i like the show..i watched it the first time it aired...it was really fascinating..very existential..made me reflect alot.some of the episodes are really touching..and thought-provoking.... i mean what if you had a similar experience like joan's. i liked the idea of God being one of us.. and talking to me like an ordinary person..i wanted to ask him...or her so many things....

....but now it's now they stop airing it in my location anymore.. I only got as far as season 1..Whaterver happened to joan?

They cancelled it for Ghost Whisperer (one of the two reasons I Hate that show). They figured they could reach a younger demographic if they had a girl talking to dead people rather than talking to God.

And they were right too, Ghost Whisperer is doing much better than Joan was.

They cancelled it just when things were getting weird! At the end they introduced a character that they were insinuating was the Devil, and he had managed to weasle his way into all the right places so people would think he was so charming.

I was really mad that they cancelled it for Ghost Whisperer, although I have to admit Ghost Whisperer is actually really good. They kind of do what Medium doesn't, in terms of her visions and the story lines. Both of those shows are excellent, Ghost Whisperer is more fantasy and a mix of Medium and Dead Like Me, and the Medium is based on a real woman, so I am guessing they are trying to interperet to us the way she has her visions in reality.

I hope they at least put the rest of the series on DVD.

Joan of Arc led an army... Joan of Arcadia was just about to lead one. The show was Just About to get down to what it was supposed to be about all along... and it got cancelled. We'll never know how good that series might have become.

Yeah, that was me when I found out. I still wanna throw something at the tv whenever I see J Jove on it. But they're not going to take my show And my tv.
