:thud:
Carencey 09-29-2006, 01:23 PM That's EXACTLY what I thought of, I even suggested to someone last night that it might call for an animated lj icon. "damn towelS". :)
Petragrrl 09-29-2006, 04:10 PM
Wasn't there a Sawyer scene with a towel or another itsy-bitsy piece of cloth guarding his... loins? In his "Long Con" flashback?
I think you should go to work right away, Carencey...
goddessblue 09-29-2006, 10:26 PM I almost forgot how McSteamy Dr. McSteamy is!!
gusthepolarbear 09-30-2006, 07:57 PM I dont watch this show but one of my best friends does and from what little i've seen of it i'd say "George stay away from that latin ogre!!!"
Carencey 10-01-2006, 12:20 AM Um, that's more than a little harsh. First off, what does her ethnicity have to do with it?
Personally, I love that Grey's showcases more than just skinny women as romantic characters. Callie's got her quirks, but it's not like there's anybody on this show that doesn't, that's what makes it so much fun.
i_heart_hurley 10-01-2006, 02:16 PM Cali is freaking cool! She does look a bit huge for George, only cuz hes a little guy :D
But i totally love how he tried to make her jealous. Lol.
Oh and btw what kind of a name is Fin? Lol totally hot though! I love how this show is written and what not. Great Job, among my favorites
gusthepolarbear 10-01-2006, 02:17 PM no i just needed a way to identify her from the others because i do not know her name, no offense meant, i just like george and they dont seem to go together
chellly 10-02-2006, 12:27 PM Oh I love Cali. (I like her character but I like seeing someone that might be classified as “chunky” on the show. I don’t think she appears that way at all, but I know others may. There are fantastic actresses out there that can do a great job and they don’t have to be a size 0 to do the job well.)
The pairing of her and George is why I like the pair so much. They are different and quirky and cute. It’s nice to see him with someone of his own instead of lusting after Meredith all the time. After seeing her with McDreamy if they did try to pair her and George together it wouldn’t go well at all. I like Finn too. I just hope they don’t drag this whole “which one is she going to pick” story line out too long. Or if they do, find some way to throw a wrench in to it.
As soon as I saw Addison’s face when Derek showed up I knew McSteamy was in the room. I saw it coming. So great though! I love seeing him back on the show. I think his character is going to be really interesting and he’s not too bad to look at either. ;)
gusthepolarbear 10-02-2006, 05:21 PM "which one is she going to pick?" storyline? never heard of it *cough* Kate *cough*
i dont know maybe i just have a tough time with george because i identify with him alot
i_heart_hurley 10-02-2006, 07:30 PM I think i relate to George also, i mean besides the fact he is a guy lol
Ohh how funny that Meridith is doing what she is doing with McDreamy and Fin! She has them on a leash! Lol.
miss emme 10-02-2006, 09:57 PM It should be funny to see what Dr McDreamy and Finn (is he a Mc?) do to out do each other to get Merediths attention cuz you know they're going to be. I like Cali as well, I think shes gorgeous. And that scene where she's dancing around in her undies she's not in bad shape either. And I agree with you Chellly, McSteamy can hang around as much as he wants, no complaints from this chick.
gusthepolarbear 10-02-2006, 10:15 PM I'm definitely talking about this show too much for how few times i've watched it:frown:
miss emme 10-03-2006, 01:34 AM Awww admit it gus you like it!!
i_heart_hurley 10-03-2006, 01:38 AM Alex looks weird with his newly shaved head! Or idk my sister said i was being silly, i kept giggling and saying "Look he doesnt have hair!" for some reason it looks funny! IDK im nuts :p
gusthepolarbear 10-03-2006, 06:36 PM Awww admit it gus you like it!!
when it was on on sundays at ten i alway fell asleep while it was on, i want to trade my lost dvds with my friend for her greys dvds
i_heart_hurley 10-03-2006, 06:51 PM I like how the first season DVD was like 20 bucks, and now it was either Grey's Anatomy season 2 or LOST season 2.....hehe guess which i picked?? :p
I cant wait to see what happens with Addison and McSteamy, I ended up liking Addisons character towards the end of season 2 and she is now one of my favorites
miss emme 10-03-2006, 10:15 PM Hey ladies (McSteamy fans that is) here's (http://www.greysanatomyinsider.com/2006/10/eric-dane-becomes-full-time-cast-member.html) some good news.
lmwwashington2 10-05-2006, 04:04 PM WOW... just discovered this website today while trying to locate another favorite. I can't wait until the new eppy tonight. I live in Washington State, outside Seattle though (thank GOD!!) and I always heard about this show but it didn't really seem interesting to me. That is until I caught the marathon they had before the new season. Now I'm hooked!!! I'm SO happy I invested in the DVR so I can make sure I don't miss any. Has anyone bought the series on DVD yet and if so are there really good extra's? The only series' that I've gotten so far are the Sex in the City's and of COURSE Lost!!!
See ya all around!!
i_heart_hurley 10-06-2006, 12:13 AM well i have the 1st season DVD and theres some deleted scenes and behind the scenes look and the commentary is kind of funny.....i dont know about the second season DVD i havent got it yet, it was either that or LOST lol so guess which i chose? I will get the second season of Greys Anatomy next week though
True Love 11-17-2006, 03:51 PM I am glad to see Meridith and McDreamy together. It allows the writers to spend time on the other characters on the show, including the new ones. As long as the story moves along and there are enough interesting side stories (like the guy speaking in third person) they writers won't lose their audience.
gusthepolarbear 11-26-2006, 07:55 PM and i quote
Currently, my favorite character on TV is George from "Grey's Anatomy." He's such a good guy trying to make this way through the world. He's not model handsome and he's surrounded by model handsome guys. He was in love with someone outside his league and who wasn't interested in him. He's the one character I identify with most.
Gregg has spoken.
Jate48 01-25-2007, 07:37 AM Hey guys, new greys fan here.
I'm on holidays (that've gone on too long imo) so needless to say I started to branch out from usual tv shows and I have fallen in love with GA.
Favourite characters by far are Cristina, Meredith, Derek, and Miranda of course.
Just finished watching season 1, I think. Are there only 9 eps in season 1?
But I know of whats happening in season 3, sounds great.
miss emme 01-25-2007, 09:19 AM welcome jate. Greys is a fabulous show. I really like Maddy, Alex, George and Izzy. The chemistry between all the characters is amazing. Keep watching it only gets better.
i_heart_hurley 01-25-2007, 02:36 PM I love the show too! They all sort of remind me of my friends and I. I love how the cast has great on screen chemistry....not to mention the cute boys!
gusthepolarbear 01-25-2007, 05:46 PM George reminds me of well me, its not cool.

Certainly will keep watching, I'm officially hooked :smile1:

cute boys!? Where? Oh right the entire male cast
They do have great screen chemistry, I found that from day one, it didn't seem like they really had to get into their roles, they just fitted.
George reminds me of well me, its not cool.
Lol, not true George is great.
gusthepolarbear 01-26-2007, 04:51 PM yeah george is great though hes a little wierd lately, because of his dad
Some shocks last night...george, burke, and the chiefs wife
penyours 01-26-2007, 07:11 PM Haven't watched last night epi, but I agree since George's dad went into the hospital George hasn't been the same :(. It's really hard to watch him sometimes.
miss emme 01-28-2007, 11:03 PM So what did everyone think of the marriage proposals I was saying (more like screaming) yes, yes, yes to Burke asking Cristina but I was saying No, no, no to George and Callie. Its too soon after the death of Georges father. I wish Alex and Addy would just stop the silliness and get together. And I'm so glad that "the nazi" is back.

My reaction was actually the total opposite of yours! I just generally don't like Burke, I never really have and I think that it was so childish that Burke wouldn't talk to Christina and then when she finally breaks the silence he doesn't respond to what she says...I don't know, it just bugged me. I can't wait for this weeks episode!
miss emme 01-29-2007, 01:15 AM ok I think I missed an episode. I was wondering who started the silent treatment between those two. I like what Mer said "you're in a relationship with no words"

I don't remember anyone actually starting the silent treatment...just that neither one wanted to be the one to end it.
goddessblue 02-16-2007, 05:00 AM Woah. Izzy drilled into some guy's head. And not just with a medical drill but a full on construction guy's drill! And she's off probation. Go Izzy!
Did anyone else feel like Cristina knew something was up with Meredith?
So glad George found that boy! And with Callie! Loved his, "Callie O'Malley, you're scrubed in so I can't kiss you!" exit.
Woah again on the speech Izzy gave, among other things, telling George she thought he made a mistake but was still right there for him!!
and OMG.....Meredith????

It looked like an incredible episode, I saw some scenes on youtube and I got really excited! Thanks for shedding light on the George finding the little boy, when he made that promise I got nervous for him, it seemed like a repeat of the first promise he gave with that man with the heart failure in season 1.
Is Meredith ok? I saw a scene with Derek and a little girl, then water, that was all.
Finally this season is premiering in Australia in 2 more days (for any Aussies on here and aren't sure, it's Sunday, channel 7 @ 8.30pm after Ugly Betty).

You know, I kinda got the feeling like Cristina had, what I call, an "uh oh" feeling about Meredith. Like she just knew something was wrong and couldn't put her finger on it.
Blue Meredith, not good.
Cristina and her reaction, poor thing. Thats her sister. The sister that should have been but isn't, the one you love and you hate but you can't live without her.
We all have her.
It was just a rockin episode. Wish this board was more active about this show cause I don't care for the other one, (no names mentioned...... )
Izzy is all kinds of bold about George and Callie isn't she?! Whats up with that?
I really wasn't too sure about Callie at first but I really like her now and Izzy needs to just let George do his thing.
The Derek and Mark thing was good. It would be nice to see them make nice.
gusthepolarbear 02-16-2007, 05:35 PM yep callie omally has grown on me
Izzy is a "rock star"
Grey can't die...if she does they actually get to explore her anatomy for the first time
Jate48 02-18-2007, 05:09 AM Grey can't die...if she does they actually get to explore her anatomy for the first time
Lol.
Was that ep that you guys saw the finale?
The season finale premiered over here tonight! Great eppy!!
