Apparently Michael Trucco has signed on as a series regular. I guess he mentioned it at a Con.

I got this from a reliable source so I believe it but I can't say with 100% certainty that this is true since I am getting it 2nd hand.

I also found out he is listed as a cast member in the season finale so that supports this in that he will be around at the end of the season and likely next season then.

He may become Kara's future Ex-Husband, but he's also a tough soldier and survivor, so they may emphasize that aspect of his personality more so than any future potential romances with the other characters of BSG. Would be a welcome relief for those of us that prefer more special effects and hardcore action to all the 90210/Melrose Place/etc.. cheating/sleeping/conniving irrelevancies.

I liked the chemistry between him & Kara on old Caprica (I did start the Standers ship after all) but it wasn't until they showed his role in the resistance on New Caprica that I really started to like him as more than a temporary love interest for Kara.

As much as I love the fx of vipers v. raiders, I think ground warfare like they had on both the Capricas and Kobol is actually more interesting from a story perspective - and that is a good place for Anders to be. I wonder if they are going to show more of that now that they have him. He's not a pilot so they have to do something with him besides have him walk around and be pissed at Kara.

On scifi.com there is an entry in David Eick's video blog that has Anders, Apollo and others (I think I spied the Chief there as well) on location in BC in what's supposed to be a hostile planet environment searching for... can't remember - food, presumably. But yeah - more ground action coming our way!!

I saw a picture of Dee looking really dirty surrounded by trees & greenery so I wonder if that's what the picture is from.
*briefly contemplates whether DAnders would be a good hook-up...nah ;)
