Isn't that a better paying job than whatever he was doing "walkabout"

I suppose he had to leave the job once he had his operation and the box
company was the only work he could find.

In Walkabout he was a "regional supervisor", or whatever, which sounds much better than an assistent manager. My bro-in-law was an *** man at the age of 20, but has since moved on.

I read thread title and all I could think was, "John Locke? You are the *** man!"

Yeah, I suppose in a mega-corp like Wal-Mart
everybody is an assistant manager to something.

He was also at the toy store YEARS ago, so he could have had tons of jobs since then.
