It was good! Nathan was hilarious. I love him around Hiro. The two are fabulous together. HRG is great, as always. I'm really looking forward to the new storylines!
For those who may understand why Peter thinks the invisible guy may be able to help him and also what that means for Peter's power that he can see him, please explain.

And I guess that Zach and Claire are friends again. Nothing like a suicide to bring two friends together.

Yes Nathan and Hiro are really good together! I also loved Ando's lokk on his face when Hiro's talking about the Japanese folk tale. :D

You know, Niki is so concerned about Micah always but he is much more mature and together than her. She should just let him take care of her.

That was well worth the wait, not disappointed in the least. Some very emotional moments between Zach and Claire and Claire asking MBG to give back Zachs memories. I got pretty choked up. "so I won't be alone" Whaaaaaa! :crybaby:
Ok someone explain to me how did Peter see the invisible man before he was close enough to him to absorb his powers, that confused me. And Peters dream, didn't he wake up in a different spot? I'm so glad its back.

I'm guessing that Peter had already absorbed his powers and was invisible when he's see invisible guy, will have to rewatch that scene to see if anyone around Peter notices him.

And not sure about the dream, will have to compare the two, but this time around they definitely focussed on the Vote Petrilli sign, which tells me
it might be a hint that Peter's event actually happens before the election and not after the election as Hiro saw.

ok folks ....time for Finnster's rambling synopsis... and possiblities tonight's show has opened.

I'd like to start with Mr. Bennett and Sylar. First question: Does anyone know what glycemine ( spelling? ) is? This is the drug that the unnamed doctor and Mr. Bennett were discussing when looking over Sylar. For those who are not sure why Syalr is still in custody, go read the graphic novels at nbc.com/heroes and you'll get your answer there. It looks as though he's trying to figure out why Sylar has more than one power. The doctor mentioned codeons or something like that looking for the sections of genetic coded that trigger super power phenomenon. So, the question here is ..... is Mr. Bennett and his organization trying to stop the spread of genetic mutation or is he trying to facilitate it? It seems as though in his conversation with Mohinder that the general consensus is that it might be to stop the spread of mutation.....

Peter and Invisible Man: Peter was talking on the phone in the middle of the street when he saw this guy walking AWAY from him. Logic would tell us that this guy walked past Peter in close enough proximity for his powers to work on Peter. The folks at the table in the forefront of the shot did NOT notice Peter or turn his way in the least. I thought the fight scene where they were knocking things over was pretty cool. Looks as though this guy'll help Peter in some way.

Nikki/DL/Micah ... What a dramatic story is going on here. Jessica and Nikki fighting each other for control. The scene with her talking through the glass was very tense. Can you imagine being that guard having your bo stick caught in mid-swing and snapped in two in front of your face...?? And her last line...."Who needs God when you have me?".....oh wow...that sent chills up my spine. I have a feeling Jessica is going to get very violent here in the near future.

Hiro / Nathan / Isaac ... This is where I go back to my original theory that Linderman is doing more behind the scenes to manipulate our heroes then we give him credit for. Who saw that one coming with the sword being a replica from Linderman's businesses... ?? After last night's episode I think that Nathan will inevitably embrace his gift and come to the good side of things. He will do anything for Peter as shown in the hospital. Hiro and Nathan make a good combination of powers as well as comedy gold.... Isaac will figure into this by giving them hints as to what to look out for when going after the sword ( that's merely guess work on my part though ). I like the fact the symbol now means "Great Talent" and "Godsend". There are still some questions about it though... ( see the shapes thread )

Claire / Zach / Haitian ... The Haitian has to stay on course with his actions. If he were to return Zach's memories ( even though he can't ) Mr. Bennett would know. It's interesting htat the Haitian has become a mentor to Claire. But why....that is still the ultimate question. It's good that Zach has dropped the silly "you're a cheerleader and I'm a geek so we can't be friends" mentality.... Of course, seeing her drop off the ledge for the first time ( again ) kinda shocked him into friendship I think.

Again, great show and I am already looking forward to next week.....

Oooooh... I love this show.

Still can't believe Hiro stole that sword (even if it was a fake...) Still, he had a point when he said the whole museum would blow up if he didn't take it. Hiro's such a cool guy. And the Hiro/Nathan interaction was hilarious.

Hmmm... The whole Niki/Jessica story is getting pretty crazy. That was some really good acting by Ali last night. But poor Micah! He can't really trust either of his parents, especially his mom.

Thanks Fin that part was bugging me how Peter saw the invisible man without being close to him. I was just assuming he wasn't and that would make sense. The other funny line from Hiro was when he was talking to Simone about Isaac's comic and he said Mr Isaac drew me but my face isn't so round. :24: that was funny.

Fantastic episode!

I'm loving Peter's story. It gets better with each episode. He's the most powerful (aside from Sylar) but also the most vulnerable. Absorbing all these powers almost killed him. He can just be walking down the street absorbing powers and not even know it (unless, of course, people suddenly can't see him or something). Hopefully over the coming episodes, he learns more about himself and figures out how to either limit the absorption or not let it exhaust him so much.

Poor Niki, sucks to be her. I really hope she learns how to control Jessica. But even if she does, she'll still have to take responsibility for what she's already done. No way will she be released from prison. The only way I see her getting out of there is by her own strength or some help from DL.

Linderman's replica of the sword, didn't see that coming. But I thought it was odd that the case wasn't even locked.

awesome episode last night... did not disappoint me in the least coming back after the winter break... how can you not love Hiro? i liked how you were expecting the grand moment of the unsheathing of the sword only to find it's fake and how Hiro was just like, ugh, i guess i'll take it back :lol2: great scene between him and Nathan with the lower volume flying sound hehe... glad to see Claire working to get her friend Zach back... another mind-blower at the end with the invisible man... great reveal!!

I'm quoting myself because I posted this in the other thread (Hiro's waffle house), but I guess it is more appropriate to put it here.

Some random thoughts:

I was ROFL when they showed the reveal about Linderman.... I KNEW that it couldn't be that easy. Nice way to link them all together.

re; Nathan, I think he is already putting it together.

That scene with Nathan and Hiro makes me laugh EVERY TIME.

Even though I had seen all the clips and previews and knew alot of what was coming, I was still glued to the TV... Now THAT is good TV. I recorded it so I will be watching it again tonight. I missed ONE part because I had to go do something, that was thepart after Matt had sat his wife down and told her to think of a number between one and a million... I had to leave the room to help my daughter right at that point, I am thinking that she told him she was Pregnant? guess I will find out when I watch it again.

the scene with Hiro in the museum when he slowed everything down was just awesome. I loved it!

So, again the show leads me to believe that someone else around Peter is a precog (besides Isaac) since he keeps having dreams of the future. Who do we think it is?

We already have some speculation going on that the precog around Peter may be his mother (what I think) or Simone... If you think about it, his mom has been with him every time he has had a "dream". she was with him right before he had the dream about the car accident (at his apartment) and she was with him talking to him about Nathan right before he had the dream re: Simone's father died, and she was with him this time... she wasn't with him the first time he had the "bomb" dream though, so I don't know... I guess it goes back to whether he retains the powers he absorbs or not.

Also, one thing that bugged me... DL put his hand throught he glass... but then a few moments later, Niki turns around and asks the guard if she can "hold her son"... was the guard not there before? Wouldn't he have seen DL put his hand through the glass? Am I the only one that these types of things bug?

I have to say, Ali did some GREAT acting last night. I haven't really been that interested in the Niki/Jessica thing, but last night she was just fabulous.

The way I interpreted it was that the guard was behind Niki so her body shielded the guard's view.

I really enjoyed Ali last night. It makes her character much more interesting now that her two personalities are fighting out in the open, and it almost looked like Niki broke that baton, not Jessica which further intrigues me about that character and that she is fighting her own kind of battle but internally instead of fighting others or moral dilemmas.

I have to say that Niki/Jessica story is weak and lame IMO but that I have hopes that it will get better. Ali seems like a good actress but the multiple personality storyline is a near impossible one to pull off. I'm hoping that they ditch it.

I can see where the Two Faces of Nikki story could get a little tired after a while, but so far I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

It was a fantastic show last night, well worth the wait. My favorite scene has to be where Hiro does his fake sword play with the Rex in the museum - just like in Issac's painting. I love it when they pull visual surprises like that.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It was a little weird (you'd think he would notice a man stick his arm through solid glass) but like Chuck4207 said, maybe Niki was kind of shielding DL from view?

I think it's cool. *shrug* But I'm starting to wonder how it could ever be useful to Niki... It seems like all the other Heroes' powers are somewhat helpful... Niki's seems more like a curse.

Actualy, I was thinking in yesterday's episode - when Niki wanted to go hug Micah and the guard told her she couldn't, she grabbed his stick and broke it in half. Was she still Niki at that time? I thought maybe that was the beginning of Niki finding out that she really had her own super-strength.

Okay, time to let me delve into the set up mythos of last nights episode:
There was the theory that Future Hiro is leaving frudian clues on objects that are important to his goals, such as the sword. Remember when he told the tale, about the man finding the sword in the snow? Maybe Future Hiro leaves it there in that time, or it is a sword from the Future with properties to help out anyone with abilities or was costumed for Hiro.

I'd like to start with Mr. Bennett and Sylar. First question: Does anyone know what glycemine ( spelling? ) is? This is the drug that the unnamed doctor and Mr. Bennett were discussing when looking over Sylar

Glycamine is another name for Glucosamine, which is used in the treatment of arthritis, perhaps they using some treatment to prevent Sylar from moving his limbs.

. For those who are not sure why Syalr is still in custody, go read the graphic novels at nbc.com/heroes and you'll get your answer there. thanks for directing us to the comics :) I wonder if they are setting up a clashing of philosophies between Bennett and Mohinder. I don't think Bennett did anything in that conversation that would persuade Mohinder to help him, he just came off as creepy and vague.

Claire / Zach / Haitian ... The Haitian has to stay on course with his actions. If he were to return Zach's memories ( even though he can't ) Mr. Bennett would know. I'm really curious about what the Haitian is up to.

Linderman's replica of the sword, didn't see that coming. But I thought it was odd that the case wasn't even locked.

Yeah I wonder if Linderman will find out that someone tried to steal the sword, if so will he beef up security around the real sword.

Hey everyone, new to these boards. I've been over on the 360 board following along over there and thought I'd see what I could find over here.

I think the whole Niki/Jessica story is getting a bit boring, but I believe it is all just a set-up to her realizing her power. I mean if you think of super powers, super strength is an obvious one. I think that is what Niki is supposed to have, but she has this whole multiple personality thing going on. Once she gets over her past and realizes Jessica isn't real, she can take over her brain along with her powers. Her breaking the nightstick was just a preview to show you that Niki is meant to take over her powers and defeat "Jessica."

I am excited, however, to see what develops with Micah. During the teaser he mentioned his "secret!"

When I see the contrast between Niki & Jessica, it makes me think of the Detta/Odetta character in Stephen King's "Dark tower" series. Maybe the need here is not to get rid of Jessica, but to blend her & Niki into one personality. (Or give Niki the ability to control her so she can access her super strength & strength of will when she needs it. Now that would be an interesting & complex character!

Oh, I HOPE that Niki is just "subconsciously" using Jessica as a "conduit" to the power... and that she will realize soon that she doesn't need that "crutch" and can overcome Jessica. That is a great theory. The only thing that stops me from thinking that is that Niki was so adamant that Jessica is "real" in Monday's eppy. I hope that she will learn to overcome her, otherwise, I think that she may be being groomed to be the next big baddie. Oh, if something ever happened to Micah... all "hell" would break loose...

Also, I re-watched the eppy last night, and I am sorry, but from where that guard was standing, he would have CLEARLY seen that DL put his hand through the window. It was a clear shot. *shrug* I don't know why, but obvious "continuity" things like that really bother me, since I watch so closely.
But don't get me wrong... I still love the show.

I was also wondering why he was laughing in Peter's dream. If they join forces because they can see each other and be invisible together then why would he be laughing.

I was glad they took Issac's "drug dependency to paint" away. I know this was last epi, but it continued and was mentioned. Wasn't necessary to the overall story. Made him appear stronger.

Favorite part of the show, Hiro and the flying hand slow down. Did anyone feel a little let down at the end that now we have to wait a week?

I think we should be suspect of any vision.......even Isaac's paintings are not always what they seem. Just as Peter lived because the painting only showed his death not reanimation from Clair's proximity earlier, the visions must be taken as only fragments of the whole imho
