So, how did you find 24? What about when? 24 is just one of those shows where it's hard to forget the first time you got interested in it, and I think the best way to christen the new 24 forum is by sharing experiences in how we found the show.

I seem to be the TV watcher that looks for the "dark horse" program. When 24 was first announced I had to watch just for the "real time" experience to see if they could pull it off. Boy did they ever. I have yet to be disappointed...even though I liked some "days" better then others. (Hated the drug lord heroin section)

I just started on season 1 DVD & am loving it. I've heard such good things I decided to watch & now I'm hooked! I need to catch up though.

I watched it all the way from the beginning...the real time concept and Kiefer Sutherland were the main hooks for me.

I was channel surfing and heard " they shot down Air Force One" What?!!!! I got to see this...then was hooked. Didn't want to get interested in a "continued next week" type thing.(finally dumped soaps) but surely did! Have rented DVD's to catch up and also watch A & E which is doing Season 5 now...alittle harder to rewatch knowing Jack ends up in China...but the evil people look so much more sneaky now...hope A & E does Season one again......I love how Jack can convey so much emotion in just a touch....

Last summer I heard about how good the ending of season four was, so I decided to watch the season five premiere. After those four episodes I was addicted! I caught up on the seasons that I missed with the DVDs, and have been watching ever since. :biggrin:

i started watching the very first season...then i fell off of it when i lived abroad for sometime...and i have been catching up on dvds since. it just seems easier then tv.

I watched the first three seasons of 24 while Season 5 was on...and I'm watching Season 4now...

I can't watch a show unless I've watched it from the beginning. I'm wierd like that. And I wasn't watching TV that much when it started...and then it was too late...lol. So I waited until I found someone who had the DVD's and started watching it that way. I kind of like watching it all at once instead of week to week though.

I heard it was a good show, so during the lost hiatus this month i got the cds from the beginning of season 1 and watched and of course was hooked! Go get 'em Jack!

Since before season one.

I had heard about 24 when it first started but usually I wait until at least a full season of a show airs before I watch (lost and heroes are the exceptions!) so I can get the DVD and see the episodes one after another 24 is great to watch this way! So I ended waiting until three seasons had finished before I watched them all within a period of one month.

Never watched the first series, it looked pretty bad and I hated the one who played Jack's wife. Started watching in season 2 when I had nothing else to watch and I got hooked.
