Great idea gusthepolarbear. I plan to rewatch the first two eps this week and I will make notes about the connections.

I didn't see as many connections in the second epi... but the comic being penned by Isaac showing Hiro's journey was pretty cool....

Wasn't there something about the derailment on the tv in some background shot with Peter's story???

That was Isaac's story, because he had painted it. Here are the one's that I can think of right now, to get started:

1) Peter cares for Isaac's girlfriend's dying father
2) Peter gets into Mohinder's cab
3) Monhinder's father knows Sylar.
4) Claire's Dad got into Mohinder's cab
5) Clarie's dad was in Monhinder's dad's apartment
6) Sylar tries to "kill" Isaac (in the future)
7) Isaac did the comic book depicting Hiro's journey to New York
8) Isaac painted Peter jumping off the building and flying
9) Isaac painted the train wreck that Claire saved a man in
10) Isaac was watching news coverage of the train wreck that Claire ran through to save a man
11) Greg G.'s character (the cop - can't remember his name) was a a scene of a murder that we suspect was done by Sylar.
12) Hiro went to Isaac's apartment (in the future)
13) Both Isaac and Hiro have seen the "future" destruction of New York.
14) Peter went to Isaac'a apartment with his girlfriend and saw the paintings.

I don't think that there have been any connections made between Niki and anyone else yet, right?

Nope, Niki has been pretty much on her own so far.

I wonder if that is another indication that she might be a villan later?

A co-worker told me this one. I will have to check back to confirm, but one of Nathan's political contributor's last name is the same as the loan shark after Niki.
