Is anyone else watching the webisodes? Me, I can't wait for either Tuesday or Thursday noon (that's when they're usually up). Tomorrow's going to be webisode # 8... only two more to go.

Pretty intense and dark, if you ask me... but great stuff, as usual. Wonder what Doral's plans are for Jammer...

I tried. I really did. I didn't find them very interesting though. Maybe because none of my favorite characters are in them.

I finally got a chance to see them the other. They were very well done. Wish I could have seen them before the new season began but they did provide a little glimpse into the occupation.

I enjoyed the webisodes...sure you could get through the first few episodes without having seen them, but they provided some nice insight into Duck's and Jammer's motivations.

Looks like we may not get any more things like this for BSG or other shows until some disputes with the writers are resolved though...kind of shocks me that the networks wanted to treat it as a promo and not pay the writers even though they clearly had to create a storyline.

Wow, really? I didn't know about that. They surely paid the writers for something though, even if the format of the product did not count as a TV episode? :undecide:

I did *hear* that were some issues with The Lost Experience in terms of the crtiteria for which the creative elements were classified and paid for. Something to do with it not falling within the scope of WGA rules.

here is a nifty interview with the webisode writers -- I guess it wasn't that they didn't want to pay them at all, but they wanted to pay for it as promo material rather than crediting and paying WGA scale. Not that I think WGA has really figured out what this kind of stuff is worth yet.

Also, they could use any of the actors they wanted...as long as they were Canadian. Not quite following that, lol.
