i'm a big fan of Nick Cage so i'll probably end up seeing it... some of the CGI effects on Johnny Blaze don't look that impressive to me though

Has anyone else seen the new trailer for Ghost Rider? They showed it before X3 when I went to see it. Dont know about anyone else, but I was impressed! The visuals of GR on the hell cycle blew me away! It comes out next February!

I have seen it yea.It's by the same guy who did Daredevil and he says he is approaching it as a western in tone.Which sounds pretty cool.

Oh crap.... the guy who did Daredevil??? That movie blew .... so I hope the guy learned from his mistakes and made a good hero film finally.... I remember seeing the trailer for Daredevil thinking it would be a good movie, and I don't hold too high a standard for comic book movies so I won't be diappointed, but Daredevil was just plain awful...

I saw the preview as well. All I can say is, I'm not gonna hold my breath.....

I saw the trailer and thought it looked pretty decent. Though Nic Cage is getting a bit long in the tooth to play a superhero. If they were planning on sequels, they'll have to rename it Geriatric-Man! - - an old skeleton covered with sputtering flames, riding an electronic wheelchair.

check out the directors cut.Its not as bad and is a half decent movie.

I never was a DD fan, but the movie wasn't all bad to me. It had som really good fight scenes. I cant stand Ben Afflec & It ticked me off that they changed Kingpin to a black man just so they could get Michael Clark Duncan to play him.

Storywise, I'm not expecting much from GR, but the special effects look good!

Daredevil was so terrible, I almost cried. Colin Farell, however, surprised me as Bullseye- that was the only good casting choice in my opinion.

I dont know...It might do pretty well with the teenagers. Especially the ones who've never heard of him, 'cause they wont have any high expectations as far as the comic goes. They may see it as just a real cool horror movie!
Maybe that's why I want to see it so bad! I never really read the comic, even though I'm familliar with the character.
I think it will depend a lot on the marketing campaign...Hellboy did pretty good, but compared to X men, He's just not that well known of a character.

Because Eva Mendez is very attractive and fits the role perfectly. That said, the movie looks terrrible.

The director's cut of Daredevil should have been the version they showed in the theatre. I think Ghost Rider will be good. I want to see it anyway.

I cant think of a single negetive thing to say about it! The theater was almost sold out the 1st showing tonight, & WAS sold out on the 2nd! It's gonna be the #1 movie in the country for awhile!
It had everything - comedy, horror, drama - something for everyone! Nicholas Cage has wanted to play a superhero his entire career, & man - he hit the ball out of the park on his 1st shot! Keep an eye on Sam Elliot's character - He has one of the coolest scenes in the movie! If I can get my wife & kid to go - I'll DEFINATELY see it again!

I loved it except for Eva Mendez. She totally phoned in her performance and she was totally unnecessary. The side kick guy could have done the plot points that were needed to move the story along. They didn't need her and her too tight shirts for that. Either way, I will buy the dvd when it comes out. :)
