With the crap that's coming out nowadays, Franz is my haven. lol I wore out those CDs within 3 weeks. So, I bought them and will have to make copies soon.

I WANT ALEX TO WINK AT ME. I would die, though. My friend, who got me into them, saw them in April and had front row seats. She had a staring contest with him. lol It was during Darts of Pleasure when he says, "You can feel my lips undress your eyes" (second time) and she freaked out. LUCKY girl. Anyways, I've never seen them in concert cause well, I'm a new Franz fan and their American tour already ended. It is my goal to see them. One day!!! :(

I love Franz :biggrin:. I've been to see them a few times now, always in Glsagow ;). I also met them when they were doing a meet and sign for their CD in the Virgin Megastore in Glasgow in 2003. I had NO idea who they were then, my friends and I just happened to be in the store, with nothing to do, so we bought the CD, joined the line of fans, had it signed, listened to when I got home and have been a fan ever since :biggrin:.

i looked up on ebay how much my record was selling for, someones got the buy it now price for £24.99! and they were given out for free! :D im not selling mine though im hanging on to mine maybe put it in a safe, so like in 20 years it will be worth milions :) :D mwahahaha but its very sentimental cause it put the news paper clipping from the show in it :)

yea, I was at the gig. I just totally missed the giving out of the CDs, lol. That was an awesome gig too, it was thanks to Franz that I saw the Kaiser Chiefs and became a fan of theirs :biggrin:.

Franz Ferdinand is a great group! I love their unique sound. I've downloaded: Michael, Tell Her Tonight, Darts of Pleasure, Cheating on You, Take Me Out, This Fire, Words so Leisured, and Walk Away. When I have the time, I might listen to more clips and download a few more songs.

i went shopping today to bucanan galleries and they have art stuck up on the walls just now for some reason, it might be because of the art school end of term or somthing but anyway! i saw the coolest painting of alex kapranos! it was a big portrait of him with a mic :D it was all modern with a white back ground and multi coloured bits :) im pretty sure it was of him! :) i will try and get a photo of it next time im in there so everyone can admire it :)

i wanted to go to t in the park and see them but i was on holiday and t in the park is for over 18s i think , oh yeah and no money :( lol

i saw the wrist bands in town they are tres cool ! and it goes to charity too

there were tonnes of pics from t in the park in the papers yesterday! billy boyd was on the cover of the sunday mail but alex was on soo many! the pics are just fab! il try and get one as my avi!

Okay, not really. That's what Paul wanted to name the little tour documentary. :biggrin: The actual DVD doesn't have a name. I looooooooooove it so much. It has the gig from Brixton Academy and one from San Francisco. It also has performances from different cities. These are all from 2004.

It's simply called Franz Ferdinand - the DVD. There looks a lot on it - 2 discs worth of Franz footage and what not, ooo yea :jump1:

update on the kapranos painting mission- i went to town yesterday to see potc2 ( which rocked) and i went to see if i could get a photo of the paining . i took a photo on my phone however the glass was too shiney and i couldnt see it :( people were staring at me cause i was in the way lol so i gave up but ill trye again next time im in town :)

There's going to be a "book" with all of the articles Kapranos wrote. :) I think it's going to be available sometime in September. Do you guys know who Andy Knowles is? He sometimes plays the guitar, keyboard, and drums during their gigs. Anyways, he's doing the artwork for the book.
